The Limited Edition FarmVille Gemstone Collection set is expiring tonight.
You will only have a few hours left to find and trade-in your existing Gemstone collectibles.
According to FarmVille, there is a little over 2 hours remaining.
Whenever you trade in your Gemstone Collection, you are rewarded with a Gemstone Trophy.

Yeah, I finished it, was kinda tough to find the gems. Sure as hell didn’t pay! The trophy wasn’t all that special anyways :/

Thank goodness its over…to many stupid gems popping up and for what..an ugly trophy..bring back the bugs, feathers, butterflys etc.

Traded in 4 sets – didn’t hate it, but once the collection was complete the first time, I was done with it….once is enough!

I got four trophies in the end. I don’t mind it. I prefer getting a trophy then fuel like the normal collections.
How about a choice of prizes in the future?

I just traded in for two more trophies – I have three in all. Honestly, I didn’t know you could get more than one until five minutes ago. For some reason I was under the impression you could only get one trophy and then share the gems you found with your friends. I didn’t even look at the “Lightening” page after I redeemed for the first trophy.
While the pop ups were a little annoying, I say Bring on the Toys!

Kind of silly collection..just lot of annoying pop up ads// wish the trophy or prize would be something like getting free unwithering stuff or farmhands or something like that.

Traded in 6 in all…..i usually plant 4 hour crops so they kept popping up all the time….lol. At least i got 1,200XPs from the gemstone collection….nice!

I managed to complete the collection once, but for being out of town so much and not being able to plant, I thought I did pretty good, and didn’t have to buy any gems. I am a geologist so I loved seeing the gems pop up on my farm

I currently have 32 gem trophies.
Yes, these are worthless to me.
As are the permanent collections. I have over 4000 tanks of fuel, what do I need with another 5.
However, the worst item is the Special Delivery Boxes. I get 1/5 fuel and bricks/boards/nails. I already have 15 of each of these building materials and sell everything over 15.

I don´t like all the comments with “useless”. I don´t play because I want to get XP and I don´t care for levels…
I play because I want to decorate my farm with pretty things. I like the trophies an I love the new sheep with the toys.

Well, I traded it in once, then went to do so a second time only to discover you could only claim it once. So from there I kept discarding gems people sent me. THEN I find out in the last dying days that Zynga had changed the rules (now there’s a surprise… LOL) and that I could have traded in for multiple trophies! At least I got my second trophy since I’d already collected twice the gems needed before trading in for the first!
