FarmVille Land Expansion Coming Soon?
Land is always in high demand for FarmVille players. More room for crops, animals and decor is important but is becoming essential as we fill our 24×24 land from corner to corner. FarmVille Freak iBrad spotted an advertisement for not only a potential land expansion but for an additional farm!
I just saw a weird ad on the right side of FaceBook for FarmVille, and I’m so glad I clicked it!!! This is apparently some new expansion that has not been mentioned ANYWHERE. Wanted to make sure you guys got the scoops
So there is some kind of a “second farm,” a “fresh start,” “more land,” and something to do with Kansas!?

Wonder if the “second farm” means you will be able to connect to it through your present one and share stuff between it? I already have a second farm, but have to sign in and out everytime I switch farms, which is a bit of a pain …… interesting – would also like to see a big expansion for current ones.

There have been a lot of problems with the Adobe Flash player since they just released a new version. You might try uninstalling the flash and reinstalling it from Adobe now that they have this upgrade.

Really don’t like the idea of a “Fresh Start”——I’ve played too long and like my farm just the way it is, thank you. Really don’t like the idea of a Second Farm either…..I have my Farm setup to look about as close to a “real” farm as you can get via this game. HOWEVER—–MORE LAND—-LOVE the Idea of MORE LAND. 28×28, 30×30. Would be AWESOME…..of course, a lot of us would max out on that about as quickly as we maxed out our current farms. So…maybe One Piece of Land for Growing Crops and another for all the Animals….and, all these Darn (albeit great) Buildings. Maybe that would be ok. Can’t imagine how they’d mangle up Fertilizing and Feeding Chickens though…but, sure they’d find a way. Seems like it would be oh so much easier/quicker to just expand the grid for our current Farms. Oh well….one can dream.

I wouldn’t mind another farm if they did it like FarmTown…an icon at the tiop so you can switch between the two w/o it being a different app.
But just an expansion with the rumored underground storage would please me just fine. I’d probably buy more things if I had the room…but it’s looking too crowded as it is. Why make a whole theme instead of expanding first??

I actually like the idea of a second farm, we could use one as our crops farm and the other for an orchard.. or even just to decorate and not have to worry about when they have the decorating contests to delete all the crops or move them around.. I think though that I would limit it to 2 (or -maybe- even 3) farms total and just keep upgrading the grid sizes of those.

While they are at working on an expansion, why not change some of the things we need to use FV $$ on to accept the coins! There are only so many things you can buy with the coins especially when the land is already crowded. FV dollars also are very hard to come by, but you receive coin for everything. Need to use coins and would also love an expanded farm!

I want more farms like farm town. It’s great, you can grow crops on one, have one be a city, have one be country…. the possibilities are endless!!!!!!!!! The thing is, if the farm gets expanded, the loading times are going to be outrageous – it already takes too long to load and move around now. Plus, you won’t be able to fit your farm on your screen. ALSO, the next one (28×28?) is hardly any more space – there is no way that will help me get all the buildings out of my storage.

I like the way it is in Farm Town too, like Jen said. You can grow on one, decorate on another, the possibilities are not limited to one plot of property. Storage doesn’t even cost anything on Farm Town, all you have to do is have active neighbors. Lag time is too long now on large farms. The second one is the way to go as far as I’m concerned.

i would love a little piece of extra land where we can create the new themes, if i want to create a theme now it often doesn’t match with my current farmtheme. see it as a small piece of extra ground next to your current farm!

As awesome as it would be to have more land, it would take a while to load. All my friends with the fully expanded land takes a while to load when I go to fertilize their crops. But if you could connect the second farm directly with the first one, that would be perfect! I’m running out of room for decorations and would love more room for crops, so it’s hard finding a happy compromise.

I have been fantascizing about a second farm area to build my small town and raise a few flowers and vegetables while still farming the big farm. You know, kind of like real life. This sounds like a step in the right direstion as long as the lands are adjacent and accessible to one another. Otherwise, just let me have a 28 X 28 plat of land and I’ll just have to dump some things to achieve my goals. Go Farmville. By the way LET ME BACK ONTO MY FARM. Have been lagged out all day.

I think that there are alot of potential problems with a second farm. Would be able to swap items from one farm to another? Would we be starting from scratch on the second farm? How would they be tied together?
BUT giving us larger farms would mean much longer loading times. Some of my neighbors farms are so laggy when it comes to loading I cant imagine what a 30×30 farm would be like.

Perhaps…have a signpost from our current farm that will take us to our 2nd farm etc. and that way…you should be able to theme each seperate farm appropriately 
We can barely see our farms properly when you fullscreen it now anyways…so why expand our current farm?

They hinted at a mine entrance a couple of weeks ago. Maybe the expansion will be underground. Crops in the sun above, decor below. It would be nice to be able to “mine” your terrain heights to your desired elevation. Effects of lighting could also add a nice touch.

I love the idea of having a second farm! but as much as I hate to say it, I think they should wait on adding a another land expansion until they can figure out how to get the lag cut down on the 24 x 24 first. a 26×26 will only make the lag even worse. As i said tho, a second farm would be awesome. especially if they have a farm to farm transfer system!

When & why did the bi-plane go from $3 to $5 – that bites! Maybe that will cover the cost of a bigger farm – don’t need a second, just some room to spread out the stuff I already have – that I haven’t sold off. Also why did they cut of additional nursery/horse barns? Some of my neighbors have 8. The colts are popping out quickly! I didn’t think that they would be cut off so I only have 1 extra – drats!

the first ad mentioning a second farm might be an application somehow related to farmville.
that farm faster ad is most definitely an ad for an autoclicker program.. with it mentioning “less clicking”..

whoa! I’ve been thinking of having a second farm weeks ago…but I want it adjacent to my existing farm (not a new one). It’s like another expansion but instead of exceeding the 24 x 24 land area, why not allow us farmers to acquire another 24 x 24 lot next to our farms? any ideas of expansion would be acceptable as long as it’s not a “fresh start”.

i am not sure that i want more land.my farm barely loads as it is. i deleted all hay bales and half the trees and half the animals and STILL no real improvement on loading times. I would rather have improved game play over more land personally.

I contacted customer service at Zynga and they are looking into the loading bar issue. Has anyone else had their problems resolved? It is only affecting my main account so the problem is on their end.

Do not add another expansion as this will clog up the servers more and make more loading/ playing issues!!! but another farm would be sooo good!, one just for crops to get masterys etc.. and another for animals/ decorations..bring it on =D

I just wanted to respond that, no, I did not fake this, and the “Kansas” part has to do with the URL (web address) that the ad linked to, it had something about Kansas land in it. But as we know, FV often renames items somewhere in their creative process but keeps their old URLs (the server backend bits), and sometimes things have odd names that are not used in-game or that do not necessarily apply. For instance, “Spring eggs” were actually easter eggs, ducks and goats are still “cows” in the URL, and there are more examples but I forgot. Lol.
Anyway, it’s so funny that the other FV websites picked this up and even *used my screenshot* (I know because of my screen font customizations) with no credit to me or FV Freak… ah well.

english theme would be great we’ve got some fab farm land here in the uk, as for a second farm all ready got one hit level 70 on my main farm back at christmas and got board so started another a couple of months ago at level 45 on that one so expansion would be better for me

I go for the one Farm expansion as I allready made an extra Farm (Field) of my own to jump in while doing Jobs, its 18×18 now, I collect nothing there, share nothinh from there, it has no feed (not in FB, not in FV… nowhere). It’s fully plowed as its only function is to be an extension for my Moska Farm… Said that if we could link two farms so the proceeds would be counted as one that would be an all different ballgame

for those having trouble logging into your farms, it happened to me yesterday and somebody from the zynga forum suggested to delete a neighbor then ask that neighbor to add you again then accept the invite.. surprisingly, it worked for me. hope it helps you too..

I think both would be great, but agree with the writer that said it would need to be set up so that we could move crops, animals, etc between the two of them.
BTW, whatever happened to the “Farmville II” idea?
Chief complaint- lock ups or slow downs in performance of the game, can’t get into full screen, can’t maintain full screen to fertilize, and game appears to freeze or something and won’t give to the chance for ridding weeds, gophers, etc to get the XP points, even though you can see them on the screen. Wierd!. Oh, and the Farmville game bar is really clunky- if you don’t want a particular gift, ti won’t skip over and continue with what else is avialable. Frustrates me to the point of wanting to use those “cheat” type ones, but haven’t done so. Just wish they’d improve the one we’ve already got!

i already have a second farm.. and 2 more spots down two sides isnt gonna “fix” anything for “room to breathe” on MY farm.. i’ve got 200 things in storage that would more than take up the “new space” i’d easy fill a 30×30 and not think twice just with the stuff in storage.. let alone anything “new” they keep bringing out.. how about not bringin somethin new out every week for us to use to “decorate” and bring out a new size farm for the next two months every other week? (that’d be 4 expansions, people)… i MAY even be willing to pay farmcash for those. yep. .you heard it. i’d PAY to get more room.. and i dont mean stupid coins. i’d be willing to pay 50 REAL MONEY to get a full 310 farmcash and put 300 of it so i could get at least to a 30×30. AT LEAST!

I’d really like having a bigger farm, but it needs to keep growing. I mean 26X26 is OK for starters, but I’d like it to get a lot bigger. I’d like to go 40×40 if possible…. maybe 60×60… the bigger the better. I mean eventually, and all could be bought with coins… admittedly a lot of coins. i’d say each expansion should cost 500,000 to 1,000,000 coins. I don’t think we need to have to increase friends past a hundred though, because that’s just too confusing for most people. Plus the way the browser acts up when you fertilize other farms would be quite unbearable for more than a hundred times. How many times would we have to delete temporary internet files, just to get through it.
If they CAN”T do that then two farms would be cool, but I think one big farm would be better. I also think we need more expansions for the chicken coops or be able to have two. Same for nursary barns, and stable. We all have animals stacked on top of animals, decorations piled around, and mostly we have to pick between farming land and decorations.
Also on behalf of people who reach 70th level… they need something to work towards and look forwards to… so why not let them get the Biggest land possible.

A second farm would be nice, but would be nicer if you could transfer items from your current farm to it. Would be a real pain to start all over again. Let us move stuff from farm to farm. What cha think?

FV was stolen from Farm Town, I am moving there cus there are NO Glitches, U can have 4 Farms, Fuel is free, & live interaction with other farmers, UNLIMITED POSSIBILITIES, NO REAL MONEY is needed for most anything….

why does no one ever listen when people repeatedly tell them that the reason that Zyanga hasn’t increased the size of farms so far is that the 24 x 24 is the biggest size that Flash ( which Farmville is created in) can support. The only way to have more land would be to have a second farm….

don’t know how much more I can play farmville without more land. I don’t want to get rid of the things I worked hard to acquire, but without more room, I can’t get more things, even though I work for them because there is NOWHERE to put them!!

On the game Social City, they have different grids attached to your main city, kinda like suburbs. You can click on an icon in your main city to travel to the others. I wonder if it will be like that in farm ville. I’d rather have more land on my farm because I have 10,000,000+ coins but can’t buy anything because I have no space to put it.

I have been wanting / needing more land for what seems like MONTHS!! As soon as you get a land expansion you want to spread out a little & that takes up all the new land you just got….
I’d really like to see a land expansion that gives the next level of your farm 30 x 30; something a little bigger than 26 x 26. I really need extra room for all the things that are not crops!!
A lot of people seem to like the idea of a second farm. I’m not sure about that. I think it will take up more of my time than just a much larger farm where I already am. And let’s face it, one farm takes up plenty of time EVERY day……

As a true blooded Farm-boy, Simple, need Farmland in different locations, because we have acreages all over and you have to watch those crops. What would be nice is to gain xp or mastery by rotating crops. Rotating beans, then corn, then beans helps the nitrogen levels in the ground and creates better growing crops the next year. 2nd, we need an area for our house, barns, animals, dogs to run, and all the little things that make a homestead (bbq, hot tub, swimming pool, etc.). If you have an area to make a Farmville (town) where you could have your post office, you’re farmville co-op that you can sell you’re crops at different prices (that could fluxuate at different times if possible) and Grain Silos that can actually store grain and can sell at certain time if needed would be awesome. Just an FYI, we need a Hog barn that has an outside fence for the pigs and a building for them to be stored in. Another Seeded Item to add is Sweet Corn (to sell at farmer’s market, etc.) Because there’s a different between seed corn and sweet corn. And where is the Ford/Toyota Truck? A true farmer needs a truck.

Going along with what Brandino said (#154), it would be good toi have a second area.. one for the actual growing of crops and farm animals and the other area for the ‘outside the farm’. hence buildings like the Shamrock Inn and Castle, Post office, Villas, Cottages, even the market to sell goods… afterall its not just about farms alone this game.. it’s called farmville as in farming village.

I am so looking forward to more land for my farm in Farmville here. But the idea of having a second farm is even more appealing to me. I’ve noticed alot when signing on to my farm & going to the market that big ole plantation pops up very briefly & says $30 farm cash the it disappears so I wish they wld do something soon with out land issues! Please!!
