FarmVille Limited Edition Autumn Collection: Chieften Gnome

We have a feeling that a lot of FarmVille Freak Gnome collectors will not be happy about this one because neither were we.
Since we saw the Chieftain Gnome (Chieften according to FarmVille, but we think it must be a spelling error) as an unreleased item featured on FarmVille Freak, we knew that we had to have it. Now that’s it’s been released we’re sad to learn that having it will cost everyone much more than the usual 12-15 Farm Cash that FarmVille Gnomes usually cost. The Chieftain Gnome is an exclusive prize as part of participating and purchasing specifically selected items from a new FarmVille Autumn Collection showcase.
To get the Gnome you will have to purchase specific items featured in the Autumn Showcase, meaning that if you want this Gnome to be yours you’ll have to spend the Farm Cash even if you don’t like the other items that much. Terrible.
What do you think, FarmVille Freaks? Will you participate and purchase items from the Autumn Collection showcase to get this Gnome as a bonus prize? How do you feel about it when you see items that you love to collect featured as exclusive Showcase prizes?

It’s the only gnome that I have seen that I like. But it that is the case. Then they can keep it. Seems like the only thing they think about now is farm cash. Hey remember they are coins also and we would like something to spend them on !

I would have bought this one as a stand alone item, I’m not spending so much on items I don’t even want, to get one that I do.

As a gnome collector, this is enough to make me quit playing. Zynga has been making an assault on our pocketbooks by releasing gnomes where you have to pay FVC to complete quests or buy unwanted items for your farms. Am about to be a former gnome collector and former farmer. How about a Good-Bye Gnome and I know just what gesture he would be making.

As much as I would love to have this little guy he won’t be anywhere on my farms. I’d pay for him but I’m not going to be forced to buy a whole collection to get him. And what’s up with all the Christmas items being on sale now—and for such limited time periods? It’s still November!!!

I only collect the gnomes that look like gnomes. not the one that look like regualar people. No white beard? I dont’ buy it so this isn’t a loss for me.

The other annoying thing about this is that the collection that you’d have to purchase to get it is absolutely weak. It’s one of the most boring collections I’ve seen in quite a while. I really, really, really wanted this gnome, because I have the female Native American gnome already, but there’s no way I could justify paying FV cash for stuff that I’m going to immediately put into storage and never take out.

Relax everyone… Just wait until next year and it will be re-released as a simple quest item, or for coins or at the very worst FV cash.

Zynga is making it easier and easier to walk away from this game. Nothing but aggravation and a waste of precious time lately. If they heard all the comments that I get from friends and neighbors, they would seriously consider stopping all of this madness.
My neighbors are disgusted with the pressure to complete all those quests. The cost of items being released at record speed every week is another complaint. Too many items that cost too much compared to the way things used to be. And to complete quests on time, you are almost forced to buy more Cove land. Everyone can see that Zynga is pushing for money in a big way. You have no idea of how many neighbors I have lost over the past several months. At first I thought, well…they should just stick it out and things will get better, but I see no end in sight and things are getting worse.
So…Fire the techs at Zynga and get someone who knows how to do things the right way! Those making decisions and trying to market this game to death is only going to make everyone quit! Enough is enough!
