Every farmer loves free fuel! With recent upgrades to FarmVille, free fuel is a little easier to come by even though it isn’t necessarily flowing freely. Fuel can also be purchased in the FarmVille Market, but farm cash is difficult to obtain and many farmers would prefer to spend their farm dollars elsewhere.
Many farmers like to save their fuel and use it sparingly. It’s nice knowing you have a Fuel Reserve waiting for you when you really need a break from all that clicking.

Since I all plow small fields I hardly use my tractor. I even do’t have a seeder or a harvester. For that reason I have over 500 units of fuel stored

1000 is nothing – i have close to 1200 and a friend of mine is almost 1300 – very easy to get gas when all the free links were floating about for the collections.

I have 150, and earlier today when i was clicking on some free fuel links, it said i need to use up some fuel because i couldn’t old anymore? Strange.

So, I take it there is no limit to how much you can have? I have noticed that when I would accept a fuel gift (back in the free fuel week) that it would not show up. Maybe I was losing gifts and didnt realize it!

I have only 90 Fuel Refills. On the Christmas I had ~ 200.
Now it’s preety hard to get a 10/20 fuel refills. Only from Golden Eggs
But it’s OK. I seldom use my Hot Rod Tractor/Harvester/Seeder. I like to keep my fuel for good ocasions, like when I’m running out of time.

I deleted a bunch of mega neighbors, you know, the kind that have hundreds of neighbors and never fertilize your crops or send you a gift. Anyways, now I have a lot less collectible finds to click on and as a result, have not been getting those 5 gas refills from finishing a collectible.
Short story, my gas reserves have dwindled from 160 something to 120 something this week alone >.<

1923. and i use it. i usually get between 10 and 50 fuels from collections each night. that privacy thing actually came in handy, there’s a group of 10 of us on my FB that only post for each other and it really has made the gas flow

Wow – I run really low. For a long time, I’ve been keeping about 40 refills in reserve (plus 50+ refills in my gift box from the Christmas presents). With the increased flow from collections, my fuel was steadily going up. so I now aim to keep my fuel reserve down to about 50 refills (plus the 110 refills in my gift box). I have 390 plots, and use a 2-4 gas tanks per harvest, and do two harvests a day.
Wish I had the good neighbors that some of you do – my collection work is slow going.

I have over 3K only because every time I use one of the vehicles I get the message “Saving your farm…” after a couple of clicks and it takes longer to wait for it to be saved then click a single plot at a time.

I’ve got 200 fuel – no big deal. But I can’t believe no one talks about the slow refill they went back to. Makes it tough to take full advantage of those 1/5 refills. They’re kinda worthless now. I used to top the tank just up and over (so it would be almost empty) and let it almost fill, then add 1/5 to push it up and over again. I could turn 4/5’s into 4 full tanks a day that way. (enough to harvest/plow/seed my farm) Now it’s only 1 per day.

Can’t seem to get anymore unless I am plowing my own farm or others farm. When I try to get some from someone else who has found them, I get a message that says, “Whoa farmer! You have too much fuel. Get farming & use some up before trying to claim more fuel!”

3800, with 100 crops left…..and at level 70…..so it looks like Im good for life….for anyone whos been around for awhile….the over abundance of fuel is crazy…..first with the eggs and now with the collections-I accumulate more fuel everyday then I use. Farmville has really made this game too “easy”…Im one of the “old timers” who actually had to earn leveling up……now everyone shoots up 10 levels a week with collections…..it used to be exicting when “one” new thing came out a week-now we’re overwhelemed every week with new things…….time for farmville to get back to basics I think and give farmers…..a challenge. The only challenge for people now are mastery signs, and what do people do, fill their entire farm with crops with all their “things” crammed along the edges……its crap…noone wants to look at that….be creative! Give those of us who put the effort into creating a farm instead of a field of just crops a mastery sign!

Thanks to collections I’ve got a little over 2k in fuel in, collections are amazing for collecting fuel. LOL
There is a limit on free fuel gotten from plowing, fertilizing and neighbors per day.
But haven’t ran into a limit collecting or buying it. *shrug*

505 – since I got my Hot Rods, I’ve been using up fuel. My favorite thing to get out of a Mystery Egg is Fuel! (I was so EGGcited when we got 30 fuel – bring that back) I’m hoarding, cuz you never know when the gas companies will drive up the price!

You can collect alot. I camped the feed for a long time when it came to golden eggs. Those gave out and still do 20 fuel refills at a time. At one point, i had over 400 chickens and i sold all but 60. That is what gave me most of my fuel. That, and the ridiculous amount of collection turn ins.

wow, amazing how much fuel some of you have, i have 218, thought that was a lot. i have a field that looks like its a hill so i cant use my 9 plot tractor on that anyway, i do per hand at the moment, but i am collecting fuel for the next time. i always change my farm complete once in a while then i will use it.

I have 2980. I used to save it, but don’t have to now since I can get it from finishing collections. Before collections I had a measly 23 gallons. Now I use it for everything 3 x daily.

have 2380 refills stored.. use it only when am running out of time… though now the tank doesnt refill itself.. plus the free fuel that frds posts that they find while ploughing everytime asks me to use some to get some.. not sure how much needs to used to get new fuel.. whats the point of i cant store that fuel.. any idea how much fuel has to be used each day to get the new fuel from frds.. as i guess only once a day can get the large tank… then from other neighbors get only small tanks… havent yet figured out this calculation of the free fuel while ploughing..

Wow, there’s people with a lot of fuel out there, I’m on about 150 that will do me as I’m planting crops that takes a day to grow.
I can remember when people would moan about having no fuel and it was fv cash only. I was so happy at Christmas when it free in the presents.
Everything is just so messed up, too much stuff is coming out as just fv cash, no new basic items, animals or crops. The game is getting boring with the only thing that matters is the number of people on your friendlist that plays it.

Strange. Mine is stuck on 163 and 1/5. Not used any fuel in 2 days.
The auto refill thing seems to have vanished.
I get “Howdy Farmer! You need to use some of your fuel to be eligible to find more. So get busy farming and come back later!” if i try to collect free fuel from neighbours.
So my max is 163.2 lol.

719, I used tractor, harvester and seeder everytime. I don’t collect gas from front page and I never choose it from “ask for something”-gifts. Mostly got my fuel from Christmas and collections. I have like 2 collections everyday. Now I have stop planting so no need for the fuel.

You all talk about how much fuel you have. I am more worried about fuel consumption by Harvester, Tractor, and seeder. for every 9 plots its consuming 9 energy. isn’t that a bit too high consumption? it’s not that easy to find fuel. and 65fv cash for 50 refill? let me lol.

I’m at 1054, using fuel to plow, seed & harvest daily, & I always end up with more than what I started with. I follow my neighbor feeds & click on every bonus, egg or collectible, whether I think I will get it or not. I started out hoarding at first, but when it started stacking up faster than I could use it, I decided why not? No sense in waiting till Zynga stops giving it with collections, or makes the vehicles guzzle more fuel.

I have 2300+ in fuel. However, I can only receive fuel from others when I click their links AFTER I use some of my fuel each day. Otherwise, I have to use the collections to get my fuel.

I have 65 right now. If I start to run low I will save the fuel for times when I’m in a hurry… I don’t anticipate those days very often because I seem to be finding free fuel every day to replace what I’ve used that day!! HOLY MACKEREL at all of you who have 125+++ I’m in shock!! The most I’ve had is 115 and can’t fathom having 200-300-500-1000 or more!!!

I have 484 plots of land. On weekdays I plant crops that take days to mature and on the weekends I plant Raspberries, Blackberries and Ghost Chiles. I run out of fuel quite often and have to plant mellons or artichokes so I can get a break to save up fuel again. When I get real low I bust out the auto clicker and harvest without using fuel.

Fuel’s great! As long as I have, I use it to do everything – harvesting, plowing, seeding. And I keep getting replenished regularly, so it’s coming in handy to do short (few-hour) crops.

DANG! How do you guys finish all these collections? I have “10″ collectibles of most everything except one elusive item in each category. The strange thing is it doesn’t matter how “common” or “rare” it is. Makes no sense. How do so many of you complete so many collections?
Is there a way to “cheat” and send the gift items you need?
I know this works to build the stable by just changing the word in the url to the item you need, but I don’t seem to get it to work for collectibles.

I have a little over 165,and now when I click on someones link thats found some while working on their farm,I get this:
Howdy Farmer! You need to use some of your fuel to be eligible to find more. So get busy farming and come back later!
And its not because I’ve collected my limit for the day or anything,thats the first one I clicked on today.
Wonder how come I’m not allowed to pick up any more fuel?

i have over 1800 fuel. answer to Joyce… you need to use your own fuel to be able to get it from others.

I’m near 2000 Fuel. And i use all 3 machines all the time. Though, my farm is designed to not really use much fuel. Plus i rotate my crops.

Would love to add Debbie on Farmville. I totally agree. So sick of going to farms with everything stacked along the edges. The fun of the game to me is using my creativity and seeing the creativity, which is hard to find.

I just clicked on a neighbor’s “found some fuel to share” link, and it told me “Howdy Farmer! You need to use some of your fuel to be eligible to find more. So get busy farming and come back later!”
I’ve never seen that one before. And I only have a measly 78 stored up!

Guys please tell me hoy you get so much fuel… I’m a fv freak myself, level 65 playing for more then 6 months and I still don’t have fuel…. most of my neighbors don’t play and don’t send gifts and I’m desperate to have nice neighbors like me!!

Or just go grab yourself a Logitech G15 keyboard, setup a macro to the G-keys to manipulate a left-click every .01 seconds and just slowly move your mouse over each plot and save the carpal tunnel.

I’m at 2011 and counting. Those collections surely help alot. I gain fuel way faster than I can spend.

FYI, the fuel numbers stop at 9999, the turn over to 1000 (not 10,000) and stays there – I have two pictures on my wall to show that

I use as much as I can… but do have about 900+ in storege… and continue to collect my limit daily right now.
Interesting to note, one of my neighbors cant seem to add any more fuel to her storage tank & it was just over 800 at the time.

1536 REFILLS I use 10 every time I harvest my crop. Usually harvest twice a day.
Have been told by a couple reliable sources that 9999 is the max.

I’ve only been playing a few weeks and my fuel is only at 2 !! It’s still telling me I need to use more fuel before I can collect any more!!!! Any ideas of how to get more is welcome!!

My partner has the same problem with it saying she needs to use more before collecting anymore. She only has 10 units, she plows/harvests everyday, and still can’t collect from the bonus posts.

I cant get free fuel when I have 3 or 4 fuel stored yet it will allow me to buy some. I feel this is discriminatory, plus why have friends at all if you cannot click on offers that are posted????

It looks like Zynga is trying to force us to buy using the FVs which we have. Do you guys have any idea of how to sort this issue out.

i have the same PROBLEM as some of you… everytime i try to collect someone else’s fuel it gives me the typical

and i only have 28 stored, and that’s because everyday i’ll fertelize all my neighbours farms….
frustratimg, enoying, and i’m tired of it… i don’t have always time to fertilize others!!!!
