Let’s hope this replaces some pop-ups in game. That would definitely be worth it. I’ve done my 5 good deeds for the day

It looks as if they’ve consolidated some of the annoying pop-ups onto a msg. board. Not as annoying . .but is the info accurate? 95% of the pop-ups I see to “help” someone are obsolete. . .example: No one is bldg. a Maison. If they are, they’re out of luck since the parts are no longer available. And someone needs a little extra help on their farm, so you send them a surprise gift? How “helpful” is that, if you don’t know what kind of “extra help” they actually need?

Might be useful if you could actually post the deed and get the credit, but you can’t. Typical. Zynga, I’m getting frustrated with your inability to introduce new features without some kind of problem that generally takes days to fix! If it doesn’t work…don’t introduce it!! And, on another note I’m really, really tired of your insistent pop telling me to place the bakery I have in my gift box! I know it’s there and I’ll place it (or not) when I darn well feel like it. I’m the one playing this game…not you!

Looks like a great idea, i hope it elimates the pop ups. i would like to see who needs help and i hope in return get a reward at the end. ie after helping a 100 people get a 1 Fv$ that would be nice. And to help others that r trying so hard to finish buildings etc….they would benefit that way but the helper can benefit to. Overall i like the idea hope it comes about…..

If it reduces the pop-ups, fine. If it keeps referring me to players who are no longer active and no longer my neighbor, not so fine.
Remember the old To-Do List (which we never saw) that we received a pop-up when complete?

good idea allready sent gifts to the feed not as gifts to the gift page on face book, but still had non players there and it was a bit slow but good anyway, got a green plume but it did not finish my collection when others needed only one thing so the gifts must be limited

I haven’t seen this on my farm yet, so I’m guessing it’s rolling out slowly as are most new aspects of the game as of late.
FYI: If you want to know about the mystery game, I suggest you get on that post. They just put out the new prizes…..

Most of the people on my list were players that do not play anymore… I don’t want to bug them with a game they don’t play anymore so I don’t think I’ll do this… BUT I do like that it seems to take the place of pop-ups:)

Hmmm, I was on my farm when they added this, and I thought it was a really cool addition until I realized that all 5 of the people on my list were completely inactive. I hope it’s not like that for everyone, because I’d hate to hear they added another feature to try to reel in inactive players.
I wonder if the list will change every now and again? Because there’s no way I’m posting things to inactive players. This could be a good idea if it changes the list of people regularly, because maybe then it’ll show some of my ACTIVE neighbors.

This seems like a really good idea. But, like some have said, some of the people on my list are completely inactive. 3 of them weren’t and so I did it for them, hopefully some people get my name and I get some things.

The princip is fine – BUT up to now it is lust like the pig. The friends you are suposed to help do not play. I checked the 5 people I helped today and none of them has been on ther farm since June

I think we should get PRIZES for doing good deeds. Like if a pig runs away on a farm or something we get a Bacon Shop I think they should be kinda like Co-ops

I have used it and I like it alot….. thos of you who say there are problems…. that is just you guys so it can be your computer. I am using it and it’s great…. most game publishers that introduce something that has an error didn’t have that error when testing it…. sometimes it gets caused because of many users using it sometimes they use to many softwares and sometimes its to heavy… and with the wall post thing facebook is the one with the most problems on that.
For those of you who say it is pointless this has been put to try and increase interaction with other users. If you would get credited then how would that be a good deed. Can’t you guys stop being greedy and always asking something in return. I find it’s a good idea and hopefully it will teach a lesson to some of you.

If this eliminates the popups then I’m all for it. Plus it worked fine for me.
I do agree though that FV should try and “weed out” anyone who has not been playing for a while.

This is all well and good, but they forgot to take into consideration the fact that some people do not allow things posted onto their walls. I had 5 people to help but can only help 4 because one has his wall blocked. Now I am stuck not being able to complete the task. Wonder if it will always be stuck there or if they will realize they have to check this out.

They should offer you the choice of removing neighbors who you can’t post to so a new one can take that spot and your not stuck with that board on the side of the screen.

Two people have sent me things and both times I get a message that says I can’t receive the item. So, for me, it’s not working. I can send gifts to people, but not receive!

My first 5 worked fine. They are all active players. My second 5, 4 worked and one says unable to post. I don’t know why that is. I’d like to finish that one and get a new list. One neighbor thanked me for the collectible they needed.

Daily deeds very frustrating when you have neighbors that do not allow you to post to their walls you don’t get the opportunity the next day to help friends because the one or two that you can’t post to will not go away … apparently this is a glitch that needs to be fixed!!!!

I am also frustrated with all the pop ups…and now another one.
Suggestion? In most other game such as this, (I.E Zeus and Poseidon, Cleopatra and Pharaoh) there is the option to chose what messages you want to receive and which ones you do not. This makes life with in the game more tolerable. And if you miss something important…well, you chose not to know….no one else fault but your own.
Or just have everything that is extra a player harvests be posted to share on the game feed…if a player wants to have this information posted to THEIR WALL THEY HAVE THE OPTION TO DO SO.
I know some people…the few left who do play who do not share anything anymore because they are so sick of the pop ups.
This I believe will bring back some of the players you have lost in the last few weeks…trust me…I have many friends who USED TO PLAY farmville, and walked away….25 easily I am sorry to say.

Oh, and BTW…the out of Sync problem…yeah it is really bad through Ubuntu. I have to scroll up and back each time a I share something to get my playing screen back on line. I know it is recommended to be played through other browsers..but I find the others I have even more problems with…..except OPERA.

Too many inactive players showing up on the Good Deeds list. I’m not going to spam people who no longer play with FV stuff. There needs to be a way to weed those non-farmers out of the list. Otherwise it’s not much use. Just screen clutter.

I am having a barn expand problem everyday i click on expand and my friendz help me by the next day it does not expand my farm but the button goes off the expand to restart.Its been a week though.And not a single expand works.Can i request you to ask zynga whatsoever is happening.

Just something else to slow us all down. Not necessary at all. Sorry, FV just my opinion. We have so many items that are unnecessary always popping up. I can’t get on my farm most days. Planting takes almost 45 min. all cause of pop ups.

I tried to give a good deed feather but it won’t go through because it says it can’t post to the wall of my friend, so now that deed is in limbo on my game! can’t get rid of it either!

Daily Good Deeds: Good Idea.
Twice now I’ve when to do daily deeds and can’t finish because one of the people on list is not a neighbor, can’t complete, so it’s stuck there like I haven’t finished, I CAN’T FINISH. SUGGESTION: Excellent chance to fix the get rid of friend that don’t play there should be an option to delete person. WALLA solves the problem of people you can’t get rid of….
