Normally i don’t like the animals that don’t look realistic, but I can’t believe how cute those are. (And normally I’m not all OMG CUUUTE either.)

Wondering and Caleb. I have 7-11 near me and I can send you the codes. I go to 7-11 every day so I am sure I will have extra codes. Don’t worry I’m sure those who don’t have 7-11 whether international or US will be able to get these things.

Every item that is for farm cash…They should have alternate for coins to..So if the cow is 12FVC..you should ALSO..Be able to purchase it for {let say} 50,000 coins..and so on and so..the cool house and buildings are FVC only..AGAIN they neen a alternate for coins..SAME item for coin..just a little more coins..FV is starting to Pis* me off

It’s part of a 7-11 promotion between zynga and 7-11 involving all their games. No farm cash involved. You do need real cash to buy the 7-11 items and get the codes but it’s pretty simple. If you drink coffee in the morning before work maybe instead of getting it at a deli go to 7-11. Same with a sandwich instead of stopping at some fast food place get a sandwich at 7-11. If you don’t normally do these things or don’t have 7-11 near you maybe a fiend or neighbor does. If not I know I will share codes and I’m sure others will too.
And with all the complaining seriously it’s a game. It’s a game you can successfully play for free if you choose too.

I have no interest in the water tower (but I do drink water so I could buy a liter or two) so someone can get it
I go there almost every day during the week for morning coffee and I only need 1 cart so there will be plenty of extra codes for that I assume
Only need 1 tree and 1 sandwich cart but I can pick lunch up at 7-11 instead of various other places.
I have no interest in the slide or splash but I like big gulps so tehre should be codes for people there too.
Hmm for the cow . . I want at least 2-3 . . . . good news is I like ice cream and even better is I like going for walks and getting ice cream after wards 7-11 is a little further then my normal walk but I’ll need it with all that ice cream!

Guys – my comments are not about money etc – I am talking about the new cow/calf. Go back to the top of the page and tell me that that calf (blinking & weak knees) looks happy ?????
Its colour (color in the USA) is lame and suggests that the developers are running out of ideas.
A new cow, but no new co-ops (they were mentioned by lexi ), no short term new crops to master, still no farmers market – but a tri colour steak.

Just called my local 7-eleven, and was told they will start this promotion after May 17th. They “just ordered all the supplies.”
I have to shake my head at people who are getting so upset, and jumping to conclusions. It takes just a LITTLE research and common sense (being generous 85% of people don’t have common sense). People need to stop… take a deep breath… THINK.. and THEN type. Just like in real life THINK…. then act. Gosh. There is a picture of a calf… this means the cow WILL be able to reproduce. This means there WILL be ways for ALL players to get eventually a cow. NOT for free mind you.. “nothing is free” I’m sure you pay for your electricity, internet, or at least your computer to get to farmville.
“This is a farming based game”.. you said it David “GAME”… again.. common sense. If you want to look at a real cow, and deal with a real cow on a daily basis, get you rear off the computer, and take some hay to either a farm or dairy, and play with the real cows. I’m not sure what the original dog is trying to hear, so I can not offer my humble opinion there.
Hopefully everyone can relax and ENJOY THE GAME! No one is MAKING you play.

. I’ll be stopping by 7-11 for the first time since I was a kid and picking up the ice cream for this. I doubt I’ll pick up much else (maybe the coffee for the coffee cart) but I love this. AND we can share the calves with our neighbors so it’s not all bad!

Howdy. I posted on another thread but wanted to share that i too was from Oklahoma. A couple of other people from various threads have posted about the 7 11 farmville promotion and a few have said that there are no 7 11′s in the state of Oklahoma. There are in fact many 7 11′s near where i live. (Edmond, Oklahoma City) You can’t go 2 blocks without running into one. I’m from Dodge City KS and travel to visit family and find 7 11′s in a few of the smaller towns as well. I guess it just depends on where abouts in oklahoma that you live. Don’t be jealous of my boogy yet though. I went to several in my area and i was told my each one that Oklahoma 7 11′s will NOT be participating in the Farmville promotion nor do they sell the Farmville card. They did not know why. I would really like to find out why this is. I know that a good deal depends on store participation but i looked at the 7 11 locator and it seem that several states with many 7 11′s are not participating. The closest to me is either Olathe KS or Wichita Falls TX both of which are not worth driving to in this economy. Just wanted to point out that several folks posting there excitement about the promotion should really check with their 7-11′s or check the store locator for participating stores before Farmfreaking out cause they could be setting themselves up for a big disappointment. Thanks for listening. Just wanted to make folks aware that ALOT of 7 11′s around the country are NOT doing the Farmville promotion! Happy farming kids.

Why is eveyone bitching about this? 1. If you are in another country, playing an AMERICAN game, dont say it is unfair that you dont get to run out to 7-11 for this. 2. If you are in a state that is so back woods that you dont have a 7-11, dont worry, you will still be able to obtain a calf (same goes for those in other countries). If you just be patient, you will be able to put the calf inside your nurseries and turn it into an adult and produce MORE of these. So pull the knot outta your panties.

Cows will probably be the hardest to get (of course cause its what the most people want- sadly ice cream is the thing in these list of prices I need/want the least

I have one about 15 min away. never have gone there once but I will now. I’m not even crazy about the decorations. the cow is just “ok”. but like most I kinda want it just cause its unique ha. and I could share the calves with friends. I’ll def help my neighbors get some if they like esp the ones that share foals with me.
for those complaining -doesn’t zynga put out enough decorations online for you? these aren’t even that great. there are better decorations in the game. I may not even get anything.

@ Tiggerrx – there are 7-Elevens in OK? I looked on 7-Eleven’s website through their store locator and couldn’t find any—not that I’m doubting you! However, even if the ones in our state were participating, I live in Tulsa, and it’s a little unfeasible for me to drive around 2 hours to visit a 7-Eleven just for Farmville items. And since they *aren’t* participating, a drive to either TX or KS is equally unfeasible, as I have limited funds and free time from my job.
As you also stated that it was too much of a drive for you in this economy, what will you do in order to get some of the exclusive Farmville items?

I would urge you to not declare a state “back woods” simply because they either do not have 7-Elevens in their states, or do not have 7-Elevens that are participating in this promotion. Although I’m hopeful that you meant the insult in jest, it is nevertheless disrespectful and unnecessary.
I live in Tulsa, Oklahoma (that’s in the US, for any of the international readers), and while we don’t have a 7-Eleven, that does not mean that we are somehow inferior to the rest of the country. In our case, we happen to have a chain of locally-based convenience stores named “QuikTrip,” a chain the citizens of Tulsa are very loyal to (as would most others, had they the chance to encounter QuikTrip).
It is because of QuikTrip that many national chains have had to close their doors and leave our city, simply because they are unable to compete with the quality, cleanliness, and varied selection of items widely embraced and offered by the “QT” company. Shell, Valero, Conoco, BP, and many others have either left our city and surrounding areas, or they continue to struggle to gain the customers they require simply to turn a, comparably, small profit.
In fact, while researching for this comment, I’ve found that QuikTrip is 17th in the national 2009 Top 100 Convenience Stores – not bad for a small, locally-based company, don’t you think? (http://www . csnews . com/csn/index . jsp if you wish to double-check my research – simply remove the spaces and copy/paste the address in your browser, scroll to the bottom left of the page, and click on the “Top 100 Chains Report” link in bold red. It’s a PDF, so make sure you have Acrobat Reader installed.)
I urge you to refrain from deeming a state as “back woods” or inferring that a state does not meet your standards of civilization based solely on the idea that they do not have access to a particular national chain convenience store that is otherwise abundant in your area. Sometimes, they may have something far superior, and though their convenience store of choice may not participate in a Farmville promotion, that does not equate an entire state to being, as you put it, “back woods.”

Perhaps that is the reason they are not participating in the Farmville promotion…

@Jo – the official start for the promo is June 1st, but the website launches on May 17th, so you may be able to start redeem codes as early as then. I know my store only has the potato chip bags with the codes on them (Mafia Wars) since I work on the delivery nights, nothing else has arrived yet. However, this week we may see more products come in for the promo, I’m hoping. All I wanted was one of the plastic cups with the tractor on it, lol

I live in Kentucky and would have to drive to WV to get to the nearest 7 eleven, I want the cow too but cant… Why on earth are people blaming america for it not being offered in other countries when its a american based game that not even all americans can get?
