FarmVille Lamb Locked on English Farm

There seems to be a new bug in FarmVille that involves placement of Lambs on your farms.
FarmVille Freaks, such as FarmVille Freak Lilly, are reporting that after a Lamb has been bred they are receiving “Locked to England” notices despite the Lamb having been bred on their home farms.
Read below for more details:
“I just bred sheep on my home farm and got a lamb, I didn’t place it on Home Farm (where it was “born”). I decided I would go ahead and place it there…and this is what was in my gift box…

Yes, that’s happened to us, too. Hopefully, that is a glitch that will be addressed soon.

I’ve had the same problem for about three days trying to place a lamb bred on my English farm onto my home farm. Never had a problem doing it before.

I have adopted 2 sheep now and have been unable to put them on my home farm where I don’t have as many sheep

I’ve noticed a similar problem, but not with lambs…with animal feed. I have a trough on my English farm, as to many of my friends. But anytime I gather two scoops of feed, it says “Locked to Home”. So I can’t fill my Animal trough on my English farm, just on my home farm. What’s up with that?

I would love to buy the rams in the market but why spend my money to
breed them when you turn around and make me sell them…

Yes, it has been happening to me. Also, my lambs no matter what color they are or if the parents are colorful end up growing up to be white.

I had the same problem last night, so, friday evening, lamb was made on home farm, yet locked to England?? whats up with that one???

I breed two in the EC and wanted them on the Home farm…But that is the picture i now have. I thought it was cuz i breed them one place and wanted them another..apparently not.

I have a lamb on my farm that was fed 35 / 10 bottles and won’t change into a sheep..I wasted all the bottles and love potion..It has been there for weeks now.

Same here! I can’t put them anywhere but English farm and it says I have hit the limit. Wish they would take away limits. Isn’t it my farm? If I want 10000 each pigs n sheep its my farm!

Maria. (comment #14) you may be able to repurchase one..however if not try to write to the developers and explain the situation. I think the sheep inside are gone forever.

yes i asked someone to let me adopt a male sheep for my first farm and i could only use it in the english farm. so now my first farm is without a male sheep to breed..hope they get it fix soon

I think Zynga should hire the so called Hackers that made up the now illegal sheep because they don’t seem to know what they’re doing. The Hackers made cool sheep that worked when you bred them. This BS is more then likely a screw up by Zynga.

I have 2 of them “locked ” now. One I adopted and one I made on the EC side , and placed in the gift box to take to my home farm.

I haven’t had a lamb locked to a farm but I have been able to share them between farms. If you don’t place them on the farm they were born on, and click on the multi-tool instead, they will go to your gift box. Good if you want a certain colour sheep on your alternate farm. Once in the gift box you can travel to the other farm and place it there. I haven’t had one lock to a farm though.

i have had my lambs locked to which ever farm they were created on, i really really hope this is just a glitch because if this is something new and going to stay that way that lambs can only be placed on the farms where they were created then i have to say with everything else that is going on not the least of which is the lamb limit then im totally done with farmville!

my granddaughters farm has shrunk in size.. her orchard w/all new trees is gone, her fv’s are gone, her sheep are gone, her trees are gone.. she is missing half her stuff..

yes my sheep are locked to england but also my animal feed is locked too . and I have feeders on both farms. I had the home farm feeder full and 28 left but cant use them in england where needed. could not even get on the farms .. mine . nor my kids .. so we in totoal lost crops on 4 farms. but hey I did like they gave me the 64 fv cash for the past lvls after 100 .. thanks Barb.

Yes I have had a time with this. It started yesterday sometime. I’ve been waiting for a certain ram for awhile. Well I got it. But couldn’t even put it on the farm I wanted to. So I am now on hunt for another one for home farm. Zynga can’t seem to get it straight. Now the making of love potion is going to end on the 8th. More problems more problems. Just away for us to spend our money. This is a headache. And I am thinking about stop playing farmville. Because of this sheep breeding stuff and all breeding for that matter. They give and they take away. Now this. I’m sorry I don’t want to complain. But this is really getting out of hand. Thanks

I just ran into this. I had _finally_ gotten my first patterned sheep off my feed (and it was a ram!) and was all excited and tried breeding it some. Since my England sheep pen is nearly full, I kept the lambs in my box and switched to my main farm. No dice, now they’re locked. Total time from “OMG, I got a patterned sheep, I’m sooooo happy!” to “F*** you Zynga, I’m not breeding again you cash-greedy jerks!” was about 5 minutes. Brilliant move there Zynga, I hope you lose money for this blatant cash grab trying to force people to buy two of each patterned sheep you release.
Needless to say I’m not happy. I hadn’t been breeding before this because all I could get were different solid colored sheep and the two-tone ones (all the freebie patterns, I avoided the illegal patterns back when they were widespread). Now… well, screw it, I’ll continue to not breed. I can’t afford to buy any FV cash, much less spend 30 for a freaking ram. *sigh*

I haven’t been breeding lambs since the fun was removed.
No problem with piglets bred on one farm and raised on the other.
While I normally use the Farmhands o harvest the animals outside their buildings, I did notice yesterday that wool is harvested from bred pigs. Has anyone encountered pig wool in the real world? I haven’t.

This is a big issue: no FARMVILLE iPhone mobile FACEBOOK live news feeds since 4/7/11.
Was using regular FACEBOOK desktop version on phone to get by and collect gifts…up to 5/3/11. Now every gift I cluck on ” page not found”.

It is not a glitch, Zynga Cs just emailed me back, they implemented this because sheeps were never meant to be switched over. Certain sheep are exclusive only to english countryside. I still do not get the big deal , however that is what was said.

Moo Moo@36 – what’s this ‘real world’ stuff. This is not the real world, it is a fantasy game, after all you don’t get neon pigs or sheep with flashing stars in the real world either.
Transferring lambs between farms via the gift box was using a loop hole which I suspect was not foreseen by Zynga. The forum does say they are looking into this, but I wouldn’t be surprised if they are locking lambs to where they are bred, and it would seem the adopted ones are automatically locked to England. This would make sense if they want us to buy the patterned ram for the Home farm rather than just adopting its offspring or breeding it ourselves in England.
We will see.
Jim there is a sheep pen for the Home Farm, but you have to earn it by playing through the quests in EC. There aren’t any ‘bunny cages’ anywhere as far as I am aware.
The more I read the threads here the more I am surprised by people who appear to hate the game, hate the company and have no respect for any of its employees – I have a question – why are you playing? Just stop.

Who cares about the stupid sheep and pigs. they are a complete waste of time, didnt have them about a month ago so whats the big deal anyway. Still waiting on zyngz to let us keep one of our foals we make or give the option to share or place on farm. you people need to turn your pc off and go outside for a walk or something ,FARMVILLE IS A FREE APP. that means you pretty much have little to no say on what goes on, even pay apps you dont

i was not going to put any more money in this game,but dumb ass me did.i bought the ram that has dots that blink thinking i,ll get some cool sheep boy was i screwed over they are the ugly ones on my farm. how many screw-ups does it take before they fix problems seams like whatever they come out with it has so many problems that i start to think they do it on perpose. i want my sheep to do as i was led to beleave thay would do and look like on that if someone can help me get a blinking sheep please help

Michelle, Let me inform you that in order to use the Lambs in the English Countryside you have to complete the Dr. Fluffy Quest.” I don’t even know if i have completed that yet but we’ll see i guess…

This is not the same issue, but it is a sheep issue. I successfully bred a lamb, but I cannot find it anywhere. It is not in my sheep pen, it is not in my gift box, could someone please tell me where the lambs go once they are bred?

its cause the new england quest requires you to place 3 lambs on your england farm once you complete that quest you are able to choose the farm that your lambs go on

I don’t know about the rest of you but I’ve been boycotting Zynga for 2 weeks now. I got tired of the way Zynga needs to control how everyone plays all the time, like the sheep they won’t let us breed anymore because they didn’t make a ton of cash from it. No more headaches from Farmville for me. Not playing until they turn off the limits.

I have had the same issue all weekend. No it isnt because u have to complete the task ( did that a month ago). This is business as usual for Zynga. They constantly are screwing something up. I couldnt breed with out placing a ram or ewe in the pen the refreshing the page every single time. Did complaining get me anywhere no, of course not. The blow everyone off at most of these issues and release something new to get out minds off of it. Oh and it isnt a beta game anymore, apparently they think they know what they are doing now..what a bunch of bull!

Yes, I am getting the locked to English Farm message, have been since before the weekend. I’ve also had a problem raising lambs. Once grown, their appearance changes back to a lamb and when you place your cursor on the animal the description is simply ‘lamb”. There is no ability to edit (move, rotate, etc.) the animal. Got 4 of them on the Home Farm and now 3 on the English Farm. I’m done breeding until it gets fixed.

Just noticed this problem today. I hadn’t bred sheep in a while due to getting white sheep 75 percent of the time. I bought patterned rams/sheep and placed them on my English farm with the idea that I could move the patterend lambs to my home farm. I really hope they fix this problem soon. I will not be buying anything else from Zynga until the problem is fixed.

All lambs, regardless of where they were bred, regardless of whether you are currently in England or your home farm, are always “Locked to England.” This isn’t a glitch, it’s yet another cynical attempt by Zynga to force you to pay real cash to unlock the functionality of one of their oh-so-wonderful new features. Zynga, you disgust me, you are a den of thieves!

LOCKED SHEEP IS ONLY A MILD ANNOYANCE COMPARED TO NOT BEING ABLE TO BREED AT ALL.
FarmVille Team is aware of this issue and is now working to resolve it as soon as possible.
HOME breeding pen only was EATING sheep instead of Breeding them EVERY TIME. Then, after hour @ a time for days & days in a row on chat because Customer Service doesn’t respond to E-Mail instead of their great Program Developers (who knows Prog. Dev. are probably pushed for new FV cash component devleopment instead of problems resolution)
THEY CAN’T/WON’T REPLACE BRED SHEEP.
They’ll add Love Potions & Bottles for your problems… but CAN’T USE THEM because CAN’T BREED. So gift box is full & have to juggle for quests or just growing trees. While waiting up to 5 mins to post something if it does.
They escalate it to developers… Nothing’s fixed
They offer you a discount on FV$ and when you go to buy it you only get special offer of a free exclusive tree with discount not credited. & there are security issues since there are new (probably browser files on my hard drive that I never gave permission on & feel violated & now HAVE TO GO TO BANK TO CHECK ON. A sheep that I earned from breeding (racing stripes)subsequently disappeared. AND NOW 1st SHEEP ON ENGLISH FARM DISAPPEARED SO. CAN’T BREED AT ALL.
