FarmVille zoom feature upgrade & missing camera button returns
FarmVille Freak Saif's World has Shrunk
Starting tonight, lots of FarmVille Freaks have noticed that they have the ability to “zoom out” of their farm more than usual.
If you try zooming out you will notice that you can definitely see more surrounding greenery than normal.
In possibly unrelated news the Camera or Photo task button has returned, but is still not functional.

What could this mean? Is FarmVille gearing up for the next Expansion? Or could the new ability to super zoom out be connected with the tweaked camera feature, perhaps making it easier to take full size screenshots of your farm?

Definitely planting a 2 day crop tomorrow. If this expansion is anything like all of the previous ones, Wednesday will be a complete disaster.

They are going to expand! I get flashes of “Big Ole Plantation” in my marketplace! I have a screen shot to prove it! Do not know how to post it though?

omg did you try to zoom on your own farm lol ? i don’t think … my zoom is same lol but with windows 7 i can zoom 1000% on my screen i already see my dog taking all my 19″ screen lol quality isn’t really good a this point but till zoomed to 400% the quality is very good so this picture is probably zoom with a tools from windows of about 200-300% lol ! dam

and btw zooming out doesn’t matter lol its depend on your pc screen wich is widescreen or what every … sry to destroy what you think but i have lap-top and a norm square screen on my pc tower and i can zoom out lot more with my square screen if i compare with my laptop .. sry but before think anything just tcheck out not everyone have same screen or tools or anything so many people can see it different
but im still a real fan of farmville and FVfreak continue your good job =) happy farming everyone

I could have sworn I saw an expansion out of the corner of my eye when I was buying fuel…but then it disappeared so I came here asap to see if this site had the scoop…hmmm….!!!

Actually, I’ve been seeing that myself for the last few days…figured it was a glitch of some sort, and it probably is, but perhaps it IS indicative of the next expansion.

I saw the same thing!!!! It’s called a Big Ole Plantation! I seen it for a split second looking through the market before I closed it. Went back to look & see if it was there, and couldn’t find it!

Did anyone that saw the expansion see the price by chance? I’m trying to recall just how much the last expansion cost, so I can get a general idea of the coinage I’m going to have to drop.

Well, something I noticed….sometimes when Farmville is getting ready to release unreleased items, you see a lot of the scam pages on FaceBook (such as purple alien cows and different horses etc). The other day I saw a scam for a 66×66 farm expansion. I’m hoping that means we’ll be seeing an expansion soon. ^_^

the camera function isn’t working still. it just reappeared but if you click on it, a pop up says “this function is currently disabled.”

Nevermind! Went back through the archives and found out the last upgrade was 600,000 coins. So, I have no doubt that the next upgrade will be either 800,000 or 1 mil. Luckily, I’ve got about 4 mil saved up!

I know I’m on my own in believing this
but I’m really hoping they don’t expand
the games already easy enough to play planned expansion will just make it easier to master crops
in land management is the only part of the game that strategy plays into it
plus it’s really not fair to the people who made it to level 70
and have most of the crop mastery’s
but like I said I’m probably on my own since most do you people are just greedy
and always have to have more instead of working hard to get something

So they need to change the name to Farmville 14.2
how can you play a game that the rules are always changing
if you are playing cards you wouldn’t say in the middle of the game
old by the way seven some diamonds are now wild
land expansion does nothing but give an unfair advantage over the people
who have already mastery crops or got to higher levels
it’s no wonder so many people have quit this game lately
Beta in general means testing to get the bugs out
it doesn’t mean fundamentally changing

“Big Ole Plantation” is the 22 x 22 size. “Mighty Plantation” is the 24 x 24. I know this for a fact because my daughter plays and she has a 20 x 20 farm. As much as I would like a bigger farm, I’d rather have a farm that would load correctly and quickly 100% of the time. It takes way too long just to load the game and pick up gifts.

“Big Ole Plantation” is the name of the 22×22 expansion that has been available for the last 6 months, so that doesn’t necessarily mean anything.

I opened a mystery gift this morning, got a jackfruit tree, placed it and sold it and all the rest of the gifts in my gift box are gone!! That sucks, because the gift box is the only place to store farmhands and arborists. It’s getting easier and easier to imagine leaving Farmville!!

they need to expand, my lil community needs more room. lol. i completely redid my farm community again, am getting quicker at it,… but need more room to put out some of my buildings, and right now don’t have my lake out. i dont want to make my lil piec of farm land any smaller… is small enough.lol. they are long over due to give us another expansion option.

You all are silly silly farmers. There is already a Big Ol Plantation, those “screenshots” you silly farmers are claiming to have are either screenshots of a glitch or a screenshot you photo shopped. There may indeed be a expansion on the way but it will not be named that same as the 22×22 expansion, bet your sweet bunnies on that one. My zoom seems to be working the same and fine as ever. I also agree on the loading and image quality, what’s the point in having bigger farms if all these farmville hoarders are just gonna fill it with junk making it harder for loading and harder on my eyes. The loading issues should be addressed and corrected before they add another expansion or anything else in fact.

I want to take pictures before i re-vamp. also, just before MY camera went bye bye, I took one picture and over 500 new albums were suddenly created and then i snapped another pic and the total album count went to 641. Then…no camera! i have 3 albums strictly for fv pics : contents = 200, 87, and 16(which i had a friend take and i imported-but that wasn’t fun so i stopped). the other 630 something albums are empty. (?) i do want to record progessions of my little patch of heaven (
) so please camera…hurry back! i miss it and want to do other things to my farm like…yesterday

its not photoshopped, like ive said a few times, ive seen something similar. i will agree to it being a glitch since yes the big ole plantation has already been released a long time now. but its definitely not photoshopped.

There is another information site called FarmvileFanatics and they were all talking about being able to see the expansion you guys are talking about. Clicking between seeds and upgrade, you could see for a split second.
Here’s a tip for those who don’t have much coin. Send out the magnolia tree to 30 neighbors and have them send it back to you. You can sell them for 250 coins and that adds up fast.

Now the script isnt working anymore…. And I’m not gonna spend my time on planting this *#*@” by hand!!!
Hope they change it back soon or I probably stop playing… (I do like the game but its gay for clicking on every single plot)

The new zoom feature was enacted to disable cheating ‘bots’ used to automatically harvest and plant crops. The bots used a set spacing to systematically click & move a set number of rows and columns. By changing the zoom, this disrupts the spacing, thereby making a cheating program useless.

my camera hasnt worked since they english farm came out so i got nooo pics of my new farm ~~ i have emailed them over and over about this and chated with them about this and still no camera ~~ i want my camera please!
