I agree with Dar – if it at least makes it easier to grow them to “adults” that would be awesome. I never have enough watering cans and I have probably over 100 mystery seedlings!!!!

about time they came up with something for growing seedlings, now if they only make an automated orchard harvester….lol

Only cool if we can have more than one per farm. One baby nursery helped me so very little on a farm where I have hundreds of babies. Taking 40 out (max capacity of my baby nursery) did not help that much…. My issue is more of a space issue. I have hundreds of seedlings too…. putting only 40 in a “building” doesn’t help that much.

I hope they add a sell option once you grow it otherwise it will add a step by having to take them out to sell them

I always have a stack of seedlings to grow up, so anything that speeds it up is a bonus!
I agree with Debra – the BIGGEST time saver would be an automatic orchard harvester, like a super Arborist or something. I have hundreds of orchards and it takes ages to harvest them all.

One benefit I really like is that once you grow it, it goes in to your giftbox; perfect for when the tree fits in to the motif for farms that don’t have shipping licenses. Otherwise, the instant you find out what the seedling became, it is too late to move it!
Handy stratagy: if I am running low on water, I can use the SDB2s for growing seedlings from my own orchards for trees I am breeding to master, and use the watering cans to grow seedling in the nursery without having to place the tree.

It looks like we would be going back to 10 waters per seedling, instead of the 8 water, we use now. That’s not progress, that’s a step back! How is that faster? The only good thing I can see, is it saves some room. BTW ….for a short time it was faster to plant seedlings (1 after another with few interruptions). I didn’t have to go back to my gift box for each one. Why did that end. I have a lot of orchards and trees, that give me lots of seedlings. To go to my gift box for each seedling is a long, tiresome chore! Thnx for letting me vent.
