FarmVille’s Flea Market and Claire made their return to FarmVille tonight!
The Flea Market feature allows you to make trades with Claire as she offers you Farm Coins or other currencies for items on your FarmVille farm. It’s up to you whether you want to accept or deny Claire’s offers. This feature was previously on an extremely slow roll out and was pulled from FarmVille before it actually made its way out to all players. Many players never got a chance to make trades with Claire and majority of those who did were sad to see her go. After getting some bugs fixed and tweaking the Flea Market feature, it’s back in FarmVille starting tonight.
There’s some new rules and regulations that you might want to look over so you’ll know what to expect with Claire’s and her visits.
Claire’s Flea Market Rules
- Claire only buys 1 item every 3 days.
- Claire looks for different items on different farms. If you don’t like her offers, try traveling to a different farm or reloading your current farm.
- Once you agree to sell an item to Claire, the item will be removed from your FarmVille farm (or taken out of your Storage) and you will gain the currency she offered to pay.

A Note on Farm Cash & Claire
Claire used to offer us Farm Cash trades for our old items, but she doesn’t seem to be offering up any Farm Cash this time around. Weak! Here’s an example of a Flea Market trade that Claire offered me on my FarmVille Home Farm. Despite having tons of Farm Cash items on my farm, Claire picked mostly trees and a couple flags that were purchased with Farm Cash for her trade offer, but she wasn’t willing to pay me Farm Cash for any of the items.

I liked her when she paid with FC I dont need coins at this point tho it seems like a good start for new player that is if the rates are the same for those that are starting

I would like to get the cash instead of coins, it helped me when I needed to pass a quest. it is a lot better also. We need to get insta- grow for coins please! Any chance for that???

I doubt long time players will care, FC was awesome but coins, not so much. I agree that it would be nice for the new players, but I don’t think that there are many of those/

“I understand you would like to have the Flea Market available for Farm Cash instead of Coins. Please allow me to inform you that Flea Market is now available only for Coins for all of the Players. However, I really appreciate your feedback and we take your concerns very seriously.”

Nice that Claire is back.
To be fair to all players, Zynga should alternate Claire’s purchase of coins and farmcash weekly not just all coins this time.

they can stick it up their greedy f’n asses, I have plenty of ways to earn coins, up to 50,000,000 a day if I cared to. I only play cuz I’ve stuck way too much real money into this stupid worthless waste of time game. I have close to 200 horses from when I liked playing which was back before they got so crack-headed with all these dumbass quests, buildings, 12 day BS and what have you!!! Not to mention they don’t want to give anything back, like no more FC for leveling past 250. The prizes in the quest are worthless, I mean really if everyone has one, who cares!!! Maybe if she paid in Jade coins or Coconuts it might be halfway worth having.

Really not happy it’s for coins , was the only way I could buy stuff with cash . Sad that it doesn’t take care of players that have played from the start . Won’t bother selling stuff now . Great job FV . NOT.

Absolutely USELESS. There’s better ways of getting coins, and those don’t evolve selling items. Hopefully theres a way to disable this completely because so far, it’s only lagging my farm even more than before.

this really makes me mad i dident get her the first time and now they bring her back and you can only get coins. this really shows you something about zynga they dont want you to get anything that you can buy with real money even if its just alittle bit of free farm cash

I play a lot but am always low on coins. Not sure how everyone else always has so much! Anyway, Claire offered me 90k for a chocolate rabbit I didn’t want so I thought it was a good deal! It was my first visit from her – she never made it to my farm the first time around.

I was really hoping for FC too, but I figured they wouldn’t. I heard rumors that Zynga (as a whole) wasn’t doing so well financially. I’m not surprised they’re restricting ways to get FC in game.
It’s fine; they just won’t get any of my money. xD I have other games that are WORTH investing in.

A. Some of us buy items w/ FVC
B. This Flea Market will only give coins for items she wants to buy.
C. Are we going to sit there and go “Hmmm,this is a good deal!!”

Another stupid idea from zynga crew !!!! Nobody wants coins !!! Every single player has millions of millions of coins !! As myself I have billions of coins !! Are you kidding me ??? I can freakin earned 100 millions plus of coins in ONE DAY !!! No kidding !! YES !! Zynga crew !! you can check my account or you can hacked my account if you want too !! WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT. Yes getting extra coins for items I may not want is nice, but with NO possibility of farmcash at all it just isn’t very exciting or a reason to keep me interested…. I understand Zynga can’t give away the house, they are in it for the money BUT they are getting to greedy and at some point that is going to ruin the fun for all and they will start loosing players…. They need to find a balance with things like this. Especially after they teased everyone with farmcash offers…..

Yes, it isn’t fair… they release it months ago and give a lot of ppl fv cash for items while the rest of is are sitting on the sidelines asking “where’s ours”? Then they finally admit there were are problems with the program and are removing it until they could fix it. Then THIS?? is what they come out with? It’s a slap in the face to the millions that didn’t get a chance at it when it was giving fv cash? If you look at it logically, she could offer coin for items that are obtained from other ppl or from buying with coin from the market. And she should offer FVCash for items that we would have had to buy from the gift shop.
I feel this is very fair as by giving us fv cash… it’s not like we can redeem it for real cash… so it would be a fair trade cash item for cash and we would use that cash to purchase something else in their market.

not getting cash this time?!?!?!?! that totally sucks, i was looking forward to selling anything i could to her for the cash because i will never again spend my own cash on this game. this sucks, royally!! whats with the change??

She never came around to me the first time. She only offered coins for my stuff, and it was in mostly pitiful amounts. She finally offered 210,000 for a cornish chicken that I took. I would have really liked farm cash, but that is real money, so of course Zynga got rid of that.

Yup, I was one of the lucky ones that got her before, then, just as I kind of figured out how to get her to kind of pick things I really wanted to get rid of, she gets taken away to get “fixed”. I guess they “fixed” her by making her a cheapskate. Thanks, but no thanks.

I was getting farmcash before, now I get coins. Coins mean nothing, I can get those myself by harvesting and playing the game. When do we get cash again?

She never came to my farm during the earlier roll-out, but she came to my son’s farm and paid in cash. I’m not interested in coins. Already have all I need. If she paid in coconuts or jade that would be okay.

Originally I was getting farm cash from Claire. Now I only get coins. How do I go back to getting farm cash? I already pay to sell my coins for cash, so how about going back to getting cash from Claire?

Claire is nothing more than Zynga’s hired theiving jew. Because Farmcash costs real money, and she buys things that cost farmcash for coins, that bitch is essencially giving you coins for real cash. These coins are worthless; it takes no effort to gain coins. The only thing that I can think of that would make her an asset would be to sell her gifts from years ago that are in storage.
