FarmVille iPhone App: Coming Very Soon!
Thank you to FarmVille Freak Syke for sending in a link to the FarmVille App which seems to be available now only in the New Zealand iTunes store, oddly enough.
This is a never before seen preview of the much anticipated FarmVille iPhone application, which would indicate it will be available very soon. When it was first announced the release date was said to be sometime around the 1 year anniversary of FarmVille, which has just passed.
The application for FarmVille offered is free! Let’s hope this is the true application and farmers everywhere will not be charged.

I know a lot of people who have been waiting for just this app! unfortunately for me, I am with T Mobile and the iPhone is not available to me and because I heard it was NOT available on the iPad, I never purchased it. Those who I know would love it if it actually is a free app, but I have no doubt in my mind that even if there is a charge for it, gadjillions of people will buy it…. I mean, think about it….. how many times have dedicated Farmville enthusiasts purchased Farmville Cash to buy something they want to improve their farming/gaming experience? You know who you are! lol Anywho…. I have no doubt that this will be a very popular app whether it’s free or not. I just wish it were available to more of the population than those who are fortunate enough to own an iPhone… Has anyone heard whether or not the Farmville app will eventually be fully functional on an iPad or not?

I changed my country from United States to New Zealand and it’s there and it’s free! I tried to download, but my email is only vaild for purchases in the US. NUTS! Please put it in the US App Store, Zynga!

They are releasing it tomorrow at midnight. Its already the 24th in New Zealand, thats why its showing up there. Were just gonna have to wait until tonight/tomorrow.

@JustaFarmer: You are right, by changing countries to New Zealand’s app store I saw FarmVille (for FREE)… but it says my account is only good in the US. Sort of guessing if I create another account then it won’t work on my iPhone. Guess I can wait another day or two.

Apps is FREE!!! I wonder if we need to wait until the iPhone 4 is officially released here in the US before the apps is available for us. So if it’s not available at midnight ET, then I’d said either 9am or 1pm (time when they released the new iOS4 on 21st)

go to itunes and under the store tab click sign out then new account.
Then open a new internet tab and go here: http://maps.google.com/
search anything business related then put new zealand at the end of it. Like restaurant new zealand.
Go back into iTunes you can create a new account also located under the store tab. Make sure to use the restaurant address as your address.
then go here: go here: http://itunes.apple.com/NZ/app/farmville-by-zynga/id375562663?mt=8
and download the FV app.
Then download the app from iTunes off the NZ store.
Then sign out under the store tab.
Then sync your iPhone or iPod touch.
Then sign back in with your US name and you’re all set.
Warning: My FV app is getting to about 75% then crashing… So it might not even be worth the effort… I AM getting the loading screen, and i’ve synced with facebook… But that’s it.

Resetting the iPhone (by holding the power and home button until it shuts off and the apple pops back up) allowed me to load the farm!!!!!

It works in denmark.. Downloaded it, but it seems like it has a lot of bugs to get fixed.. For example, in the market you can see a lot of expired LE items, but when you buy it restarts and deletes it..
And where the heck is the snow leopard they promised us ?

Ian, why is it everytime you say something it’s has to be an insult? Now, I’m sorry if you weren’t the same guy who also said that the UK were losers, but seriously, can’t you say something without it being an insult? If you don’t like anything FV has to give to you, don’t play. People don’t like negative comments and neither do I. So if you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all.

Well – i was so excited to download this app today. Downloaded to the iphone and the ipad. Says there are issues loading my farm. I am so angry! I rebooted, I removed the app and downloaded again, several times. Then I logged in with my daughter’s account and her farm came up just fine. So, is it because I am level 42 and she is at level 13? Or am I just not supposed to enjoy this wonderful new app? So disappointed.

I got the issue this morning also. So I delete the app and re-downloaded it. Then it worked for all day long….until about 15 minutes ago. Now I’m getting the issue again. Would be nice if we could actually use the app.

I uninstalled and re-installed… and so far it works… we’ll see how long… I think there is a hiccup when it comes to upgrading your farm… I think when you upgrade your farm, the one on your phone has to be deleted before the new one can be uploaded/updated… and I think the glitch is there
