FarmVille Unwither Ring Brought Back by Popular Demand!

The until now very rare Unwither Ring first debuted for Valentines 2010 on FarmVille, the ring was only sendable unlike the new re-release which farmers can buy for themselves. The ring gives the ability to unwither or revive your crops forever! It is still the most expensive item ever available at 250$FV or approximately $45 USD.
The new Unwither Ring has some new stone options from the previous release, Emerald, Pearl and Black Pearl.

I think im done with farmville now, I understand paying for in game cosmetic items like pets, buildings, etc, but a ring that will never make you unwither ? I only started playing a couple of months ago and did not know they had this previously for sale, had I known earlier of the extent of how much of a sell out game this is I would have never started playing it. And only for 250 FV Cash which is around $45-50.

i would never waste money on this. i do support zynga and buy game cards but this is pure greediness. zynga is going down a slippery slope. lost 8 million players last month, how many more this month?

If I had enough after the 7-11 promotion I would get it, and I might anyway. I would love to be able to leave lavender fields permanently in part of my farm. THATS why people get them, not just because they are…too dumb….to plan their harvests.

I might get this just to help me leave my farm pretty all week and just play like once a week or so. This might be the quitting aid I need. Funny, a game that’s free to play, but costs $50 to quit gracefully.

pfff why pay 250fv for this! if all ur crop are whittered, then create another fb account, + create a new farm, then go get the link for the stimulus pacage (yes its still working) n it have a unwhiter, be neighbour with ur another account then use it n voila! saved 250cash xD lol yes im aware u all knew that xD just to make a point! we need more land zynga!

@ Laura – That’s funny because I was thinking the same thing. Just get it over with and buy the ring. Plant roses and put my graveyards out with haybales saying “R.I.P. FarmVille Addict NotNicky!” Then my crops will forever stay there beautiful and most likely sparkling from my friends saying their goodbyes with fertilizer. ;D

I bought it because I wanted to keep crops forever if I liked them. Well, it DOES NOT WORK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just lost my first crop ever because I was under the mistake impression that it actually worked. Yes I opened it and made sure it was on before I planted the crop but it still didn’t work.

The only advantage that I see to having the ring is that you can keep one plot of each limited edition seed in bloom forever. For example, you could have a batch on your farm with a plot of nachos, cupcakes and all other LE crops pretty forever.
If they rereleased all the LE seeds for one week so that I could get a plot of each on my farm, I would get the ring, but getting it now without those LE seeds, of which there have been so many, seems pointless. I have already missed out on too many of them….

WTF?! I would never pay $40-50 just to get the bloody ring! I would never ever pay just for a game, just plain stupidity.. I mean, I love playing farmville but paying $40-50 or 250 fv cash is just way too much.. Come on zynga i support you and all but what happened to our coins? I have like 4,872,018.. cant we buy the stupid ring with our fu***** coins? AND according to some people it DOESNT WORK, fix it now!

I have one and it only doesn’t work on the days when FV has glitches and the maintenance announcement thingy says “unwithering currently not active” – it will unwither again later on its own when they are done with maintenance

WORTH EVERY PENNY! The average game on ps3 or xbox is like $65 so I didn’t really see a problem with the price especially for what you get. It’s freedom from having to stick to the times. If the gang spontaniously wants to get a drink after work you can go worry free! Plus you don’t sound lame saying “oh I would love to but my zuccini is about to wither.” Get the value pack of farmcash and enjoy spending the leftover cash! Everyone will be jealous of your farm!

YOU DON’T HAVE TO BUY THAT RING. If your neighbour comes to your farm, and if your crops were withered, they can simply UNWITHER it for you. No need to waste 250FV cash!! I’ve unwithered many of my neighbour’s crops.

I’m going to send it to my husband because he has been wanting it. I bought the 310fv cash package. It’s supposed to let you engrave the ring, but when I click on the box nothing changes. The “I love Farmville” will not disappear nor will it let me type my own message. Anyone else have trouble with it?? Is it a glitch? How can I engrave it like I’m supposed to be able to do anyways?!?

i like farmville and play it daily because im at home all day kids are at school. i get cards from store and sometimes buy cash online. but i don’t do this every day i get what i really would like and could be of use to my farm. the ring i have. and was looking for it again to purchase and send to someone but as i see it is not listed at all in store what happend? i also want to know how to do the stimulas package

The unwither ring!!! the solution to all my problems, I can get on at any time of the day I want stress free knowing my crops will not die. That was until… The English countryside. The ring is on my main farm but apparently does not work on the English countryside. After all I paid for that stupid ring it should work for everything I own. I am gonna email costumer support.

I almost bought the unwither ring. It would have helped as I need some short crops and keep having them wither while I’m at work. I almost bought it until I saw that it’s locked to the home farm! If it would help keep things from withering on both the home farm and the English Countryside farms I would have picked it up…

I’m disabled and I’m tired of my crops dying when I have unexpected trips to the hospital, am just too sick to play, and won’t have to rush home for any harvesting.
With all the specials, I got the ring for under $25 and I’m very happy. Stop bashing on something just because it’s not for you. Join the Debbie Downer club and let the rest of the world be happy.

It works, but sometimes when I go on my farm the crops are withered. I then have to turn it back on, refresh the game and the crops are all unwithered.
Do you need one on each farm or will this cover both farms? With a 3rd farm coming out how many of these would you need to cover all the farms they are releasing?
