FarmVille Scam: Beware of “FarmVille Rewards”

It has been a while, but it seems as though the mischief makers are back at work. A new scam seems to be circulating Facebook.
This new scam offers “Dairy Rewards” to FarmVille players provided you “Like” their page and give your personal information for this app to access.
Please note that this is a scam! This is NOT the Official Zynga FarmVille game notice.
Scams like these tend to gain access to your information and then post out links without your permission.
FarmVille Freak would like to make you aware of such scams at the earliest possible time so that your accounts are protected from them. If you see unusual Facebook activity on your news feed, report it or mark it as spam right away.
In case your account is affected by one of these scams, be sure to block any unfamiliar apps from your “Application Settings” and change your password for protection.
Also, don’t forget to share this post with your wonderful friends and neighbors so they are aware of it!

I was sent an invitation from a friend, and thought, oh this does not look right, so I checked it out and I was right…..this is just another one of those scams. How do they keep doing this and why?

How to block this app? Every attempt to block it (it shows up as FarmViIIe Bonus) instead shunts it to a forced invitation to participate.
