FarmVille Nursery: New Adult Animals
| Posted on Fri ,28/05/2010 by FarmVille Freak CabbagePatchKid Share this post with your friends on Facebook ![]() |

Tonight the FarmVille Nursery became a true building with purpose. When harvesting the Nursery Barn there is now a chance for your calves or foals to grow up. However, your foal or calf will grow up into an all new adult animal. For example, a Pink Patch Calf does not grow into a Pink Patch Cow.
::Spoilers::
These are the rumored transformations provided by FarmVille Freak Oliver and Santhosh:
- Chocolate Calf produces Holstein Cow
- Longhorn Calf produces Holstein Cow
- Kelly Green Calf produces Chocolate Cow
- Percheron Foal produces Cream Draft Horse
- Purple Pony Foal produces Light Blue Pony
- Clydesdale Foal produces Cream Draft Horse
- White Foal produces Black Horse
- Pinto Foal produces Black Horse
- Green Calf produces Chocolate Calf
- Pink Patch Calf produces Chocolate Calf
- Neapolitan Calf produces Chocolate Calf
- Fan Calf produces Chocolate Cow
- Pink Pony Foal produces Light Blue Pony
- Regular Calf produces Holstein Cow
- Light Blue Pony Foal produces Light Blue Pony
- Brown Pony Foal produces Light Blue Pony
- Black Foal produces Black Horse

We were told quite sometime ago that the Nursery Barn would have a ‘growing up’ process. Is this how you imagined it would work?

Wonder what the blue pony will grow up into. Got a black foal and blue foal from the earlier free gift glitch.
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 5:41 am
nope, not at all!
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 5:42 am
Does that happen randomly or can I choose which one will grow up and if it will?
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 5:45 am
My nursery tells me that the Cream Draft Foal will grow into a Cream Draft Horse. I assume it’s the same for the black foal and the Blue Pony
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 5:53 am
hahahahahaha LOL no this is a gigantic surprise hahahahaha awesome LMAO!
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 5:54 am
Wow, this sucks!
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 5:56 am
Not at all I thought they would grow up into adult versions of then not totally different species!!!
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 5:59 am
I never really gave it much thought. This still sounds pretty good though.
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 6:01 am
Now this is what I call a big bucket of ice…!
Harvested my nursery and I got a chocolate cow from a pink calf. I expected that the animals would at least grow up into adult versions of themselves. Guess it’s time to get those two white foals out of that barn, they’ll look better on the farm.
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 6:27 am
I agree with Harley but i also think that it it cool!My nursery is 80% ready, can’t wait
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 6:37 am
I will admit that I was very confused when out of nowhere came a black-and-white cow!
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 7:02 am
Wait so do we lose some of the animals in the nursery barn or do they all stay there and we get one of those and do we get to keep what we make??
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 7:07 am
EPIC FAIL Zynga!!! This is NOT what people were asking for. That’s fine if you want to introduce these new animals, but it was clearly stated that the reason the nursery barn was introduced was because of popular demand by the players wanting to grow their baby animals into adult versions OF THE SAME ANIMAL! Idiots…..

Yeah…what FarmerB said!!

Post 12 + 13
I don’t think Zynga was looking that way. What I think they were trying to do is make the animals not grow up to their original forum so the people who don’t spend cash don’t get “EVERYTHING” free.
And those people who do spend cash (me) don’t get treated un-fair.
I think this was like one of their nice moves.

I an super excited about this! I knew storing more than 5 of each foal would pay off. Do you get a Horse from your foals or another foal to grow? Im very excited for this feature, 2 more horses to add to my horse collection! CANT WAIT!!!

I got draft horse and blue pony from gifts this morning…now they are gone…
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 7:28 am
hello admin… there is a mistake in your message. These calves/foals will not grow to different one but it produces .. means.. we are getting additional calves/foals from these to our gift box.
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 7:28 am
it might be what u said but i think this new animal thing is cool!

You can’t please everyone. This is a good solution to make more animals, maybe get rid of extras, and not make some people mad that bought the special animals. I just wish we all had a stallion, the wandering ones are few and far between, in fact my daughter rarely sees them.
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 7:31 am
Yeah, thought that the foals would grow into adult versions of same, so I was saving white foals hoping they could someday, maybe, turn into white stallions. Very disappointed
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 7:33 am
I think it’s cool, I like the blue pony especially. Zynga are not gonna let you make adults from the foals, that they sell for FV cash.
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 7:35 am
My baby Clydesdale turned into a Cream draft horse and i was able to post to give away 5 cream draft horse foals
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 7:36 am
I really really appreciate this move by Zynga. This is a good move because they’d dearly upset their customer base by making the premium horses free. But, think of it this way peeps, MOAR foals and MOAR Horses. Yay…Loving it!!!
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 7:37 am
Uh, NO this isn’t how I imagined it at all. The kelly green calf should grow up into a kelly green cow. What does that nursery barn do? Expose them to radiation so they turn into something they’re not? Ridiculous.
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 7:37 am
My only gripe is that with all these new animals, they should’ve released the underground storage to make room on our farms for them.
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 7:52 am
I am excited, too but why does zynga have to make cows and horses that cost FV cash transform into same animals as animals that were adoptable, giftable, and that cost coin.
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 7:55 am
@Jack
It doesn’t transform fV cash horses and cows, it transforms the foals and calves which were given away free.
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 7:55 am
If Kelly Green Calf grew up in to a Kelly Green Cow, there is no justice done to the person who bought 20 KGC, Isn’t it? I love the new Clydesdale very much!!! I have 2 white stallions, I am not complaining, but It would have been fair for people to get a stallion from the Nursery barn. That I can understand.
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 8:03 am
I deleted mine.. guess i will rebuild!
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 8:07 am
i actually like it
means i can keep my special foals as foals!!
little bummed in the way i thought i was going to be able to get rid of some of those common calves and foals and make room for more
nursery barn expansion?
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 8:08 am
And the dogs final trick is still not ready yet…why add new stuff when the older items aren’t completed?
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 8:11 am
There was a weird gift glitch this morning and a couple of us where able to send each other the blue pony, black horse, cream draft horse and multicolored groovy cow! I got a few of each! Strange!
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 8:12 am
I’m really disappointed
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 8:20 am
There must be a bug with the Mustang Foal, if you take it out of your Nusery Barn you cant put it back.
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 8:22 am
I am delighted with this development! Doesn’t make sense scientifically, but who cares?
Some of the people here could be a little more grateful though.
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 8:27 am
not at all what i thought would happen i was looking forward to growing up my 1 brown pony foal to get the brown pony horse which i don’t own.
having said that this is cool also new animals are always good but they could have put these out for coins.
and how is it fair to the people who own the chocolate cow already because there are people who own those and that chocolate calf is well was very very rare.
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 8:29 am
For some reason I had a groovy cow this morning in my request it came from one of my neighbors,, she is setting in the gift area of my farm
I imagined the White foal that comes from the WHite Stallion would be a WHite Stallion and I thought I would get a Purple Pony and a Pink pony from my Pink and purple pony foals and I have a brown pony foal I was really looking forward to them growing up…… maybe we have to wait until it comes full circle maybe the new colts will grow up into the animals we were expecting..
Because you know FV has to be running out of colors LOL
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 8:29 am
This freakin sucks. For the ones of us who have spent cash on the exclusive items especially~! I spent more than $200 in FV cash gotten from the 7-11 promotion on Appaloosa, Clydesdale, Pinto and Percheron horses with the same expectations that their offspring would grow into older versions of the same animal like it happens in real life. Don’t get me wrong, I love the idea of ll these new versions of offspring but I bought an Appaloosa hoping to have other Appaloosa’s on my farm. Once again disappointed with the designers “patch”. I truly love this game but PLEASE listen to what your players are asking for. If it can’t be done due to technical issues, don’t dick us around. Let us know. I’d be happier with that response than with what you are trying to feed us as a “new, great idea”.
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 8:33 am
Well… I just scored myself a black foal via the tool bar. No idea how that worked…
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 8:35 am
I could gift Cream Draft Horse, Black Horse, a pony and a colourful cow this morning, but not any more. Why is that? And my friends couldn’t send them back to me as a thank you gift.
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 8:37 am
i am not asking for my foals to frow into normal size alts do not speak 4 all of us you want a special horse buy one like the rest of the people .
im happy
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 8:38 am
Some reason my Mustang foal won’t go into my nursery ?????
Anyone having this problem?
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 8:38 am
Where do you get the blue, pink or purple foals or the cream colored Clydesdale in the first place… or the Neapolitan calf?
What would you need to do to keep them in their foal/calf form and not have them transform into adults?
Thanks
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 8:41 am
I think this is the best possible compromise for the nursery barn. If animals would have grown up into their ‘true selves’ then all of the people who paid real money would have been totally ripped off! I remember being upset myself when I spent farm cash to buy a lamb, and then got eight more out of my holiday tree!
Can you imagine buying five or six mystery boxes in an attempt to get a purple or pink pony, only to have your neighbors receive them for free (And from your hard work no less!)
On the other hand, if the nursery barn didn’t grow the animals up at all, the other half of the farming community would be upset. I think Zynga took this into consideration by at least staggering the type of animal you receive from the barn. I mean I think pony foals are pretty hard to come by, so if you grow up one of your purples or pinks, a blue pony seems like it will still be semi-rare!
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 8:44 am
I was on the forum when someone posted pics that these are FREE GIFTABLES (except from their offspring) evventually , they deleted that post. When the updates started , it appears on the free gift section but after 5 mins. it gone.
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 8:44 am
Talk about alien genetics *rolls eyes*. These breed morphs make my head hurt.
Obviously invented by people who have no clue and it makes absolutely no sense whatsoever.
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 8:44 am
Yes, actually, that is how I imagined, but I thought there would be more transformations :/
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 8:46 am
hi i got the blue pony where can i get it to give away?
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 8:47 am
One of my Clydesdale Foals did into a Cream Draft Horse today, and it is on my farm now. So cool !
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 8:49 am
I didn’t expect this but I’m okay with it. I agree with the move because there just wouldn’t be any point to buying farmcash animals just so any person who has never spent any farmcash get the same animal for free a minute later. The majority of people who are whining and complaining are those who don’t spend much farmcash if any. What I would like in the future is the ability to grow my foal into an adult if I have the adult version on my farm that was bought with farmcash.
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 8:49 am
My mustang foal won’t go in my nursery either
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 8:49 am
Gee, I thought I wa speaking for myself seeing as how I ws speaking, or rather writing.
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 9:01 am
I’m not sure how I feel about this. I mean, I like the new animals. But, I’m not thrilled that once one of our baby animals grows into an adult one, we lose the original baby.
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 9:02 am
You cannot put the wild mustangs in the nursery
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 9:03 am
It ends up not being fair either way.
I have rare horses but don’t have the matching fouls because my friends hardly get any.
I wouldn’t mind my friends growing up the fouls they got from me because eventually it would be easier for them to breed fouls for me (and their friends) to catch!
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 9:10 am
I had my white foal grow into a black horse as shown above, exactly and when it did, it allowed me to post an adoptable black foal on my feed which others have been able to adopt and put in their nursery. A friend also had a pink calf grow into a chocolate cow and I was able to adopt one of those calfs as well and put them on my farm without error
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 9:10 am
is groovy cow still unreleased? saw it on someones farm?
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 9:10 am
I love it just don’t understand it
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 9:10 am
i wanna take all it.s interesting
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 9:12 am
wow this is awesome! i love the Clydesdale one
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 9:15 am
you do not lose the original baby animal. I just collected from my nursery and it said my pink calf turned into a chocolate cow. Now i still have a pink calf and the chocolate cow, and i got to give away a free chocolate calf
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 9:20 am
Just “tended” my nursery barn and got a Holstein calf. The new calf went into my gift box; I then went to check the number of calves and ponies in my nursery barn, and there were only 19, meaning that the new animals ending up in the gift box are not additional animals but rather animals transformed from the ones in the nursery barn. That will initially change how I stock my nursery barn until I get a lot of new new calves and foals!
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 9:22 am
Correction – I got a Holstein cow, not calf.
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 9:22 am
of farmville is becoming more intresting and lixicous is a dork
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 9:23 am
@Harrison I’ll have to pay more attention next time I harvest it. I could’ve sworn it’s been full for months, but then when I went to move some of my baby animals in there this morning, I noticed there were only 19/20 animals in there.
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 9:24 am
Lol I was awake when there was the glitch, got 5 blue ponies, 3 cream draft 3 black ones and 2 hippie cows
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 9:28 am
might be nice if breeders got to keep one of what they breed and share the others…..
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 9:29 am
love blue pony and the cream horse i have the FarmVille Groovy Cow from free gifts
i cant wait find one!!!
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 9:29 am
How do you get the blue pony??? Never saw it before
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 9:33 am
I emailed FVGoddess a picture… I got the: Cream Clydesdale, Blue Pony, Black Horse, and Groovy Cow from the glitch last night!
I wish I could have gotten one of all of them… but that might have taken the fun out of the wait… lol.
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 9:34 am
Its not fair that we can not grow up our free kelly green and pink patch calfs and get grown kelly green and pink patch cows..To bad for us.. we should have just bought the cows when we had a chance!!!
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 9:37 am
There is no winning with some of you crybabies on here. zynga did a cool thing with the foals and you keep complaining. stop ruining it for us who are happy with it and if you dont like DONT PLAY FARMVILLE and get of this page and complain elsewhere please.
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 9:39 am
I think it’s a pitty that the Black horse has the “old design”, like the brown, grey and pinto horses. It should look more like the appaloosa or mustang, they have better design in my opinion. Foal is too cute though like the rest of them no matter whicj colour
And I was hoping for something like Miro said but I guess it would be exciting to have a calf/foal mutate, hehe, into smomething else.
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 9:39 am
Feral Farm Cats Says
@ totally agree with Feral Farm Cats, I have spend way too much FV cash for me to get all those rare horses to satisfy my hobby and that is the only reason i like FV because i like breeding horses and i spent more less of %)) FV cash!!!! for me to get to where i am now today. so if any of the other farmers can get wht i have by my hard work+ FVcash, i will totally rip off and quit playing this bloody game as it will never be fair to us who spent real money to play unlike the other half who always know to whinning and want everything for free!!! come on, i hope later u will not ask for free electricity, n internet bills too fr u to play FV!!!! @#$%^^&
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 9:40 am
This is really unexpected. But I’m sure it serves both sides this time. They get new animals and those who bought the animal won’t feel betrayed. Great move there.
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 9:41 am
correction… 500 FV cash for horses only!!!
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 9:41 am
And how can you get the Groovy Cow? I would love to have that one!
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 9:47 am
I know I will be accused of complaining, but I have all the $FV animals. The only thing that made it ok that we have to give away the special calves and foals was that one day they would be able to grow up, and my neighbours would produce calves/foals for me. Now they can’t. I have a pink patch cow, but still no pink patch calf. This problem could easily be solved if we could keep one baby for ourselves when they are produced.
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 9:53 am
@Niquedaone thats a very funny comment. Whoever got Chocolate cow, got it by means of unfair malpractice. Zynga was decent enough to let them keep it. So be grateful twerp!
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 10:00 am
@Estevan-Corvínus
Well said!
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 10:00 am
I was hopping for each calf/foal to grow in to the same adult, but it doesn’t really surprise me. I’ve got a bunch of useless ones, so I guess I’ll just use this to sell animals seeing as they will not give us an expansion.
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 10:07 am
@Irish Eyes I agree with you on that point! I give away my calves/fouls away and never get to keep one for myself. I’ve been expected that my neighbors would eventually grow their babies so they could eventually breed baby animals to post.
Anyway, new animals are welcome.
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 10:10 am
Super Confusing!!
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 10:19 am
double edged sword… But here me out as one who does buy farmcash from time to time.
I am disappointed that I am unable to get more adult kelly greens or pink patch cows. I was hoping to increase my herd. I was hoping that others, like myself, would have an opportunity to get those cows if they were unable to, for what ever reason, being unable to get the farmcash, not about at the time of the release or very new players.
Zynga does give farmcash animals for free. I have nearly 30 new hens from gold eggs. I also know people who have paid farmcash to get those new hens. One needs to ask, is it fair to them?
Admittedly, the difference between the hens, the pink patch cow, kelly Green cow, and the pony’s is that they were limited edition release.
Limited edition by it’s very name says that the item will be limited for a short time. So, it should be of little surprise that we do not get adults of the transformed foals that belong to the limited edition animals.
However, adults of the clydes, percheron, pinto, should available, albeit rarely.
With that said, I like what I am seeing. I really do like it.
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 10:25 am
When I harvested my nursery barn this morning, I got a Holstein calf to give away and a Holstein cow to keep. The only animals I have in my nursery barn are alien calves and a few pink calves. I think that the animals our nursery barns produce are completely random and have nothing to do with what type of calf or foal you have. In my opinion, trying to figure out what kind of cow or horse your calf or foal matures into is fruitless.
Another thing that I would love to get some feedback on is this: When I did harvest my nursery barn, for a minute it said I had gone from 20/20 calves to 19/20 calves. But then it suddenly rectified itself and said I had 20/20 calves. I checked and I had all of my original calves. Has anyone else had this experience? Do we actually get to keep the calves we already have? Thanks in advance for any insight into this.
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 10:37 am
I love these new animals but like other people said, I too wish that you could keep a baby when you breed animals and share others too because I have FV cash horses and cows but no foals or calfs of them because none of my friends have the adults only the babies I bred and shared with them…
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 10:45 am
wat does the mustang foal grow into
and the tuscan calf
and the appaloosa foal
???????????
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 10:51 am
can you stuff the nursery to produce multiple adults in one day like we do with the stable?
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 11:08 am
A BIG THUMBS UP !! WELL DONE ZYNGA>>GREAT MOVE>>GREAT IDEA!!!
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 11:08 am
I agree with Ginger (post number 57.)
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 11:09 am
So… since none of my neighbors has a Clydesdale or a Pinto, I will NEVER get to have foals of MY OWN horses for which i payed REAL MONEY… Great!!!!
(( I wouldn’t mind the animals growing into other animals, IF we would get to keep a foal and share the rest when we harvest our stables… I understand they don’t want to favor ppl who don’t spend money, but they hurt the rest of us in the process… Soooo NOT buying anymore animals with FV cash…
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 11:30 am
On one hand, I really like the idea of new animals.
On the other hand, I was really hoping that my alien calves would become more alien cows, so I could fill my barns with nothing but alien cows. Oh well…cant have everything!
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 11:33 am
One of my friend sent me a blue pony when there was that glitch with the free gifts. He’s a cutie!
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 11:35 am
how do now get the groovy cow being its not in free gifts anymore?
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 11:40 am
I get it; it would have been horribly unfair for the people who purchased the animals with cash if every person got the same thing using their babies. However, is it really too much to ask for the white stallion baby to become some other type of stallion?! I don’t care what he looks like, I just want to share as many babies as I can with my friends
I’ve been waiting for this grow up feature so I could share ALL sorts of horses and calves, and now I must wait for the freakin’ wandering stallion?! pfft.
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 11:50 am
It’s not what I expected but it’s still pretty cool. I especially like the Holstein Cow.
Like several other people said, it’s a bit much (and unfair) to let us grow the special FV Cash animals for free.
I could ask that Zynga consider making some of the Limited Release Animals available again for short periods of time. Those of us who joined more recently would like to get them too.
All in all a pretty positive development.
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 11:57 am
for everyone who is complaining about “my friends dont have this or that” why dont you just join one of the many many groups that have people sharing these very same animals for free with people?
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 12:17 pm
lol …to me this seems to be a coding gone wrong
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 12:27 pm
To all teh people who are complaining I think this a very fair update – I think they did not update so all baby animals turned into their adult form because that is unfair to all teh people to spent farm cash which equals real money. So this is the better iption
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 12:33 pm
So, is there anyway to get the Groovy Cow now? And I think it’s a great idea. The newbies get new animals, and the people who bought the cows or horses for cash don’t feel like theyve been scammed. Everyone (pretty much) happy!
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 12:36 pm
I wasn’t *expecting* it to work like this, but I like it a lot! I almost like it better than just growing up your animals.
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 12:37 pm
Anyone who is complaining about not having neighbors with rare horses and cows, therefore you can’t get the rare foals and calves – why don’t you just open up a second Facebook account under and altrenate email address, and buy the rare horses and cows there? Then when you get a rare calf or foal, you can just get that one from your alter ego. This is what most people do who have a lot of rare foals and calves. And please don’t say that this is cheating. This is not a competitive game. There is no score, there is no standings, there is no championships. It is a way to amuse yourself.

lolwut?
I thougth nursery barn was crap, but i guess now this is a sort of fun…
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 12:41 pm
It would be nice if the white and pinto foals grew up to be something different than the free foals. There’s no incentive to grow the rarer ones up.
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 12:46 pm
I am pretty sure that Zynga originally meant for them to grow up into the adult versions of themselves (eg. KGC grows up into Kelly Green Cow), but realized that no one would ever buy the cows for FV$ again… so they did this…….. It’s ok I guess, but I will never get a Kelly Green Cow now.
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 12:49 pm
this is so awsome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have tons of foals&calfs especially rare ones, can’t wait for them to grow up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 12:52 pm
I don’t mind so much that they want to keep the rares rare (even though I was looking forward to getting the brown pony adult, since I missed out back then) but my main wish was that White Stallion foal –> Black Stallion. I would have died with happiness, seriously. I’ve been waiting for the BS to be released, and that would have been so awesome…
Another wish of mine would have been the pintos growing up. I can understand the limited edition ones not losing their value, but the Pinto is the lowest quality of all the horses, I’d rather have gotten it with one of my 10 pinto babies rather than 20FVC. lol
Otherwise, I’m not thrilled with this update cause I ended up with all but holstein from people sending me gifts. I even got a Cream and a Black foal. No need to grow my cute babies now.
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 1:03 pm
Ok I have a regular, fan calf, kelly green, pink patch, grey, brown, percheron and pinto foal in my nursery. My name Jillian Ritson on facebook PLEASE add me if you have the pink or purple ponies/foals so I can get and make the light blue ones! and write in the description that you’re from FMFreak, thanks!
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 1:06 pm
P.S. @ #91, the mustang foal won’t go in my nursery.
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 1:15 pm
I do love it. Who cares if it isn’t genetically correct. Are kelly green, pink and pink patch cows genetically correct? Either way some were going to be unhappy. I have the pink patch cow and kelly green cow…I was hoping that I would be able to get a couple more to go with them if we were able to make the younger versions grow bigger. No biggie…I do like the new animals. I really hope that the animals we get out of the nursery barn change after however many weeks or months.
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 1:22 pm
I like this idea, the cream draft horse is gorgeous
I would’ve liked the white foal to grow into a white stallion, even if it was only 1% of them or something BUT I can understand why they didn’t do this.
I don’t like the chocolate cow it’s lazy but at least the calves turn into something cool!
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 1:28 pm
There cute but seriously who wants to put a rare green calf in the nursery and get a chocolate cow which isnt rare at all? And really baby animals dont tend to suddenly change species as they grow up LOL zynga this was a big disapointment i really wanted to grow up some brown pony foals as i missed buying them. I think since zynga have done this with the nursery they need to bring back the other rare horses, ponys and cows so people at least have a chance to buy them again.
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 1:38 pm
I HAVE NEVER GOT ANY THING IN MY NURSERY BARN AND ITS FULL TO THE MAX SO I DONT UNDERSTAND WHATS GOING ON HERE ITS REALLY ASHAME I CANT GET ANY OF THESE THINGS,
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 1:40 pm
I EFFFFING LOVE IT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
so glad they dont grow up in to the normal adults cause that would make the stuff we spend fv cash on a waste of money theyd al become so common
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 1:47 pm
Not fair that some got the special animals and others didn’t.
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 1:49 pm
Wasn’t what I was expecting, and I’m a bit disappointed that I won’t be able to grow an appaloosa horse if I get an appaloosa foal from my sister, since I sent her the horse for her birthday with my farm cash
Even though I’m disappointed, I can see why Zynga did it that way, they are in this to make money
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 1:58 pm
what about the mustang foal??
cause i cant even put it in the nursery for some reason.
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 2:06 pm
You all can’t expect to get the limited edition cash items for free can you. Seriously I understand why they did this. However its still dumb.
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 2:09 pm
Is there a trick to this like the horse stables, so i can get more chance?
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 2:09 pm
Hmmm farmville creators don’t understand biology and reproduction very well LOL
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 2:11 pm
I am soooo glad that all the FREELOADERS don’t get grown FV$ animals for FREE. Nice move Zynga!
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 2:13 pm
I dont know what happened but all those showed up on my free gifts page last nght! i thought they were free gifts and was able to send them to my neighbors!! haha must of been the glitch as they were doing the update! mwahaha lucky to all those neighbors that were able to recieve them!
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 2:16 pm
My Clydesdale produced a cream horse but I didn’t get to keep one… only to post to feed. Is this the way it works?
We kept posting for weeks to people that the white foals are not going to grow up to be white stallions so why are people disappointed? Need to put on that Mick Jagger song… you cant always get what you want…
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 2:20 pm
When the foal grows up, it dissapears?
Or we get the adult one and keep the old foal to?
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 2:39 pm
i was able to send these out as free gifts last night! and got a few back haha thanks for the glitch zynga woooo
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 2:46 pm
This is pretty amazing for a FarmVille feature to do.
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 2:48 pm
I wish that they would bring back PINK PONY”S AND BROWN PONY”S.
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 2:52 pm
For those of you complaining I think this is actually a lot better if the foals & calves grew up different because if they grew up to be the same as the adult animal the made it and you paid fv cash for the parent animal the your friends who got the baby animals but never bought the adult animal would be basically be getting a free farmville cash animal they did not have to work for. Now if they made it so you had to pay the same amour you paid for the adult animal in order to make it grow the same as the adult that be different as they wouldn’t be getting an animal they didn’t work for. And when they share that animals fv neighbors who want the animal also have to pay a fee to adopt it.
SO I think this was a so much better feature don’t you? If you hate to see your littleuns grow up A.take them out of the barn and place them on your farm or B. let them grow up and adopt new foals of the same breed from the feed posts
C. just don’t use you nursy barn all together
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 2:56 pm
What is this… I don’t even. Lol, the cute creatures produced make no sense, but I’m absolutely loving all these new animals. I’m just a tiny bit sad that it’s not what was expected. But still, cool.
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 3:06 pm
How do you get the grovey Cow…??
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 3:06 pm
@SuzieO That’s not how it worked for me. My kelly green calf grew up into a chocolate cow, which I got to keep. Plus, I got to put a chocolate calf in my feed to share.
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 3:06 pm
So this means I will never get a Fan cow or a Kelly green cow

I agree with the following above. Zynga was treading a VERY thin THIN line here. They to come up with a way to please the customers (aka the people that pay on a monthly basis, and the ones that do it ever so often.) Cuz Zynga knew they would loose a lot of money if they gave a cash horses away FREE!!. I know they do like the new hens, couple of the dogs. I can see being a little irate over that. But the reason I think they did this. Like me i only have 2 Cornish and 2 Scots. I don’t have the other new one. I probably wont get for a little while. The reason is most of my neighbors don’t have the time to play any more. So I don’t get to many golden eggs. I mean I got 2 the other day but the was cuz i was doing my neighbors farms. That is the only way for the passed couple months I am able to get any. So I am saying if you were in my boat. Not able to get golden egg like a lot of folks. They were trying to get you some as well. That is why I have learned to when it comes to certain animals. Aka the hens. It is better off to wait cuz more then likely they will give the away.
Back to what I was saying about the new cow and horses breeds. They wanted every one to feel like they were going to be able to finally be able to have a CASH animal it it stay rare. If you want one of the foals or calfs. DONT put in the nursery. Like right now I want that draft Clyde but I only have one Clyde foal. I don’t want to loose that foal so I WONT be putting it in the Nursery.
You all whine about not having new foals or calfs. Now you complain that you are loosing your LE’s, or Cash ( aka the ones that were free). You were also complaining that the Nursery was taking to long for them to grow up. Well, when they did finally make them grow up. You complain about that too.
The thing of it is. Farmville is just a GAME!! Plan and simple. Like some one said YOU can choose NOT to play or to play it. Leave the ones that enjoy the game and use it to truely relax some peace and quiet. I like the fact the game is putting a new twist on the game. Shoot they needed to come up with something that would the new players stay and maybe some of the old ones come back.
The nursery expansion i think … Remember I THINK!! they are around the corner. One they haven’t take the nursery gifts down yet. When alot of people were done with the Stables. They turned around about 2 weeks or so later said hey look you can make them bigger now.
Then one comment what about the stuff they have started. Well, the thing of it is. That is how they are keeping the game interesting to some. Cuz they must have some else planned when they want the dogs to learn the finally trick.
I mean we expanded out stables. To hold more horses. Thus, two weeks later they make to were the nursery makes calfs and FOALS grow up. They expanded the stables to hold the new adult HORSES!!.
So you see they have reason here lately for everything. Everything is going in order for something else to fall into place. Aka the Stable expansions and nursery making adults.
So just keep your mouths shut cuz you don’t know what the big surpize is going to be next
.
Sorry about a long rant lol.
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 3:15 pm
It is my understanding that when a new animal is produced from the nursery, that one that produced it will disappear. so if you only have 1 of something and don’t want to lose it, DON’T put it in the nursery
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 3:16 pm
Unfortunately- no white stallion, fan cow, pp cow, kg cow. good side- NEW ANIMALS!!!
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 3:19 pm
Not what I wanted. OK, I understand the point about those that spent $FV. Not sure I agree, but point taken. However, my gripe is that I’d hoped to get the alien cow from the green calf—the alien cow was even a coin item, but it’s no longer offered (wasn’t playing back then), so there’s no way to get it.
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 3:54 pm
This is an awesome way to introduce new animals w/o anyone having to pay for new animals. Kudos to Zynga. And for the complainers. Really? REALLY?!
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 4:23 pm
Well I was hoping to eventually have a ranch full of Longhorn cows (I did a total southwest theme), as both myself and my girlfriend bought Longhorns to breed with the knowledge that they were about to make this update. While I see all your points of it not being fair to those who bought breeds of horses/cows only for some players to get the same for free, what about those players that don’t have very many neighbors?
Don’t get me wrong, this is a great update, but I still want my ranch of Longhorn cows, Zynga! Make ‘em a different color, I don’t care.
Oh, and they need to release some Black Angus Cows!!!
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 4:42 pm
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 5:27 pm
To all those that are complaining that zynga don’t know their biology and genetics, please post a picture of a real neopolian, pink, kelly green, or alien cow? This is a fictional game where not everything has to be lifelike!
Personally I like the new update, I have a lot of regular calves and cows so I wouldn’t have liked my regular calves to grow up into regular cows.
Will we have a chance of getting some new calves or foals ourselves by putting the new cows and horses in out dairy farms or stables? And what would happen if we put one of the new calves or foals into the nursery, what would they grow into?
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 5:28 pm
WHAT THE F**K FARMVILLE FREAK I SENT EMAILS TO YOU GUYS OF THE BLACK FOAL AND DID NOT POST IT ON HERE!!!!!!! AND WHAT DID IT DO? IT GOT RELEASED!!!!!!!!!!! I MOVING TO A DIFFERENT FAN PAGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 5:40 pm
I harvested mine today evening but nothng happened
no special horse
inside there are still foals….
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 6:11 pm
how do you get the adult horses or cows(not the foals and calves) to send to your friends?
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 7:16 pm
@ 147 they can’t be sent anymore. Apparently they had accidentally made their debut on the gifting page, and were taken down 5 mins later.
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 7:28 pm
I think that this was a bit of a let down. I am one of the people who
purchased the FV cash animals, and yes, I put them in my stables and barns and yes I produced calves and foals. I produced them to give them to my neighbors. A lot of them cannot afford to buy the stuff, lets be real the economy sucks and they had to put their money towards more important real life things. This was a chance for me to really be able to help them oput and it was pulled out from under me. I like the idea of some of the new animals, but I paid for these ones, it was my choice to give away the foals, no one held a gun to my head and said publish this. If it is really a big deal for you not to give them away and keep the animal for the sole purpose of saying I have one and you don’t, then I think you really might want to seek some kind of help. This game was originally based on helping each other, and not to see who could collect the most cookies. I would have much rather of seen us be able to grow the animals up and everybody have them than just those who can afford to pay the prices have them.
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 8:57 pm
Hi, although I like the idea of adding these new animals to our farms I am dissappointed that I cannot get a White Stallion, Percheron, Pink, Brown and Purple or Pinto horse or some Pink Patch cows. Although this is a good idea on Zynga’s part, it is also a disappointment as some of our animals we were expecting to get adult versions of. I’d love to be able to mature my few Tuscan and Neo calves into adults but since they only turn into the Black and White cows I’ll keep them and my other calves outside that Nursery. I’ll only be transforming a few of my foals into adults.
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 9:51 pm
I have had a brown foal produce a black horse so is it a little more random of what you get or we just don’t have an idea yet what all each foal/calf will produce?
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 9:51 pm
THIS IS REALLY DUMB, THEY HAVE MADE IT SO MUCH HARDER THAN IT NEEDS TO BE – ALL THEY NEEDED TO DO WAS MAKE IT LIKE THE UPDATED MYSTERY EGGS – you get to KEEP a foal or calf and have the OPTION to send the rest to your friends, and have the option of TRANSFORMING your baby animal into the adults. NOT ONLY ARE THESE SOLUTIONS ARE THINGS THAT CAN ALREADY BE FOUND IN THE GAME (and so requires no stuffing round with trying to get new stuff to work) BUT IT ALSO SATISFIES THOSE WHO FEEL IT IS UNFAIR THAT NEIGHBOURS GET ANIMALS THEY DIDN’T PAY FOR, FOR FREE.
My main complaint, however, is that now i’m NEVER going to get a clydesdale foal that I can KEEP from the clydesdale horse i bought. None of my friends have them – the only foals can therefore come from me – i don’t mind my friends having my foals, but there is no way that I GET TO HAVE ONE!!!!
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 9:57 pm
Wow, this sucks!
Posted on May 28th, 2010 at 9:59 pm
Piper38,
Nice, i totally agree with you!
Posted on May 29th, 2010 at 10:06 am
what about the groovy cow
Posted on May 29th, 2010 at 11:16 am
UMMMM… HELLLLOOOO… VERY SIMPLE SOLUTION: When an animal grows up, DON’T FREAKIN SHARE IT!!!! I have Kelly Green Cows and I want a Kelly Green Calf on my farm but never will because no one else bought any. My hope was to give out the babies so they could grow them into adults and I might get a calf back. SO why not give people the option to share or not share when you produce a calf or foal, kind of like perfect bunches of flowers, and that way the people that paid $$ like me can get something for back. The same for when they mature, just let the player keep the cow so the cheap people don’t get it… was it REALLY that hard to figure out ZYNGA??? Instead they are basically trying to eliminate the limited edition animals to get people to buy more.. dumb.
Posted on May 29th, 2010 at 11:55 pm
I UNDERSTAND WHAT YOUR SAYING ZYNGA ABOUT THE BUYING ANIMALS PARTS bUT I FOR ONE WOULD HAVE LOVED TO SHARE IN MY WHAT I PAY FOR . I TOO WAS HOPING FOR MORE OF WHAT I HAVE NOT JUST THESE WONDERFUL NEW ONES. I WANT TO GROW A GREEN COW OUT OF MY GREEN CALF DUE TO THE FACT I CAME IN TO THE GAME AFTER IT WAS ANNOUCED… oH WELL SALING GREEN CALFS NO GOOD TO ME AND I NEED THE SPACE ANYWAY.. THANKS!!!
Posted on May 30th, 2010 at 9:10 am
yeah u all who are complaining cause ur babies didnt grow into adult versions of themselves need to stfu! y would u think u could get them for free when the rest of us had to pay???? they did it right cause i woulda been pissed if everyone had the same animals i paid fv cash for

I understand. I wish Zynga could compromise better on some things. Example- they have lots of glitches to take advantage of-but I haven’t got to like the Mustang glitch and gifting glitch, my luck I get the bad glitch like not being able to get on my farm.
I think because Zynga had so many foals/gifts (which few that I know of got) they have slowed down production on farms. For the last few mornings none of my barns/stables, etc has produced. Also many people haven’t been able to post mustang foals, or get mustang email notice. So Zynga should lighten up a bit, have the ability for each farm to produce a rare animal from nursery maybe? Lower animal prices?
By the way I have many of rare foals, and have bought some, but used free FV$ when I’ve been able too. Just decided that the animals are what I wanted.
Posted on May 30th, 2010 at 11:47 pm
I think they have done the right thing not growing the animals into adult versions. I bought 3 mystery boxes to get my stallion!
I love the cream draft, and that was a good comprimise for the TWO clydesdale horses I bought for cash!
As far as people moaning about not getting special foals themselves, it is easy to source other horse breeder as neighbours, and share foals that way. I have all the foals including those that I do not have the adults for, as I have only been playing for a short while. Would give anything for a kelly green cow, but I was not playing then!
As for your chart on what produces what………………totally incorrect.
I have ALL foals in my barn, clydes, ponies, and percheron, as I want the blue pony or cream draft. What do I get????? A COW!!!!!! WTF!
Twice now I have gotten the holstein cow from 4 harvests of my nursery barn. That I am NOT happy about.
BTW If you want to add me for some foals, Nikki Strawbridge, put a note in your neighbour request saying horse breeding, thanks!
Posted on May 31st, 2010 at 12:17 am
This is the best thing they could have done with the nursery. I’ve given away a lot of babies long before the nursery ever came into being, and would have been angry had they let people grow them up after I bought them. This IS the fairest option for everyone. Kudos to Zynga on this, and thanks for the AWESOME new creatures!!
Posted on May 31st, 2010 at 12:25 am
I’m confused… how do you get the Groovy Cow?
Posted on May 31st, 2010 at 4:05 am
follow up from post number 160, just harvested this morning, and my foals produced a choco cow!!!!!!!!
Tempted to delete the nursery barn and re build to re set it or something!!
Posted on May 31st, 2010 at 9:54 am
I would like to know how to keep my foals and not have to share them, after all I paid for FV Hores’s and then I have to give the foals they produce away. If other people want those foals and not the brown and gray ones let them spend there own money and buy Horse’s. When FV gives me free money then I will not mind but as long as it’s my cash it makes me mad. They can’t expect us to give away for free stuff that we paid cash for.
Posted on May 31st, 2010 at 1:14 pm
I have harvested my nursery barn a few times since this update and it hasn’t offered me to grow any of the animals inside :S does it do it randomly or what!?
I’m so confused D:
Posted on May 31st, 2010 at 4:36 pm
I think it is a good thing. I paid for my horses. Why should someone get a bunch of them for free. If you want the farm cash horses and cows PAY for them yourself! There are alot of people who are so selfish and grab every foal without sharig that means I paid for my horses and they get a bunch of them for free?? GREEDY people. I am happy with how this is going to work.
Posted on May 31st, 2010 at 5:18 pm
Where do you get the Groovy cow???
Posted on May 31st, 2010 at 10:04 pm
I’ve only had foals in my nursery band and yet I’ve gotten Chocolate Cow and a Holstein Cow the last two times I’ve harvested it. Not sure how this is happening.
Posted on June 1st, 2010 at 1:09 pm
well this is stupid. i don’t see why they should care about the foals and calfs growing into their counterparts when they are already letting us get free golden, cornish, grey, and red chickens which are EVEN MORE expensive than the horses and cows themselves. Nobody ever really bought the new chickens from the market. They just open as many mystery eggs as they can and hope they get lucky.
Posted on June 1st, 2010 at 1:51 pm
and to those of you who keep dogging on everybody else and how they should pay for whatever themselves, it isn’t like your spending your money on anything better. what does this game do for you to the point where you have to spend tens to hundreds of dollars for things that aren’t real and exist only on your computer. it isn’t like everybody else is refusing to pay taxes. either way you spend and lose money on things that only help your ego by being able to brag to everybody else on how you have some virtual animal or building that NOBODY NEEDS.
Posted on June 3rd, 2010 at 9:39 am
I think its random as to what grows up, not what you put in the nursery, if its on the farm, there is a chance it grows up, just tended nurdery with 1 calf in it, and blue pony foal grew up
Posted on June 3rd, 2010 at 10:01 am
Trevor, you took the words out of my mouth. Some people are just way too obsessed over this game and very selfish. And I once bought a Clydesdale, from the cash I got with the toolbar and I hate it that I can’t get a Clydesdale foal and a space cow. I was hoping that with the nursery barn others would be able to get a Clydesdale/space cow for example and I could get a foal/calf one day. But this really sucks and all the more frequent foals and calves produce the same adult animal, so most of us will only be able to get 3 different species.
Posted on June 3rd, 2010 at 5:58 pm
well none of my foals or calves seem to be maturing at all….am I missing something? is ther a specific number i must house before they mature??
Posted on June 3rd, 2010 at 11:36 pm
i can now put my mustang foal in my nursery barn but it only sais
“mustang foal produces”
i think its a glitch but im not sure

My brown foal turned into a Black Horse, lol!
Posted on June 4th, 2010 at 10:46 pm
my calves are growing into horses and my foals are growing into cows… a better name for “farmville” would be “farmlab”
Posted on June 4th, 2010 at 11:38 pm
How do I harvest my foals? I have be harvesting since day 1 and have yet to get anything.
Posted on June 5th, 2010 at 5:32 am
My fan calf disappeared from the nursery barn. It “grew up” into a chocolate cow and offered a chocolate calf to my neighbors. It was the only one I had. If I had known the baby animals disappear from the nursery when they grow up, I would have set aside a few outside the nursery for safe keeping.
Posted on June 5th, 2010 at 11:15 am
I somehow ended up with a white stallion in my stables. I’m kinda curious to how I got this. I’m definitely not upset about this, I’m happy that I don’t have to find wandering stallions. I just have no clue how I got this.
Posted on June 5th, 2010 at 2:17 pm
It seems like if you have mostly calf’s in there, if anything, you will get a foal grown up. If mostly foals in the nursery, you get a calf grown up – if you get anything. I have probably harvested 30 times and have had 3 grown up appear.
Posted on June 6th, 2010 at 12:00 am
What about Appaloosa foal?
Posted on June 7th, 2010 at 8:17 am
The Cream Draft Horse looks great. It’s just a change of color from the Clydesdale I know but it still looks great.
Plus it exists. Cool

Not trying to be rude, but to all those who complain constantly about EVERYTHING Zynga does I have come up with a solution to your problem. Please follow the following steps:
1) On your browser look at the top right corner.
2) Move mouse pointer over red box with white X in it
3) Click it.
4) Now quit whining, get over it, and come back and enjoy this FREE GAME!!!!!
Hope these steps were helpful.

hmmm, seems the only ones gripping here are the ones who just play with coin and the FV$s they earn by leveling up or via special promotions. I’m SO glad that the foals and calfs that I provided to my nearly 200 ungrateful vulture neighbors DON’T grow up to the original COW or HORSE that I spent my hard earned REAL dollars on!!! quit whining and go back to watchin’ your FV feed and scoop up whatever pink haired pony foal or kelley green calf you get get your greedy mitts on. whah whah whah…lol

as for this post i love the way they did the nursery…yes i was upset at first only because i missed out on the GREEN COWS and i have tons of GREEN Calves and hoped to get a big one as I have Bought every Cow except the PinkPatch and the KelleyGreen Cows since i started playing in January…have 2 Farms and spend money on both…i wish i had gotten those also have a pair of every horse except the Ponies missed those somehow but do have a pony foal and only have 1 WHITE STALLION on each but i good with that…it is free and spending even $10 every other month can get u alot of these things that is not much money especially if u look at how much VIDEO GAMES cost now and so for a free game it is nice to be able to be different by spending a small amount of money every now and then…..I DO HOWEVER WISH THEY WOULD CHANGE ONE PART OF IT>>>THE SPECIAL HORSES like PINTO, Appolloosa, WHITE foals should PRODUCE a DIFFERENT HORSE THAN THE BLACK ONE THAT U GET FROM THE GREY AND BROWN FOALS…and on the CALVES the SAME the ones that cost should produce a different one than the regular ones…..EVERYONE THAT COMPLAINS SO MUCH NEEDS TO EITHER SHUT_UP OR STOP PLAYING BUT DANG IT WOULD NOT BREAK YOUR BANK TO SPEND $10 that would buy u some cool stuff for your farm and would be as if u bought a board game from WALMART! AND U PLAY FARMVILLE DAILY SO??????

what does tuscan calves and mustang foals grow into
Posted on June 10th, 2010 at 12:44 am
Ok, I’m going to complain too…but it’s only because my Nursery doesn’t work at all:( I constructed the Nursery very quickly- right after release- because I have a lot of helpful neighbors- Ever since then I haven’t been able to “grow up” a single foal/calf into a horse/cow. I have a good collection including pink, blue, cream, percheron, pinto, black, white, grey & brown foals…chocolate, tuscan, holstein, pink, alien calves- NEVER ONE PRODUCED:( I have tried different amounts in the Nursery from 2 items to 20, harvesting every day with no luck. I’ve stopped trying to figure it out and just left it full with 20 items. Can anyone suggest what is wrong with what I am doing? Does it require a Wandering Stallion type item to make the foal/calf grow up? Can anyone help me out with some tips- thanks very much!

I DONT LIKE THE FACT:
I’ve bought a clysdale (regular big one) and i’ve got 3 times a foal clysdale… now all my friends have this cute clysdale foal and i’ve got nothing…..
NOT .. FAIR
and i thougt it will grow @ my friends farm and then i will get one but it turned out to be a cream… disliking it!

anyone else had calves and foals dissapear from their nursery barn? Is this SUPPOSED to happen?? Everytime I have a foal or calf to share, I have one less in my nursery barn. This has happened on both my accounts. at first I thought, that’s strange, only 19 in there, i was sure there was 20, now it’s happening all the time. I’m taking my ‘prize’ foals and calves out of there. I don’t want to loose anymore.

Christina, same here. since the nursery barn started, I’ve only ever had two to share. and they were just commone one’s even though they are minority. Everytime I click on it, i get coins only. I’ve just taken out the foals and calves I want to keep because one by one they are dissapearing. FV have it all sussed out I think. not happy

you can stuff the nursery barn the same way people do with a stable
empty the barn
take a foal or calf that is 100% and put it in the barn
add a few more animals – four total is an excellent number
harvest
repeat over and over until you can’t stand it anymore

this sucks, the baby animals need 2 grow up into what they are, thats just a ripe off zynga.

Marion B – the foals do not ‘disappear’, they grow up and go to your gift box, in the same way that you don’t still have a real foal when it grows up into a horse. Therefore the number of animals in the nursery barn goes down by one.

Now here I finally start building a nursery since I have had friends nice enough to send me minis and a SINGLE white foal. Now I found out that when I put them into my nursery when it’s done I won’t even get the same animal in return? Wondering stallions are are and few between and Minis were available for a really short time now I’m not even sure I want to finish it if I will loose the minis I have that I was really hoping to grow. Though I hope I can still share them.
