might be real, but could have been a swap using the local server..
renaming the border_collie.swf to the chicken.. replacing the chickens with the dog, since it IS on their server now.
but still neat, none the less..

he probably didn’t hover over the dog as it would have said ‘gold chicken’ or whatever its listed as.

says ‘pet’ in which could be another small animal like the cat. the cat also ‘jumps up’ and does the hearts, just like the dog in the video.
notice how when he clicks on it, he doesn’t show what it said when he hovered over it…..
also check the scale of the golden retriever vs the border collie, the retriever is small as hell and border collie seems appropriate sized. the golden retriever is scaled smaller like a cat.. the border collie’s ‘switch’ was probably with a bigger scaled animal to show it as a bigger size..
the ‘golden retriever’ is actually a cat in the video.. the .swf is just changed using a local server of some type..

i’m not sure exactly, but its not that hard at all. you just have it look for the stuff on your computer as opposed to looking for in on the internet. its how people change the scale of things and such on some of the youtube videos.

well some people get released things early, but this is definitely not one of them..
scaling issues
same ‘pet’ animation as the cat, along with the small scale of the golden retriever..
the way it kinda works, is when your stuff loads, it looks for /animals/cat_icon.swf or whatever.. if its told to look for cat_icon/swf on your computer and you had saved the /golden_retriever.swf as cat_icon.swf.. it will show the golden retriever image/animation..
it would be like if you uploaded a picture and came up with this link: http://www.photobucket.com/myname/coolcar.jpg... then opened it up.. would show the image you uploaded.. but if you deleted the image, then uploaded a new image and refreshed, the new image would take its place..

yes, it would show up like that anywhere it looks for the certain .swf file and had been changed to look for it on your machine or server.

dawn, different concept..
the ‘present’ file would have had a timer attached to them, the cheat engine would have disabled or reduced the timer in some manner.
with the dog, the only thing thats been released or ‘found’ that i know of is the .swf and .png which people are just swapping out for other animals.

I totally agree with just about everyone. The Golden Retriever and Border Collie that are shown in the two videos are fake. He avoids putting the cursor over the dogs at all cost. Not once is the mouse placed on the dogs and Jay, I watched the “second” video and it’s the same as the first one. He does not hover the mouse over the dogs. Not only that, we are supposed to be able to teach these dogs tricks and it did not say anything in the selection about having the dog do a trick. It was just move, sell, allow to walk, rotate and pet. Same as on all other animals. These dogs are to be pets, not just an animal on the farm to harvest.

they just took the moving images that were posted on your site not that long agp, thats why theres no sheepdog. also, there are multiple golden retrievers and they made it sound like there would only be 1 per person

How boring if you could only “pet” them like every other animal…
by the way, I don’t know why you cannot pet the rabbits.. I’d rather pet a rabbit than a calf or turtle or whatever.
Hopefully there will be a possibility to get a dog for 1 million coins or farm cash. Then you’d have a choice. You can buy it with real money, or you can stay for hours on farmville to gain coins and zynga gets money throug advertisement for example..
If the video is a fake? Well I guess somebody tried it out, how it would look like with these animations, don’t know yet if this will be the final version, hope not, because everybody expects more than just one animal like all the other ones.

I’m so over the dog thing i’m looking forward to the birds more than the dogs they totally ruined it with all the hype and teasing it is now boring and they have lost so many players lately its kinda sad i had several friends end there accounts over all this stuff lately like all the problems and nothing working right .I don’t think Zynga cares anymore about what people want in this game they should to be careful as many new sights are popping up and offering some exciting new things in the way of gaming especially Farming and social networking games

Zynga has been teasing us with the dog for so long, that I’ve decided I don’t even want one – at any price. If I got one in a mystery box, I’d sell it out of general principle. I’m deeply offended by Zynga’s nonsense of dragging this out for nearly 2 months now. And the fact that everything cool costs FV $ is just plain sleazy! Besides – I have a jackalope, which is the coolest possible animal, anyway!!! To heck with the flea bitten cur!

My farm had a glitch and one day it had the golden retriever in the market, but it was $60!!! I assumed the dog was released but then my boyfriend got onto his account and the dog wasn’t in his market. I logged back onto my account and it was gone. If the dogs are $60 I’m going to be very upset!!

Fake. He Never Scrolled over the Dog obviously if he scrolled over it would be a Chicken or something like that.
