FarmVille Lexilicious on Cottage Size Change
With Tuesday’s FarmVille Updates, Cottages and the Greenhouse became smaller. No notice was given about the size reduction or why. Many of you were concerned about the change and were wondering what happened.
FarmVille Community Manager, Lexilicous addresses the issue below:
“Hey guys,
Sorry for the delay, things have been a little crazy around here.
I finally managed to get some information from the developers about this issue.
The cottages being shrunk was not an intentional change. We will be reverting the cottages back to their original size very soon.
Please know that when the cottages return to normal size, any items you may have placed next to them might get overlapped.
If this happens, simply move your cottage and you will be able to access the items underneath it.
Should there be any additional information you need to be aware of, I will make sure to let you know.
Thanks for your patience, everyone.”

Wowwww, I’m so pleased! I hope this is true! I really do. Everything needs to look proportionate or else the whole thing just looks stupid. I think expanding the farms is the key. Also, I really need storage capacity expanded. I don’t get why you can’t max over 100. Anyway, I’ll be so pleased to see the homes back to normal. Terrific!

this is good, however, I have already redone everything around my cottages so it didnt look funny. ahhh well, i will redo it again when they go back to the size they were!

Yeah – I have to redo the surrounding of my cottages too. I’d rather not be bothered by it. I posted something akin to this subject weeks ago on the forums and most thought I was crazy, cuz the size would change back to it’s original. Currently the White Cat and Provincal Pot II are dwarfing the windows in the Maison. What’s that about?
and to comment #8 – I’m getting really tired of certain things too – The Comment box, fuel pop up in full screen mode, pop up for fertilizing when you’re still planting and the ability to see that it will take me at this current rate it will take me 300 days to get the “horse power” blue ribbon.

I won’t mind at all having to rearrange things again when the original sizes come back. I liked the original sizes better than the little playhouses that we have now. Glad they are fixing the glitch.

Hey speaking about sizing…. I have 2 Gynormous Eiffel Towers and NO mini tower. Do you think Zynga could resize one of those? Just a thought.

Oh boy, I was just going to bed, more work to do, as I’m very anal about this kinda thing! hahaha
The decos were NOT fitting the size of the buildings….just looked stupid. I’m so glad to find out here that they have fixed this issue. Yippeeee! More work!

They should better leave the cottages and resise the maison !!!! Why don’t they listen.I thought that they resised the cottage so they don’t had to resice the maison. But then the patiserie came and that was even bigger then the castle.Why don’t they pay attention to this.I’m getting fed up with Farmville.

Yea…I liked the smaller size too. I actually got the picket fences and a light post to fit in-between them …looks real nice, too! Please put em back to the smaller size….
