FarmVille Jade Falls Forbidden Coast Early Access Begins!

Forbidden Coast is the new mini expansion of FarmVille Jade Falls farm. In Forbidden Coast you will have access to new crops, animals, decorations, and buildings as well as the opportunity to complete the Imperial Shipyard.
Early access to FarmVille’s Forbidden Coast costs 25 Farm Cash. If you purchase early access, you will also receive a free Cute Phoenix and it’s pretty adorable as far as freebie animals go. If it were in the FarmVille Market, you can bet it would cost at least 25 Farm Cash so it may be worth purchasing early access for the animal alone.
Regular access to Forbidden Coast is expected to arrive in an estimated one week later.

Is the only incentive for the forbidden coast early access the phoenix? It’s very very cute, but I’m not sure I want to spend my farm cash just for that being the extra thing

I think there’s a glitch with it or something. I paid the 25 fv cash and I can upgrade my shipyard, but there is no way to get to the coast. There’s not a button for it. I’ve scrolled all over my screen and it isn’t there. Also, once I paid the money my Jade Falls quests disappeared, although I’m not sure if that is a separate issue or not. Does anyone know how to access the Forbidden Coast after you’ve paid for it????

Not sure if its worth it. I’m sure we’ll be able to get the phoenix as a mystery animal from one of our neighbors farms if they get early access. ; )

It’s not a separate farm, it’s just access to the shipyard on the coast of your Jade farm. Kind of lame if you ask me. There isn’t even an extra quest or anything.

I was out of FarmCash when the early access screen rolled out. I exited to check my bank account before buying a bit more FC. When I finished that, I went back in and my FC shows as usual, but I can’t seem to trigger the early access screen again. Any idea how to access it?

i feel like i got ripped off this is not another farm its just the shipyard which is free in a week really your paying for the bird i was hoping for more room and now i feel like i wasted my money

So it’s not another farm? Thank god! That’s the last thing we need! No, I wouldn’t pay for early access either way, but I’m just happy we’re not getting another new one!

Hi Jacquie,
Check on the right hand side of the farm screen. There are some icons lined vertically for the Vineyard, the countdown, mystery games and new items in the market. You will find the ‘early access’ icon amongst these. Hope this helps

The Cute phoenix is ‘cute’, of course. But I feel undecided as to buying early access to this after reading comments here. It seems like there are no extra plots or space in this Forbidden coast – not any extra quests or something. If it is just early access for the new crops and building the shipyard, its definitely not worth it!
We can still start collecting the building materials for the shipyard from now and build it after a week when we get free access. We would still have limited plots on out Jade farm to plant these new crops which doesn’t make any sense.

I had that icon and I clicked to see what it was but needed to get cash. Now it’s not an option anymore. The icon is gone and clicking the ship does nothing. Any other thoughts?
