cool
Posted on August 27th, 2010 at 8:42 pm
You can also put pigglets in the pig pen (I have one in mine now not sure if it is a glitch)
Posted on August 27th, 2010 at 8:47 pm
Can we get a transcript of it? I hate listening to her babble on and on.
Posted on August 27th, 2010 at 8:55 pm
i dont like that other farmers will be able to harvest my animals and trees i have a way of doing that along with my crops. im trying to master my crops by using brushes to get extra points. DONT LIKE THAT AT ALL
Posted on August 27th, 2010 at 8:57 pm
Very cool, can’t wait for the Nursery Barn expansion.
The ability to plow, pick from trees, and harvest animals is very similar to what you can do in Frontierville..
Posted on August 27th, 2010 at 8:59 pm
I’m not sure I like the idea of others harvesting crops/plowing. Did they say planting too? Trees I don’t mind.
Posted on August 27th, 2010 at 9:02 pm
It’ll prob be like frontier ville where you can accept or decline the help offered…
Posted on August 27th, 2010 at 9:12 pm
I agree with Abe, you still get the xp and coins, but your neighbor doesn’t have to accept the help. i would like that.
Posted on August 27th, 2010 at 9:14 pm
I don’t want people to be able to do anything on my farm except fertilize the crops.
I have my own time frame for when I harvest the animals , trees etc… and don’t want that messed with. Please don’t use this.
Posted on August 27th, 2010 at 9:14 pm
Loving this feature
Posted on August 27th, 2010 at 9:15 pm
I DONT LIKE THE IDEA OF ANYONE HARVESTING MY CROPS..OR ANIMALS AND TREES..NOT AT ALL!!
Posted on August 27th, 2010 at 9:18 pm
Ok you can only plow fallow plots. Not sure people will like this feature. There are so many other games where you can do this.
Posted on August 27th, 2010 at 9:18 pm
as long as I have the option of denying the help I wouldn’t mind. I enjoy harvesting my crops and trees. Spmetimes I wouldn’t mind help harvesting animals
Posted on August 27th, 2010 at 9:19 pm
im wondering when they will implement a “wishlist gifting” feature as is in Vampire Wars, Mafia Wars, Frontierville and a few other Zynga games. I get a LOT of things i dont need and i would rather pass them on to my neighbors who actually need them than waste time selling them.
Posted on August 27th, 2010 at 9:20 pm
I wouldn’t mind others doing my trees, but as far as my plants,
I don’t think I would like that, cause I’m trying to get all the masteries,
Besides I like doing my own .
Posted on August 27th, 2010 at 9:21 pm
Seriously, I do not want my neighbors tending to my farm! It’s MY FARM, dang it! I purposely time my trees & animals to be ready at different/specific times & am seriously going to be furious if they come & screw it up!
Posted on August 27th, 2010 at 9:23 pm
Don’t like this feature at all – I want to plow my own land, harvest my own crops, animals and trees. What about using bushels for harvesting?? I don’t want to plant a whole field of carnival squash only to discover someone else has harvested it and I only get half the mastery points without a bushel having been used. If this an option that the owner of the farm can decide, then not so awful, but I for one DO NOT want other people farming my farm! I’m level 96 and have gotten there through hard work, I don’t want other people ‘helping’ me!!!!
Posted on August 27th, 2010 at 9:24 pm
Thanks Julie for the info, just went back and filled the pigpen with piglets because they take awhile to mature outside and they make 80 coins per time, unlike other pigs. that means i was able to sell all the party pigs i requested yesterday for 150 coins a pop.
Posted on August 27th, 2010 at 9:29 pm
The pigpen is disappointing at only a 20 capacity, I have tons more pigs who need a home!! I really wish we could add more than one chicken coop… I love FV though, very relaxing game, I find that when I am driving in the country looking at farms I compare it to my farm lol. keep up the good work!
Posted on August 27th, 2010 at 9:29 pm
Hey guys! I’m not too keen on the trees, however no where did it say anything about actually planting and/or harvesting crops. It only mentions plowing, though depending on how many plots you can plow at one time, some people might end up with rather crude messages plowed into their fields.
Posted on August 27th, 2010 at 9:36 pm
One of the things I detested about Farm Town was all the other players begging to work on my farm when I went to the Marketplace to sell my harvests. Even worse was when non-neighbors showed up uninvited and begging for work. I quit that game a long time ago.
When are we getting pig slop and truffles?
Posted on August 27th, 2010 at 9:37 pm
don’t want anyone messing with my animals
Posted on August 27th, 2010 at 9:38 pm
Why don’t they address the fact that about 30% of my neighbors (myself included) have lost their game feed in the last week?
Posted on August 27th, 2010 at 9:43 pm
I don’t like others working my farm unless I say so, I want the choice. I don’t like the bushels being used taking away from my mastering. I have done tomatoes 3 times after getting 2 stars and still have not got the mastery. I like most of the changes so far but I don’t think I am going to like this change. I like the fact of enlarging buildings. I will not use my bakery any longer because I have run out of $ and I will not put more money into it. We put cash into the farm and get nothing back. Why can’t we have a choice at times when selling things, like cash or coins.
Posted on August 27th, 2010 at 9:52 pm
I don’t want other people to be able to do my crops, animals, and trees. They can fert. and feed, but other than that I want to do it because I have certain times I harvest. If neighbors are able to start harvesting my stuff I will quit this game!
Posted on August 27th, 2010 at 9:57 pm
I don’t like the idea of someone else doing my farm. That’s why I play farmville and am dedicated to it because I enjoy it. No I don’t like this idea and if it goes through I hope we have the option to decline the help. I’m proud of my farm and working on my own masteries. I hope I don’t have to quit this game. I have a lot of time and effort in it.
Posted on August 27th, 2010 at 9:59 pm
Sure, what next? neighbors blowing my FV cash on the mystery game??
Posted on August 27th, 2010 at 10:09 pm
Yeah, I’m not so sure about this ‘work on others farms’ thing for a combination of what others have mentioned.
-I don’t want my trees done because I try to time them so I can just use my arborists to do them all, but that wouldn’t be the end of the world I guess…
-I definitely don’t want them harvesting for me, as I am going for mastery signs, and using bushels to do so, and time them specifically to my availability. Sometimes I plant them knowing they will sit for 2 hours until I get home, but I know they won’t wilt by then– I’m gonna be pissed if I come home and someone’s harvested random plots.
-I don’t mind them plowing fallow areas (not that I barely ever have any except just after a harvest), but I can see it causing problems for others– What if I have a large withered crop and just want to use my unwither to fix it?
That being said, it’d be nice to be able to do to farmers who have stopped playing and have nothing but fallow lots, so I can’t get my daily XP from them– I could fix that and get a couple extra XP a day that way… And if for some reason I did have fallow plots it’d be nice for them to plow them for me and save me some money and time and gas…. But like I said, I rarely have fallow plots. So…
So basically I want them to be able to do some, but not all. If it works like Frontierville, it will be accept all/decline all. Do not like…
Also, I’m surprised people need to expand their nursery barns. I can’t keep mine stocked things keep growing up every day… I’d rather them expand them, as in, make them grow different horses, instead of turning rare horses into freaking grey horses/black horses. I do need more expansion room for my normal horse barn, and the pigpen needs to be able to be expanded for sure, it isn’t even holding half my pigs!
Posted on August 27th, 2010 at 10:16 pm
I’m waiting to see how the neighbor thing goes but people need to pause and re-read. NO WHERE in that write up does it say anything about your neighbors being able to plant or harvest your crops. It says “plow fallow land.” Period. So I wouldn’t jump to conclusions.

Posted on August 27th, 2010 at 10:18 pm
I don’t like this feature about neighbors tending other neighbor farrms either.
It’s bad enough they can’t tend their own why should they do others. Keep that option on Frontierville not Farmville please Zynga.
Otherwise I will have to post signs saying “beware of the dogs” all over =)
Posted on August 27th, 2010 at 10:23 pm
ALl I know is if anyone harvest my animals and trains, I’ll be busting heads.
Posted on August 27th, 2010 at 10:33 pm
I have lots of spare time on my hands. I do not want neighbors to harvest, collect, plow, etc. because it would take away the pleasure I get from doing it myself, giving me something to do. I especially do not want them to be able to click on the stable, nursery, dairy and coop when they are ready for collection. No further neighbor help needed than fertilizing crops and feeding chickens. Period….!
Posted on August 27th, 2010 at 11:11 pm
Nursery expansion,,,WTF,,,we get crap from it now!!!And i will tell you when the neighbors start harvesting and plowing on my land they will get deleted!!!Its bad enough now that i have little ghost avatars on my farm when they visit, and maybe i dont want my stuff harvested, plowed,or gain xp points or coins,i watch my money,,Farmville already has lost almost 2 million from my account and why should i have to accept or decline there help like frontierville,,this is FARMVILLE,,leave it be,,we dont want this game the same as every other game,i quit fishville because of the farm crap showing up,quit frontierville because all the stuff is the same(animals),,quit farmtown too,,,come on Zynga,,leave Farmville as Farmville and quit trying to mimic every other game you have,,its really getting pathetic,,,whats next,,a horse from Farmville with its head cut off laying in a bed on Mafia Wars,,come on,,get real,,leave the game alone and fix the standing issues, and give us back our mystery boxes!!For those of us that pay our real cash for stuff so the neighbors can come and reap the rewards from our special things, your going to have some really pissed off farmers!!!!
Posted on August 27th, 2010 at 11:41 pm
your neighbors will only be able to plow fallow land. not harvest and plant.
Posted on August 28th, 2010 at 12:33 am
I DON’T WANT ANYONE HARVESTING FROM MY FARM!! I am growing crops for ME!! My time, MY crops! Most people have real jobs and obligations that must take priority in their lives. FV is a diversion to be enjoyed at THEIR leisure. I will be some kind of pissed off if someone has come along and snagged my crops after I have put the effort and time in them. That is just not right. you can play the game yourselfs because I will never play it again. There are too many other games out there for me to enjoy rather than be pissed off and aggravated by FV.
Posted on August 28th, 2010 at 12:47 am
Just a fyi:
This is an exact copy of the info that was put out for those who need some clarification..
” This new feature will allow you to complete functions on your neihgbors’ farms, you can harvest their trees, collect from their animals, and plow fallow land. ”
This specifically says HARVEST TREES, COLLECT FROM ANIMALS and Plow.
My neighbors can plow to their little hearts content….but NO HARVESTING OR COLLECTING should be allowed without the owners permission.
Posted on August 28th, 2010 at 2:04 am
at any given time I have over forty arborists and farmhands. There has never been a more than ten minute period of time where I didnt have crops planted so at least from my perspective this whole thing seems useless. Good luck trying to do anything to my farm I’m on top of it lol.
Posted on August 28th, 2010 at 2:07 am
nursery is kind of useless now as we already got creamclydesdale/bluepony etc. I dont think any use of expansion.
Neighbour helping also not seems useful.
Posted on August 28th, 2010 at 2:38 am
I’m not sure about this new feature. But I don’t mind. It’ll not work for me coz I log in to my farm every 1 or 2 hours LOL
Posted on August 28th, 2010 at 2:51 am
I hope the “plowing” doesn’t include plowing over withered crops.
Funny as it sounds I actually sometimes “allow” my crops to wither rather than stress about getting to them on time (like 2 hour crops). I have a few of those free unwithers left from ages ago and like to revive them at a convenient time…. would not be good if someone plowed over them : (
Posted on August 28th, 2010 at 3:12 am
lol, I’m surprised you people don’t break more bones the way you all leap to such insane conclusions.
Oh Noes! My precious crop masteries: They did not say CROPS could be harvested.
Oh Noes! My tree harvesting rhythm is borked: Seriously, what negative can come from harvesting a tree sooner? The other 962 trees will still be ready at your pre-calculated ideal harvesting time. Not to mention, if you really are that anal about your trees to have it down to a stopwatch, they won’t be ready to harvest until the exact second you log in anyway, so they won’t be able to harvest anything for you.
Oh Noes! My foal got harvested: Awe, there’s one less foal you can’t “force grow” by stuffing your nursery one at a time and harvesting. Sorry, that’s not the intended way for you to raise your animals into adults.
Posted on August 28th, 2010 at 4:06 am
Will not want anyone to harverst my animals or plots.
Posted on August 28th, 2010 at 4:48 am
I can’t wait for the Nursery Barn expansion. I have lots of foals and calves since I absolutely love them but they take a lot of space. I hope it’ll appear real soon.
Posted on August 28th, 2010 at 7:12 am
The worst thing about this podcast is the fact that others can harvest on my farm. Don’t like that at all!!!! They should create the possibility of someone reviving my crops, in case they have withered…
Posted on August 28th, 2010 at 7:21 am
I am happy for the expansions. I will be able to put my rare foals that are displayed away. I need more space on my farm for themes. Maybe they are coming up with newer style horses?
Another farm expansion or additional farm would be nice tho.
The visiting of friends farms I kind of don’t like. I know it didn’t say anything about harvesting anything and that is good but I also time my trees and animals so I can harvest them all at once. Maybe they will get the points but wont change anything you see? Who knows.
Like a few people said on here, I am on top of my farm and they wouldn’t be able to do too much to mine.
It would be great if they could focus on the out of sync issues before anything else. I have to work longer than I should just to make up for what I lost.
Posted on August 28th, 2010 at 7:21 am
I think you should only be able to do it if you don’t play for a certain amount of time. For instance, if you haven’t played in a week, your neighbors should be able to harvest, etc. but if it’s just any regular day… it would totally throw off my scheduling.
Posted on August 28th, 2010 at 7:40 am
I have to agree with the majority of comments so far – I like to do my own farming and tend to my own farm. Leave it alone except for the fertilizing and chicken feeding – I can do the other items at my timeframe and schedule and prefer things this way.
1 – I like to harvest all my trees in my “forest” when they are all matured – not just as a certain group is ready – makes a large contribution to my fortune.
2 – Leave my animals and barns alone – I do them as a set so that they all are ready at the same time and I can collect my items and send them to selected people that need a rare horse foal or calf for their farms.
3 – I have no fallow land unless I have just harvested and even then I will take care of it b4 I plant my next crop. As soon as I have taken care of my bakery functions – I decide what crop to plant based on the next mastery – so it only takes 5 minutes to work on the details – prefer to do my own decisions.
If they are bored with their farms and have the extra time to go and play on other farms to gain XP and whatnot – then they need a real life – leave my farm to me and my neighbors understand that I help them with special gifts and requests and they get taken care of when I get the time to stop by and fertilize and help on their farm – otherwise I would not participate and ruin their schedule and joy of taking care of their farm – they play for a reason and that is to learn what to do to complete projects.
The BEST thing that FV could do instead of this feature would be to create a Gift exchange program so that I can send things to my friends that are already in my inventory or storage and my friends need to complete a set or something that they are collection. Seems like a nature progression.
Nursery expansion – please fix the current setup first before you expand – I don’t even place my rare animals in the nursery – lost too many that turned into ordinary grown-up horses and cows that are not needed as much as a rare animal.
Posted on August 28th, 2010 at 9:26 am
The single most exciting thing in this podcast is the LAST part. reminds me of the FRONTIER
Posted on August 28th, 2010 at 9:51 am
I am thinking maybe it will give an option of harvesting animals and trees if someone has been away for awhile like it does with the unwither when you stumble upon an abandoned farm. Where someone has been away for a while. I normally plow after harvesting even if I don’t plant a crop. But I have a system with my horses so I don’t think I would want anyone messing with them.
Posted on August 28th, 2010 at 10:44 am
I HOPE ZYNGA DOES NOT LET NEIGHBORS HARVEST ANYTHING, PLOWING MY LAND IS FINE BUT NOT SOMEBODY HARVESTING MY STUFF BUT I DO LIKE THE NURSERY EXPANSION BUT NOT THE NEIGHBORS HARVESTING THING
Posted on August 28th, 2010 at 11:00 am
I was almost excited about the Nursery expansion, but I never get anything from it anyway, and when I did, my Haflinger foal grew into a black horse, and my Longhorn calf grew into a Brown cow. WTH?? So I dont put much of anything in it anyway. If my calves and foals grew into what they actually are, then Id be excited!
Posted on August 28th, 2010 at 11:00 am
I do not want anyone else haevesting anything on my farm. I don’t intend to mess with anyone else’s farm, and I don’t wany anyone messing with mine. There needs to be a switch to be able to turn this feature off.
Posted on August 28th, 2010 at 11:09 am
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO please, PLEASE PLEASE FARMVILLE…do not turn this into Frontierville!!!! I want to do my own farming, I don’t want others to be able to harvest my animals!
Posted on August 28th, 2010 at 11:43 am
NO, NO, NO!!!!! DO NOT MESS WITH MY FARM!!!! I WILL SHOOT ALL TRESPASSERS ON SIGHT!!!!
Posted on August 28th, 2010 at 12:14 pm
Farmers — we need to unite and let Farmville know that WE DO NOT WISH FOR THAT KIND OF HELP! I love being able to help my friends by feeding their chickens in the coop and fertilizing their land….other than that….that is their farm to do with as they enjoy! I don’t like Frontierville for that very reason and will not play. C’mon Zynga…different strokes for different folks. There are those that love how frontierville is played – cool! GREAT! And then there are those of us that enjoy how Farmville is played…please keep it separate!
Posted on August 28th, 2010 at 12:14 pm
And yes…I know this is not FARMVILLE here, LOL! I’m just so upset and need to blab! LOL
Posted on August 28th, 2010 at 1:33 pm
Well the Zynga Community forums discussions are all running against this idea like 8-1 against this possible new feature (being able to collect off trees and animals etc).
I know they read those forums so if enough experience players voice their displeasure they will find different ways of improving the game without “knocking over the apple cart” as they say.
Don;t want Farvmille to turn into Frontierville or FarmTown.
Posted on August 28th, 2010 at 2:03 pm
Please don’t let neighbours collect from trees and animals. Plowing is fine.
Posted on August 28th, 2010 at 2:13 pm
Some of us don’t harvest our trees on purpose as we try to make our farms as artful as possible. If they do set it up, I hope they do it like Farm Town (which is a much more socially interactive game). If any of your neighbors are “on” at the same time as you, you can hire them to work your farm and vice versa. Or you can do it all yourself. it’s your choice. You can also hire random peeps from the marketplace, which is also fun. I’ve become farming neighbors with people from all over the world that way.
Posted on August 28th, 2010 at 2:42 pm
http://lotto.zynga.com?ref=fbt&zid=31075405479&h=55a4 plz send i always always send back!
Posted on August 28th, 2010 at 2:58 pm
I agree with many people here. I’m the only one who is able to harvest my crops, and I hope it will be forever like this. Then, if my neighbours have the ability to do my farm, so I don’t have any reason to play it. If I want to give them the “job” of farmkeeper, it is okay to do my farm. Of course there no vacancy to this “job” in my farm.
WE FARMERS MUST BE TOGETHER ON THIS!!! NO NEIGHBOURS DOING MY FARM!
We have to send e-mails to Zynga about what we think about it. JOIN ME, PLEASE! TOGETHER WE HAVE THE POWER TO CHANGE THAT IDEA!!!!!
Posted on August 28th, 2010 at 3:18 pm
Moreover, if the issue is to be an interaction game, so why did they remove the mystery box? I could send it to my neighbours and vice-versa. Now there is the mystery game…I can’t send it to my friends.
Posted on August 28th, 2010 at 3:31 pm
I don’t harvest my trees I like the look of them in full bloom. I know not a big thing to some but we all have decorations on our farms well my trees are part of my decorations.
Collecting from animals does this mean my neighbours can turn my ugly ducklings into swans? If so then I hope there is a decline help option.
Plowing fallow plots is ok as long as I still get xp from it and it does not cost me any coins and as long as it is not too many. I don’t want to come home to nasty messages written in my field
Posted on August 28th, 2010 at 3:33 pm
The only benefit I can see of other people working my farm is when I am on vacation, or if my internet goes down.
Posted on August 28th, 2010 at 4:04 pm
What about those of us that rotate our cows and horses to make foals and calfs for our neighbors. I may not have time to fertalize my neighbors farms but I own 2 of every cow and horse ever released so I can make it all. Thats the benifit to being my neighbor
plus I gift, but beyond all that if people can harvest my animals they will not be ready for me to rotate them and make cute foals and calfs
NO GOOD ZYNGA… BAD IDEA!
Posted on August 28th, 2010 at 4:50 pm
Touch my farm and you DIE!!!!!
Posted on August 28th, 2010 at 5:47 pm
I like the expanded nursery barns, it would still be nice to have two one for calves and one for foals. Yes I am OCD. I like the idea of helping neighbors, it gets old spraying and reviving the same crops all the time. Bigger chicken coops would also help, expansion to 100.
Posted on August 28th, 2010 at 6:08 pm
A) CALM DOWN!!!!!
B) I imagine that as several people have said, the neighbors “help” can be accepted or declined, like in Frontierville- no worry about the timing, as you have to be on your farm to accept or decline the help, then either watch the avatars do the work ( 1 of the things I though was cool about FrontierVille), or do it your self
C) Even if they could harvest, it would not take away from you, as they are harvesting for you, not themselves- they get bonuses for doing so, but it takes nothing away from you
D)CALM DOWN!!!!
E) Enjoy this FREE game!!!!!
Posted on August 28th, 2010 at 6:15 pm
FV has to give us a sign written “warning, furious dog!”….or in my case: “warning, crazy farmer!” haha Then my neighbours will think twice before harvesting my crops.
Posted on August 28th, 2010 at 8:21 pm
no trespassing on my farm! it’s private property!
Posted on August 28th, 2010 at 8:23 pm
I can see where this new feature of visiting and harvesting your friends animals and trees could be a problem. I kind of like the idea of visiting and plowing a friends farm though. A few of my neighbors dont even plow their fields anymore….one even hiding unplowed fields behind buildings. But i agree with a allow/deny feature brought up or a way to turn the feature off.
Posted on August 28th, 2010 at 9:21 pm
Some of you farmers are really looking at the down sides of the feature that is to come. Sure, there are some good cons in there, but look at the pros:
Pros:
- You could get Coins and XP for doing nothing. If you are on vacation for a week, and someone is taking care of your animals and trees, then you BOTH benefit from it. I don’t see much wrong with that.
Does it really matter if you have a timed tree harvesting system? All of the trees get harvested at some point, so does it matter WHEN it’s done. With the new feature, you can FORGET about harvesting trees anyways, because others will harvest them for you! Ditto with animals. This may be a feature you should take advantage of, and not one to criticize.
Posted on August 28th, 2010 at 10:30 pm
I’m not crazy about the idea of the change for Neighbor visits either. I have animals I have purposefully NOT transformed. I may have plots unplowed on purpose as I may be deleting them. It’s MY farm…..fertilizing and feeding chickens is one thing….but, all this extra stuff —- Not Liking this idea at all. I have played FrontierVille….no comparison to FarmVille really. I DO NOT PLAY FrontierVille on a regular basis…..I DO NOT like many of the functions and features of FrontierVille. Sure do wish they would keep their Games Separate!!!!!

Podcast was good. Nice to see the FV help neighbors thing coming soon

If I am on vacation, I just don’t grow the plants. It’s simple like this. I don’t need a neighbour to do my farm. It’s MY farm and I do what I want with it. I want to see my farm growing because of my work. It’s selfish, but it’s what I think.
I almost don’t have time to have fun, but when I play FV, my stress goes away. If a neighbour does my farm, where’s the fun with the game? I really don’t need a farmkeeper.

I’m baffled as to why Zynga has to screw up things that are working well.
I like to leave my trees with fruit and harvest ALL my animals at the same time. This is one of the worst ideas you’ve ever had. If the powers that be can’t keep their hands off it, at least provide a “disable” feature so we can manage our own farms at times we choose to do it.
Horrible idea. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.

Sad thing is that we hate the idea but they’re going to do it anyway.

@Monika -
Ok I have read and listen, Maybe you should too because it is NOT just to be able to plow fallow land. Neighbours CAN harvest from the trees, neighbours CAN collect from the animals. So it is NOT just plowing fallow land!!
***************
This new feature will allow you to complete functions on your neighbors’ farms, you can harvest their trees, collect from their animals, and plow fallow land
****************
The plowing of fallow land is ok in my eyes as long as it is not too many plots, as I do not wish to see messages written in my field.
My trees I do not harvest them at all, I like the look of them in full bloom and use them as decoration.
As for collecting from the animals, well I do not want my ugly ducklings being transformed. I have them as ugly ducklings for a reason, cos it is my farm and I like how they look.

ABSOLUTELY NOT!!! I have worked hard on my farm. No one should be able to do anything to it. I plant and harvest everything when I get off work. Animals and trees are all harvested at a certain time. I do not want ANYONE messing with my farm. I will delete anyone that messes with it. Not everyone can stay home and play farmville all day.
Besides, if they plow and plant fallow land, who’s fuel do they use??? And maybe some of us like having a tiny bit of space empty. Since farmville is always coming out with new junk. We have to have a space for that junk.

1. I am disappointed that FV has not listened to its players and worked on its issues instead of rolling out more and more things. I have many neighbors and work coops. With the exception of a few days after the FarmVille freak survey telling them to tend their business, there has not been a day without issues for at least 1 in 3 players. They have not solved major problems like the excessive time taken to accept gifts either!
2. This “upgrade” changes the face of the game and adds many more clicks. I too have tried FrontierVille and quit it. It was simply too demanding with all the people begging for help and all the tasks going on. You were assigned all your tasks and goals. That took all the fun out of it for me. I feel we would loose the ability to decide HOW we play the game, what strategies we employ, and how we choose to interact with our neighbors.
3. I agree with most of the posters. I am on level 83 and have invested a lot in this game, but would quit if the harvesting decisions on the cows and horses is taken away from us.
4. I find knowing some of the people who fertilize and being able to thank them beneficial, but DO NOT want any increase in the things I have to thank people for nor do I want more mssgs. on my fields!
5. I am very disappointed in not being able to send mystery gifts and/or FV cash as a thank you to special neighbors. I would very much like to also be able to buy and send special horses and foals. I understand that might allow opportunities for hackers, but surely you can solve that without taking the whole feature from us!
6. The posters that I have read above did not address another problem with the announced changes. If others harvested our chicken houses, barns and nurseries, it would negate the ability to share special findings with special friends and that is an ability that I hold dear.
Please consider that that raising the horses and foals is the only major difference between you and FarmTown, which I played until level 100 before coming to this game. Do not mess it up!!! Thank you!
