Tonight marks the third installment of the FarmVille Mystery Game. This Mystery Game features new prizes (see spoiler below).
You can play this Mystery Game by accesssing it via the FarmVille Market. This game will be available during the next 7 days only. Each play will cost 20 FV$.
Mystery Games yield exclusive prizes that you cannot get anywhere else. However, like Mystery Boxes, playing a Mystery Game is a gamble at your own risk as you are not guaranteed any one specific prize.

The mystery game is okay but since it doesn’t count towards my mystery gift ribbon there is no reason to play it. Bring back the mystery boxes so I can spend my cash to get my ribbon

U CANT SEE THE PRIZE U WANT TO GET,, UNLESS U THROW THE DART. it’s obvious that zynga did not see the needs of the player. they give all the games. but less in farmville dollar. it’s really hard to player to earn fv dollar, u are only gain 1 dollar every level. it’s sad.

I agree with Louise Olson…..if you don’t buy farm cash you don’t get any of the nicer items. More and more stuff that is added to Farmville is for $$ and I refuse to pay to play a “free game”.

I use to play these pretty much on a weekly basis…..passing again for 3rd week in a row. Sigh. Oh well…lots of other cool stuff released. Love the New England theme.

I’m with Airic ~ how are we supposed to get mystery box ribbon now? And price is up to 20 farm cash, I thought 16 was a lot on a gamble. I admit these are pretty nice gifts, but if I get any more buildings i will not have crops…I’m in Stuffville, not Farmville! Not worth the risk since i also only like the angora goat

You know I am very sick and tired of people complaining every week about having to pay to play a game. If you don’t want to pay then don’t play. You want everything for Free! Well it takes manpower and money to make these games. You think that by some magic a new horse or cottage is just invented no someone spent time creating that horse. How must to pay each month to eat crappy food like chips or how much do you spend to watch a movie from Block Buster or go to the movies. Take that wasted money and put it to good use of a game that you get months of enjoyment out of.

The game just refreshed and I saw in the marketplace, Big Ole Plantation for 140FV$, then it refreshed for an update again and PooF! that was no longer offered in the marketplace. By the way, it only had 2 days left on it. I know this wasnt offered before the two updates, so what gives?

I absolutely agree with D_is4_Dawson!!!! I am so tired of the complaining. Stop playing and do something if you are unhappy with the game. Sometimes I spend money, sometimes I don’t. Quite ruining the fun for other people. Also Sarah, yes you can get the same thing more than once. Just like the old mystery boxes. Luck of the draw.

I was skeptical at first but played and in 4 turns got the Beach Cottage, the Ornate Cottage, the new Carriage, and the Angora Sheep. All neat stuff. I just got the 200 farm cash for doing the 7-11 stuff, so it was fun to spend it and get neat stuff in return~!

So how does this really differ from the Mystery box??? You still don’t get a choice or anything. You play and get the very thing you don’t want and your stuck with that horrible stupid feeling of, “why did I waste my FV$’s on that. Don’t mind spending real cash from time to time, but don’t like being disappointed when I do.

I also agree with D_is4_Dawson! I just don’t get why people continue to play the game when all they do is complain about it. Farmville has been releasing plenty of nice FV coin items. So obviously they are trying” to cater to all of their needy players. Of course people complain they are too expensive..but then you’re obviously not playing the game right then. The mystery box game is a gamble and you’re not forced to play it…I don’t get what the big deal is? I’ve played a few times and have got really cool items and other ones that I could go without. But that’s part of the game. If you play a game for xbox..or say The Sims..that costs real money. Then you have to buy expansion packs. It’s the same thing!

Ok, prizes are something you WIN for FREE, not something you pay for. These are just mystery boxes, dressed up as balloons. I like the goat, but what are the chances I’ll get one first try? Zynga just loves to extort that money out of us, don’t they? Call it a balloon, so we can charge 20 cash instead of the usual 16…man, I’m getting tired of this…this Freak is getting to be fed up.

I think if it counted towards the ribbon, I would play to see if I could get one of the buildings…those are cute (wish we could have bought them for coins, but that’s always a wishful unfulfilled thought). Even though the goat is cute, I’d prefer not to spend 16 or 20 fv cash on it. Guess we’ll see what next week brings…
and I have to say, I don’t mind the complaining either (the profanity I can do w/o, even though I can swear like a longshoreman when I wish
) but what really frosts my cookie is those who reprimand the complainers. That’s what happens on most forums and messge boards…people complain. Get used to it.And frankly, we all have someone IRL who tells us to stop complaining…I am sure they don’t need someone in cyber-world to do so, too

I find it amusing that people whine about spending money on FV cash. I got $200 FV cash for free, from the 7-11 thing. All I had to do is buy a few things, receive a few things, and now I have more FV $ than I need. But I use it wisely, not on garbage like this mystery game.

I just have one thing to say, STOP COMPLAINING!!! You people are big babys, if you don’t like the prizes just ignore them. I do agree that they need better ways to get FV$, but if they give it out like free candy their company would go under. Honestly I don’t think that we want that to happen, because I am pretty sure we all love playing farmville (cause we are on a website about the releases and news about the game). And about the mystery game they are probably going to release a new ribbon just for that like the hay barrels.

I wont be taking part in this game as i don’t want any of the prizes offered, i think it healthy to complain if that what you want to do ( without the swearing as wel do have some young readers on here ) because as stated earlier that is what a forum is all about , people sharing their options but for those who have comment about about all the fv cash they got from the 7 – 11 promotion please bear in mind this was only available to those in the united states and canada so lots of us missed out on that, i live in england and i have been playing and paying for this game for some time now and agree that sometime i look at items and think ” how can they charge that much for that item “, i don’t mind buying fv cash but for some its not an option so i can totally understand why they feel a little let down when they can only earn 1 fv note per level, it would be nice if they could find a way of increasing the amount of fv cash offered to players ( even if it in the form of a free to enter prise draw with say 10,000 winner per week/month to win say 50 fv notes ) or maybe an exchange where you could exchange coins for fv notes…….i guess we will just have to wait and see but it is worth bearing in mind that ( although rare ) you can still get 1 FV note out of the free mystery boxes and by keeping an eye out for offers in the boxes below the game screen window as some of them are easy cash

What I do like that zynga did is take away the option to send the mystery game to friends. What people started doing was sending the mystery box and other items to themselves without buying farmcash. They would do it by creating a new account which gives you 5 farmcash to start then people would install the game bar which gives you 10 farmcash. After that a quick level up to 16 or 20 farmcash. People could also get 3 farmcash from the stimulus pack. People were doing this process over and over mostly for the mystery box. I noticed that some of my friends for a couple of months were getting every mystery item within hours after the box was released which was strange because they had never bought mystery boxes before. But after they started the mystery game and took away the option to send they stopped buying completely.

I like the Mystery game. Last weeks was better. I won two black stallions and one each of the other prizes. This week July 28, not so much. I like the mill (sort of) but won’t play this time. With the last set of Mystery boxes, or one before, I got all kinds of buildings at 1/2 to 2/3 less than the market place price. The stallion is nice and produces foals. Gotta buy Farmville dollars to get the most of the game. Give up a take out meal, or a few coffees and have some fun.

Zynga sucks, some got the black stallion through the nursery for free, they should stick to this if they are honest people, but they are not, so other people now have to buy it for cash through mystery games plus they might get something els and never black stallion. sucks sucks sucks

so i played the mystery game last week because i got a free offer at the bottom at my screen…..i played an got the rarest thing u could get (a stone pool) and it was completley free…i didnt have to pay like ppl are complaining about!
