FarmVille Limited Edition Ireland Animals: Irish Hunter Horse & Kerry Cow

In a strange Friday evening update, FarmVille introduced two new Limited Edition Ireland animals, an Irish Hunter Horse and a Kerry Cow into the FarmVille Market.
The Irish Hunter Horse can produce an Irish Hunter Foal when placed into your FarmVille Horse Stable. Traditionally, the Irish Hunter is a naturally athletic horse that can be used for all types of purposes. The breed especially excels at competition events such as jumping and is famous for its fox hunting capabilities. Read more about this interesting breed by clicking here.
The Kerry Cow also can produce its own similar type offspring, the Kerry Calf, when placed into your FarmVille Dairy Farms. The Kerry Cow is native to Ireland is a very rare breed of dairy cattle. There was thought to be only 200 Kerry Cows in the 1980s. They are known for their all black coats and for being one of the oldest breeds of cattle in Europe. The Ireland theme is part of the English Countryside, but these animals can be purchased for either of your farms. They are available using Farm Cash only via the FarmVille Market and are set to retire on June 16th 2011.

Darn, I need to figure out how I can come up with enough real GREEN to get 148 in FV Bucks so I can get the new expansion AND both of these neat farm animals. . . . it ain’t fair I tell ya, specially when I got so many coins amassed!

I got 3 for free and I am thankful as that is quite possibly the ugliest horse yet and I would be so mad if I paid farm cash for it lol even tho I would since i am a horse collector

I got 3 of the horses as gifts! THAT rocks… at least.
Now what Zynga? What about all the complaints your patrons give about breeding horses? Ooooohhh…. look! People are totally going to FLIP OUT when they find a lot of us got this horse FREE, while they all paid 26 farm cash for them.

The Irish horse was showing up on the “free gifts” page for everyone to see. If you send gifts from that page to your neighbors daily, you would have seen it here right out in plain sight, lol. I saw it and right away thought HMMMM, THAT’S a NEW ONE! I shall be the first one to send to my friends, unknowingly. I had not seen it was a new horse in the market, but did assume it was one of those Limeted time items. Got a few returned as thank yous. Personally, I think it’s a beautiful horse and am glad to have them in my collection. Funny thing is, you could not SEE an image of the horse on the gift page, lol. It just said “Irish Horse” but the image was blank. The image was also blank while in my giftbox, and it was blank when I placed the horse on my farm. Wasn’t until later last night when I came back on to finally see this beautiful horse standing there tapping it’s hoove! So that was a nice surprise. I had my doubts that it would even be there at all. If it hadn’t been there, no loss, since it was a gift.

That’s not entirely correct. They were on the gifts page, but not very long. I happened to have a friend that told me to get online and send and receive them. To state that anyone that sent gifts daily would have seen it, is incorrect. I sent out my limit, and received 12 back. They were on the gift page less than an hour.
