The FarmVille Pot of Gold and gold collection festivities in honor of St. Patrick’s Day ends tomorrow, March 23rd at 9pm PT (Pacific Time).
Until then, this will be your last chance to send and request Gold pieces to your FarmVille neighbors. After tomorrow, the Gold pieces will be retired from the free Gifting Page. Make sure you get enough Gold pieces to trade-in for the redeemable St. Patrick’s Day exclusive prizes.
Even though the Pot of Gold is ending, there are hints that Easter celebrations including the “Colorful Eggs” will be coming very soon, possibly tomorrow!

I hope it’s something different than the collections. They need to change it up a bit! I think the Easter egg “hunt” would be much more fun, instead of just sending/receiving!

I love Easter it is my favorite holiday. I am also excited about the new spring items. I am all ready to decorate my farm for Easter. Saint Patties gold has been redeemed and in storage. Ready to hunt for colorful eggs!!

I hope they skip the sending/receiving thing for Easter and go with a hunt or at least something different. It’s only a “challenge” for those without hundreds of friends. On the first day of the gold thing, I had friends with over 300 pieces right away.

@26. So true. It isn’t challenging to gather items like gold or valentines. And it is such a pain to accept them and then have to click them from the gift box over and over again. There should be an option to accept all gifts at once AND they should automatically go into the mailbox or pot. Just like the fuel does.

I’m hoping the Easter Eggs will be similar to the Christmas presents (Holiday, if you’re politically correct), but you have a chance of finding them in your neighbours’ farms, as well as being giftable…just a chance to get some limited edition stuff that was a little out of reach when it was first released.

I do think we’ll get an Easter basket, but the method of getting those eggs might change, as in, we get eggs feeding our neighbors chickens, or maybe by fertilizing, plowing, harvesting trees.. just like a regular Easter egg hunt. Either ways sounds fun! Will at least encourage people to get out and help their neighbors!
Am I the only one who won’t sell their big fat valentine box or gold pot? I’ve sent gold out and people have told me they’ve already sold their pot.. why on earth? LOL. I still have about 800 in my pot of gold (1200 total) and about 120 or so in my VD box. (oh haha)
I just hope we’re not building anything for a while. I built 3 Maisons because I’m insane.

I like the valentines/gold — I only have 45 friends, and I got over 600. More than enough to buy and share what I wanted, without it totally dominating gifting. loved building the maison, & the gold/valentines.
can’t wait to see what they do for easter!

Eggs must be elusive as no one here has posted a pic and someone ALWAYS has this stuff fast.
I am glad the gold thing over and dread the easter basket if that’s what it is. I collected about 250, but I only have about 5 friends. So you can imagine how tedious that was. The stupid thing is, I only needed 110 since the only interesting prizes to me are the castle and the sheep.

By the Joshua, you are not alone. Neither do I care for puppies whose price would be amounting 40 to 60 Cash. I never had such kind of money to waste on a small creature. Yeah, some new buildings would be fine.
