FarmVille Bee Keeper Ribbon |
Tonight FarmVille introduced a new Bee Keeper Ribbon achievement.
This ribbon works with your FarmVille Beehives. Now whenever you harvest your Beehive you now have a chance at collecting Fertilize All. Yes, the Beehives have been upgraded with Fertilize All rewards! Each time you receive a Fertilize All from your Beehive it will count towards earning the Bee Keeper ribbons. A ribbon that works similar to this is the Horse Power ribbon that coincides with finding 100 XP from your Horse Stable.

“Yes, the Beehives have been upgraded with Fertilize All rewards!”
Er, that’s been around for *ages*. The ribbon is new, I’ll grant, but the Fertilize All from the beehive is not new… It’s why I had like 30 of them saved up :S

I’ll admit the Fertilize Alls in combination with using bushels is a great way to level up fast. Now that I’m almost done with the rest of my ribbons, I have another one to finish. joy.

That’s cool, I get a lot of “my bees pollinated your crop” things, bout time it counted to something…and I can alway use “fertilize” for my crops!

About time we get some incentive from the Bee Hive!!! Good Deal!!!!!
Posted on December 7th, 2010 at 11:03 pm
@Jezzy – we used to get the fertilize alls when we first logged in to our farm. Now, presumably, we can get them when we harvest our beehive…like how we can get 100 XP, arborists or farmhands from the horse stable.

sold mine ages ago, hated it, thought it was a waste of planting space, guess I’ll have to get the darn thing back.

another stupid stupid upgrade while the platform STILL sucks ass and is NOT fixed yet. idiots.
Posted on December 7th, 2010 at 11:08 pm
That´s good, I was thinking to erase this item but now…. I don´t tink so!!!

add me

I have had 200 bees for a while and have never received a “Fertilize All”. It’s about time we got something other than pollinated crops while we are on the last harvest before mastery. That thing took forever to build and gives a few coins. Meh, just crabby! LOL!
Posted on December 7th, 2010 at 11:13 pm
While harvesting, I always got extra XP when I found polinated seeds because of my beehive, I thought that made it worth while on its own. Its nice to get my own fertilizer now instead of getting the pop ups when I visit my neighbor’s farms!
Posted on December 7th, 2010 at 11:14 pm
Will we still find Fertilze All’s on our neighbors farms?
and…..New Feature added…and still…..waiting on the TBD Coin Land Expansion…..
Posted on December 7th, 2010 at 11:16 pm
I can’t believe they keep adding new items and still haven’t released the expansion for coins. I would love to decorate my farm with some of the new Christmas buildings, etc, but if I spend the FV$ for the expansion, then I will have none for the decorations, so what is the point. I am refusing to buy anything with FV$ until they release the expansion for coins!

It’s news to me that you can get a fertilize all from your beehives…I’ve never gotten one….but a reward for doing it might make keeping them worthwhile….
Posted on December 7th, 2010 at 11:20 pm
I LOVE USING THE FERTILIZED SEEDS ALWAYS LOTS OF EXTRA XP’S WHICH IS ALWAYS GOOD!!! HAVE TONS OF FERTILIZE ALL BUT DO LOVE THOSE SEEDS!!! WISH I COULD GET SOME FROM MY NEIGHBORS FOR CROPS I HAVEN’T MASTERED YET WHICH AT THIS POINT ISN’T VERY MANY!!!

So this is why my hive stopped giving me fertilize All every couple of days. I imagine this will be a long slog like the Stable was, easy going to Red then miserly for months.
Does anyone know whether the bags of extra fertilizer from the Dairy have been killed or if they will be coming back in some new incarnation.
Posted on December 7th, 2010 at 11:25 pm
that would be great. what would also be great is the 27 ‘fertilize all’ that I had in my gift box until TODAY when this new ribbon came out to reappear in my gift box. why is it whenever they change something they make something else screw up?
Posted on December 7th, 2010 at 11:29 pm
Great, now I have a ribbon to get! I finished them all the other day thanks to the candy cane crop.
Posted on December 7th, 2010 at 11:40 pm
I haven’t gotten a fertilize all from my beehive in over a month! I hope they fix this…
Posted on December 7th, 2010 at 11:57 pm
what would really be nice is if farmville fixed all the problems with missing stuff and out of sync issues but it is cool that there is another ribbon to complete
Posted on December 8th, 2010 at 12:03 am
I have never gotten a Fertilize All from the Beehive. I am lucky to pick one up off the home page. Coming from the Beehive will be great. Anything to get a few more faster. Nice to have them on hand. You just have to remember to use them after planting. LOL Great
Posted on December 8th, 2010 at 12:11 am
@martha – obviously you dont visit your neighbours farms too often to fertilize there, coz if you DID, you’d know you frequently get a fertilize all from your neighbours, then you get the option to share and that how you find em in the feed on the home page

The new ribbon is nice, but I wish they would have released our Holiday Tree instead.
Posted on December 8th, 2010 at 12:25 am
YES !!!!!!!! <3
Posted on December 8th, 2010 at 12:58 am
The bees don’t ‘fly off’ anymore, right?
Posted on December 8th, 2010 at 2:18 am
The plan was to finish playing this game when I got all my blue ribbons and mastered all crops (not trees, because that’s insane). Now they release another ribbon that, like the stable ribbon, depends upon the good graces of FV as to whether or not you can ever finish the ribbon. If I get a fertilize all EVERY DAY, then it’s still 3 and a half months before I can finish the ribbon. Stupid. And to all of you Zynga apologists who tell me I should just be happy cause its free and no one is making me play, you people have no imagination. Come up with some other line. You add nothing to the conversation.

How about the Fertilize All you find at your nayb’s farm?
Posted on December 8th, 2010 at 6:23 am
The requrements for this ribbon are too high. Very rarely get a fertilize all from the hive. Even 25 would be high. Come on Zynga, give us a little hope of someday getting these ribbons.
Posted on December 8th, 2010 at 6:27 am
I harvest my beehive every day. I had the hive since it was first released. I have never received a Fertilize All from my hive. Zynga has too many different versions of the same program out. Every server has a different version of FV. This will never get out of BETA.

That’s really nice that they are giving away a fertilize all… Will the stored ones in our gift box count toward the ribbon??..Also It would be nice if I would have got the little barn that appeared on everyone’s farm to join in the workshop quest… It really sucks!
Posted on December 8th, 2010 at 10:35 am
Wow, a new ribbon…SHAME WE CAN’T GET ON TO START WORKING TOWARDS IT!
Posted on December 8th, 2010 at 2:16 pm
In typical fashion, farmville ****s on players and releases ribbons 6 months later, and will most likely not include your past work in doing so.
*ahem chickens*

I am glad to hear that the beehive will have a larger impact on our game. I have often wondered why the honey we gather is not used in some of the recipes for the Bakery, Winery and Spa. We need some new recipes. It is becoming boring making the same things over and over. The requirements are so high to master each dish, I am getting to where I don’t care if I master them or not. Just a thought.

Well, I saw the beekeeper ribbon so I guess I will now have to pay attention to the hive. I built it a long time ago, but never did anything with it because the bees kept flying away.
Could someone point me to a guide on farmville bee keeping or answer a few questions for me?
I know you first have to have a queen and then you can get bees from your friends. Once you get 200 bees you have the chance to get a fertilize all. (so far so good?)
According to what I have read, I need to tend my hive everyday to keep the bees there and happy. Do I also need to make sure I have flower crops growing? If so, how many plots do I need to dedicate to flowers to keep them all happy?
Thanks so much for reading and answering!

@ JustJennifer
You got it. Except I notice that my bees have not flown away in a long time (maybe that pesky feature was disabled?)
Also no need to plant flowers for your bees, them bees are happy to pollinate EVERYTHING!.

@Jam Down Farmer
Thanks for the info! But here is a strange thing for you. I have 2 queen bees sitting in my gift box, but none in my hive. I was waiting for the Christmas present rush to be over before I asked friends for honeybees. So my hive is absolutely empty. And yet, somehow today I got my yellow ribbon?!
Works for me! Although I will build up my hive later on, maybe in January.
Thanks again,
JustJennifer
