FarmVille Transferable Storage is Now Live!

A few days ago FarmVille Freak told you about Transferable Storage coming soon, it is now live and ready for you to start transferring- if you’ve completed all the English Countryside Quests!
That’s right to unlock Transferable Storage you will need to complete English Countryside Quests and will receive Transferable Storage as the grand prize for saving the English Countryside Village. After completing the English Countryside Quest “A Great Start” you will unlock Transferable Storage. If you need help on completing the English Countryside Quests be sure to check out our FarmVille Freak Guides.

- FarmVille English Countryside Quest Master Guide Part IV
This means that any items that you have stored in your Storage Cellar’s inventory can be transferred from one farm to the other. However, some items remain “locked” to Home Farm or English Countryside Farm. For example, if an item cannot be placed into storage, such as Unwither Rings, then there is no way to move it between farms.

That’s Great!!! BUT, We STILL neeed more storage. We still have the same amonut of items with the same amount of space unless we want to pay that rediculas amount of Farmcash to expnad out English farms which I REFUSE! I’d rather pay for more storage than for more land myself, but think they should BOTH BE FREE since it only gives us more space to spend more money and buy more stuff. WAKE UP ZYNGA!

Ok,
the quest came up when I entered my ECF but I went to my original for and came back and the mission was gone!
I had already started part of it! I hope they fix it because I want to be able to move items from one place to another!

Why will some items be locked when the congratulation window says “You can transfer ANY item in storage from one farm to the other.”

No Catches, just complete the quests. I have it and it is great. Oh and the sheep breeding now works got chameleon ewe using both ram and ewe. Wow!!!!

This is GREAT … well… it would be great if I could get into my gift box and the market. I would love to have the problem fixed and THEN enjoy the transfer business. I’ve been waiting for days for Zynga to fix the gift box/market thing. ugh. I’ve notified them several times, but now, I see what’s been occupying their time.

This is fantastic, I can’t finish these quests fast enough. I’m so excited to pull over some of the decorations and animals from my home farm that I’ve always wanted to decorate my English farm.

only 500 items per farm…you can now plant crops that were for original farm only on the english farm…i’ve been transferring back and forth to both farms all night

Kewl…another glitchy thing on farmville. All things are locked to either English or Home farm. What is the use??? Along with oversized sheep and pig pens, bought sheep that only produce pink … what is there to get excited about?

I’m happy to see that upon completion of the EC Quests we will now be able to move things between farms. But, it still doesn’t eliminate the need to at least double the storage per farm to 1,000….some players aren’t gonna be willing or able to do all of the quests. I’m almost there but I’m probably the exception.
If Zynga just digs in their heels and refuses to increase storage beyond 500, then unfortunately the best I can hope for is just to remove all my EC plots (I don’t care about mastering all the EC crops) and just use my EC farm as just a massive storage area, and just never go back unless I want something.
So yes, it’s a good start, but I hope they don’t use this as an excuse to not increase the standard storage levels!

^That is what I was going to ask. Will we still have 500 storage spaces available on both our English and Home Farms? Or will it be 500 storage spaces total?
Right now my Home Farm’s storage is capped at 500 and I have probably 200 items in storage on my English Farm. So there might be an issue with that.

Well it is about time this happened!! I have been hoping this happened since the england farming started and now it has!! This is awesome!! There are so many things that I have on my home farm that I want on my England farm and now it is possible! Thank you zynga for listening to what the players want! Now it is time to give us more storage space and then the game would be perfect!

I accomplished everything and received the storage exchange and the mansion on the English countryside, I placed it and then when I went back to my farm it was gone, it just disappeared. I sent an e-mail to Zynga and am waiting for a response has this happened to anyone else

How can you have no time for quests? Most of the quests are composed of tasks you’d do anyway, grow crops. harvest animal buildings and master recipes and such. And if you have to make a post asking friends to donate party hats or whatever, that’s not difficult to do.

That is awesome to hear, but how can people complete the English Countryside missions if they can not plant seeds, or open the market place. A lot of people have gone 5 days now and the birthday mission has like 9 or 10 days left. I myself am stuck on an English Countryside mission and I would love to transfer my storage.

It appears that your missing some Quests in your Guides.
I’m currently at the “The Key to the Castle” Quest. I believe there may be a couple more after that, until I get to Part 4 Quests which are described in the above guide.

you can breed sheep on both farms now just wish they would let me breed to do the quest keep telling me i have already breed 100 sheep ive given up selling then today as still does not let me breerd to finish the quest

To Stephanie #33. I have always been able to breed sheep on my home farm. If you can’t, you may need to contact Zynga and have them check into it.
As for the storage, does anyone know if it truly is ANY item in storage, even the things that were once locked? I have some decorations that were locked that I would like to move and some locked animals I’d like to move the other direction. But the giftbox wouldn’t let me place them where I wanted.
I guess it really doesn’t matter, I will do the quests because as someone already stated, most of the stuff I will do anyway, and if the storage doesn’t live up to the hype, I’m not out anything, I will still be able to move some things around and get closer to having things where I want them.

@ Alienor – The quests really are fun! There is no time limit and if you really work at it all the quests can be finished in a little over a week. Use the guides and you can sometimes look ahead and finish two quests in one day. The storage thing is AWESOME! Thanks Zynga.

I cannot complete the quests due to the bugs on the farm. Excited? More like pop my balloon and run it over? Farmville get with it. I cannot plant nor can I open the market. Pffffftttttt!

Not only does the storage unlock, but now we are able to plant the English and Home Farm crops on any farm that we like, that includes the greenhouse crops in england and england crops at home. Yeah!!!

Maeyn I have really no time to visit friend’s farms ; if I want to have coins on games, I only crop, then decorate, it was I play to YV and FV since several years, spend a huge amount of real $, just to decorate, this is what I like

I don’t know if this is a glitch but I am able to plant most, not all of the crops from original farm on my English farm. I just planted corn on my English farm. I still need to master the crops that take over a day to grow. Now I can use my English farm. This is too cool if it is not a glitch. I thought my English farm was a waste until I found out I could grow original farm crops.

I’m thrilled with the storage, but I’m even more overjoyed about the crops being unlocked for all farms. Now I can put my EC crops on my bigger home farm with my unwither ring, and move my animals to England. I’m picturing my home farm as the money maker and the EC farm as my display for all my decorations.
As Rusty said, if it doesn’t work perfectly, oh well, no big deal, I’m still no worse off than I am now.
Great job Zynga, still working on the quests, but if all works as described, sounds like you’ve made lots of people very happy, including me.

Quests are a pain for me…whenever I go to post ANYTHING, all I get in the window is a blue box with the word Facebook in white. I can’t ask anybody for anything, and I am so far behind of this last set of quests, I can’t even click on anybody’s post to get the items!

Farmville Farms: Transferring from one farm to another, I can not do this. It keeps putting my farm out of sync with server and re-aligns it again. Fix this Zynga. BTY, I’m in Canada. Anyone else having issues like mine?

It would be nice if it actually worked. I tried for an hour to move some animals from English to home farm. I would move two and then would get an out of sync error and would have to start over!

I just finished the quest and tried to transfer a beachball ram/ewe to the home farm but they dissapeared… any one else had this problem?

Aargh! I just transferred two rams with specific patterns to my other farm but when they arrived on the other farm, the pattern was GONE!

#53 Tressa – I’ve had the same problem! Happened to me with 2 boars, 1 sow and 1 ram! So frustrating! And now I can’t even breed with them, and they are constantly changing color…I don’t know what’s going on!

Since a couple of days, I am having problems in sending out friends’ requests for grape juice (am at the last stage of the quest).
I did not touch any privacy setting, but it just does not work.
Anyone else upset abt the same thing?
Does not make any sense the whole thing gets blocked 1 week before deadline!

How do you get “Transferable Storage”? I have 4 farms and too much to keep up with. Had trees on Home, animals on Cove and Winter and mastery signs on English and I want them all on one farm. It will not let me transfer. I put my mastery billboards on Winter and cant move my signs to the billboards.
