With tonight’s release, there seems to be a new collection in town!
The FarmVille Lightning Collection teasers are as seen below. However, this feature does not seem to be “live” as of yet, as it cannot be found with the other existing Collection sets and no farmers are reporting finding any Lighting collectibles.

Check the “lightning” tab under collections – there are two tabs now. It’s a gemstone collection.

I only had the tab when I clicked on the little teaser. It looks like the things are going to cost FV$.

The collection tab was removed.
“The Lightning Collections were supposed to go live today as a preview to let you know it was coming. The full “ON” switch was accidentally pushed instead of the “Preview” switch, and then quickly turned off after the update went live.”
It cost 67 FC$ to buy the entire collection.. :l

New Lighning Collection , are gems. The 6 are Diamond, Emerald, Topaz, Amethyst, Turquoise and Ruby, Reward is gemtrophy

I bought the new mystery game for $20 FVCash only to find that I needed to pay $20 FVCash for every balloon I wanted to pop. That was not explained in the beginning so I wasted $20. what a rip off!!

I had the tab for while. Although you can buy the gem with FVs, when you put your mouse on it it said that you can find the gems planting seeds.

I saw the teaser. Clicked it and it said you could find items while planting. No new collections were available when I checked that….so obviously a teaser.

I was able to buy one of everyone for 10FV Cash. But then it was gone again. The 10 FV cash is missing from my account but the lightning is once again gone

Wish they would just make it easier to find the collectibles that we already have. Fertilized 25 farms the other night and not a one and only 2 eggs. Where is the brass button? Never have seen one and it is suppose to be common! This is why people have stopped playing. Out of the 25 friends I fertilized only 3 farms were planted. You can’t tell me they were all on vacation. The Newsfeed is very boring these days and it is so hard for new players to get stuff for their farm and prosper. I am beginning to think the FV department at Zynga is full of flakes!

im getting sicker of this game by the day.
FV cash this and that,it’s becoming a money game and nothing more.
I HAVE NOT PAID ONE RED CENT and when it comes down to having to pay to play…IM DONE.
Lame games,stupid animals that would not EXIST on a farm…it’s a mystery why anyone falls for your hogwash.
I know im not the only one who feels this way.
Thanks Zynga for taking the fun out of FV.

If you’re playing a lame game with stupid animals, then you’re just as lame and just as stupid. Where I find it annoying that everything does cost FVC, I still understand Caroline’s point. What I find REALLY annoying is that ****ing Zynga makes every promotion U.S.A. only. I mean, around 70-80% of every continent would have countries that have at least 10 7-11s in them. (Depends on size of country). I mean, in Australia, and H.K. (China), there’s about a 7-11 on every corner. And about 70% of these FV players would go there and buy a slushie. Yet Zynga is TOO lazy to spread this worldwide. Same with promos.

This has appeared and disappeared from my collection section a few times: (also the collections are out of the normal order)
Lightening collection:
Topaz (1 FV cash)
Amethyst (1 FV Cash)
…Turquoise (1 fv cash)
Ruby (2 FV Cash)
Emerald (2 FV Cash)
Diamond (3 FV Cash)
This is on a separate section on main page (much like storage expansions) and there are 2 additional blocked out “coming soon”

2. as mentioned by a previous poster Zynga is a business needs to earn money
3. i live in the UK but still played the 7-11 promotion by buying codes of ebay for around £1-£2 in the end i got 200FV and loads of gifts
4.earn farm cash filling in surveys at http://www.gamepoints.com a official site promoted by zynga
5. Please stop sending any more of that stupid Tuscan stuff
6. I reckon more companies should get involved (more worldwide companies) i.e mcdonalds i.e. some sort of potato crop game, or a cow promotion etc

Hi got a Topaz as a gift from a friend, clicked “use” and is said it went into my GemStone Collection, but I do not have that collection on my screen. No tabs, either. Wonder where it went and how my friend was able to send it???

I was gifted an amethyst… “used” it from my gift box – it has disappeared. It did say it went to the gemstone collection but I see no such collection!

Same happened to me this morning….I was gifted a Topaz, it went into my collectibles, I opened it and it showed me the “gemstone collection” under a lightening tab. When I went back to it, it was all gone….

I had the lightening collectible show up in my collectibles just long enough to see what was in it. They are all gem stones and I already have several of the rare and uncommons. They all say find while planting? I also noticed that if u want to buy a gem stone each one costs 1FV cash. When I returned to my farm, the lightening collectible was on longer there.

I was fertilizing a friend’s farm and I found a collection item. I clicked on the x of the box that appeared telling me what item I found. This loaded the collection box screen and it showed the lightning collection screen. I took a screen shot of the box that shows you can buy the gems for FV cash. When I clicked on how does this work the box just disappeared and nothing happened. Here is the collection box, there seems two more things coming soon

Ok when i started playing fv in Janurary it was fun and addicting but in the last couple of months it has become a bigger pain then it is woth playing.. Always something going wrong and it never gets a permanant fix before the next”your farm has been enhanced” comes out and most of us are enhanced right out of fv, Could we please fix this stuff before we try to come up with something new please. You are really losing the interest of some of your dedicated players. Sure you have to pay your help but please remember that some dont have a job and it is a way to help keep their minds off the troubles in their life and basically it is free. We do need to find a way to give a little more fv cash out and fuel but the players dont have to be greedy either just like we hope Zynga wont get greedy and want money for a very popular game even though it is us who made it that way. As for the lightning teaser it will be back in due time I guess

Believe it or not, I have all the gems, but one each xcept ruby, and emerald. I bought the Diamond 1 time, and still waiting for other neighbors to click on the links in my notes to get more gems. Thanks to a secret poster.

I was sent amethyst as a gift from a friend, but that’s all I have so far. Be patient everyone. This is new, and I’m sure we’ll find more gems as time goes on. I do have to add a ditto on the crafting cottages comment. When are we ever getting those?

the gems are there,,,you need to collect a certain amount of each one 3 of them call for you to collect 10 each and then 2 call for you to collect 7 each and 1 calls for you to collect 3 , in order to see your collection you click on the little box that appears over your friends on your farmville when you find a collectible they show up there click on them and you will see a lightening tab click that you will see your collectibles there, after you get the number of gems for each call for you will then get your trophy. you get them by planting seeds i found 2 when i planted the organic blueberries. so why fuss over it just enjoy the game……..

Lame collection! You need more collectibles than any of the others and you don’t get any fuel! You get LESS than you get for completing a regular collection.

I am fed up with the gemstone collection. As far as I know all my neighbours have completed it and got the trophy, but each time I seed I’m interupted 3 or 4 times by finding gemstones and being asked to gift them. I ignore the option to gift to specific people when that comes up, but I do put them on the news feed when that option is available. I often add a note to ask if anybody is still collecing them, but have only had one reply (she got the lot ever after).

what’s funny is the “diamonds” that are under “rare” aren’t so rare… I was unable to finish the collection because I didn’t have enough amethysts… i had more diamonds than any other gem. whatever.. what u get besides a trophy? any decoration or anything?
