FarmVille Candy Basket Notice
The much awaited Candy Basket has finally made an appearance in FarmVille! It works similar to the previously released items like the Haiti School Bag.
Farmers will be able to redeem their candy, (which they can collect from their own or their neighbors Haunted Houses) and receive the following prizes:
- Pumpkin Topiary – 15 Candy
- Scared Ewe – 30 Candy
- Candied Gnome – 50 Candy
- Skele-scarecrow – 70 Candy
- Bat Tree – 120 Candy
- Pumpkin House – 220 Candy

On some farms when you click ok to accept the basket it takes you to the market for some reason. Not really understanding why it is doing that.

“whoa there farmer you don’t have anywhere to put that candy! Place your Halloween basket first. Find it in your giftbox” BUT it is not in there….GREAT

I also notice how ‘expensive’ the redeemable items are this time around…. seems they let us drag on and on collecting candies so we could ‘pay’ a ton for each item.

I never received my basket while all my other friends have. Plus when I add people to my farmville and they become my neighbors they dont show up at all and I cant visit there farm. What is going on with farmville. This is getting ridiculous!!!!

I don’t think having complaints about this Candy Basket issue constitutes acting like an immature 5-year old. Granted, the Halloween Candy in your Gift Box doesn’t count toward it’s limit, but every item you have in your Gift Box counts toward your total limit of items on your account. My farm is so full that everything I’ve gotten lately has disappeared as soon as I placed it on my farm, including a Dog Roses Mastery Sign, two Pink Pot Belly Pigs, and a Swan Lake. When I reload my farm, it all vanishes with no warning. The pigs are no big deal, as they were just free things I claimed, but that’s $30 Farm Cash I’ve lost that Zynga is not replacing (I already e-mailed them) and a Mastery Sign that I can’t get again for a Limited Edition crop that I worked hard to earn. So yeah, waiting to release this Candy Basket for so long was a BAD judgment call on Zynga’s part. And for the record, I still haven’t gotten my Candy Basket, either. I’ve been reloading my farm for a while now, too. One very good customer here who is VERY unhappy with all of this.

I see that all my friends outside of Canada have their baskets already, however those that live in Canada, including myself, have yet to see ours. I find that most items released are late for us that live in Canada. Is that the same story for others on here?

Cant beleive it! I just bought the candy apple crap, i placed it on my farm and then it disapears, ive looked everywhere, they just took it, im so pissed because i dont have much candy and i cant just buy another one.

Do people realise that they don’t HAVE to load their gift boxes with 1000+ items they can’t use? That’s a voluntary act of insanity for which they can’t blame Zynga.
I could do with a couple of Bat trees, one Scared Ewe and one Scarecrow, but the rest aren’t appealing (to me anyway). That takes up about 220 candies. Why on earth would I want to save up another 1000? Speaking of madness, why would anyone save up mystery eggs? I just don’t understand it. Is there some bragging rights attached to who has (or now ‘used to have’) the most unopened eggs?

It’s sad…but look at yourselves with your issues (if the shoes fits, wear it) about missing eggs and excess candies…..just like #58 said…do you all REALLY need more than 300 (candies/eggs/etc)? For that matter, why do you collect so many eggs and hold them in the giftbox? You have, in essence, become digital hoarders. Watch the show HOARDERS for a more concise example….

Well it’s a little late to buy decorations since we are in the middle of the month already but I think this is the first time I want everything in the collection. I mean
we normally have to pay farmcash for scarecrows and houses so I think they made up for their mess up. The bonus is that we have so much storage now that I can save them for next year! I had to sell all my stuff from last year to make room. Happy Halloween everyone : )

So i made the mistake of collecting over 1500 pieces of candy. I’ve been collecting day and night cause i love having tons of sheep. So now i have to click 1500 times with all the pieces of candy in my gift box. This can take hours. So i know for a fact there is a easier way. I found a better way to click on those candies in your gift box. It was a auto clicker i found. You put in the X and Y spots where the mouse is and then a delay. Which is 4 seconds each time you click on a piece of candy, it takes 4 seconds for the gift box to pop up again. Hit the loop button so it continues to click every 4 seconds in the same spot. Loop it as many times as you want. I did 99999 just for the heck of it but didn’t even think of just putting in 1500.

Yikes! I think these are GREAT prizes that we got for absolutely free. The animation on the tree is excellent. The detail on the skele-crow is great right down to his little bony toes. LOVE the electric current running through the flock of Frankensheep. Geez….this is a tough crowd. Everyone wants stuff cheap and these are free AND great!
