Is The FarmVille English Countryside Almost Here?
Earlier this afternoon, several FarmVille Freaks reported that their farms were “enhanced” after which they noticed two tiny updates in the game! Both of these seem to be related to the FarmVille English Countryside making us all wonder – is it almost here?
Firstly, if you now look at your neighbor bar at the bottom of your farm, you will notice that underneath each neighbor’s picture is a little house. You may remember from FarmVille Freak’s post earlier, it was mentioned that in order for your neighbors to visit a farm, it will be separated with a home icon, and one of a flag. To be precise:
When you fly to FarmVille English Countryside with Duke you will activate your second farm in the English Countryside. Neighbors will be able to visit you on both of your farms. However, your neighbors will only be able to visit the farm that you are currently on, or last worked on. This will be represented on the neighbor bar. Underneath each neighbor will be either a home symbol (representing that their origonal farm is active and growing) or a British Flag symbol (representing that their FarmVille English Countryside farm is active and growing).
So even this little home picture has many farmers excited and wondering whether the release of the FarmVille English Countryside is almost upon us!

Secondly, we know that the FarmVille Market was given a makeover a few months ago. In that, there were several ways in which crops, decorations, buildings and other items could be sorted.
Ever since FarmVille was “enhanced” this afternoon, a new category for sorting has been added to the FarmVille Market: Sort by World Location!
Now we can be sure that this is definitely an indication that will allow us to access different crops and items of both our farms through one FarmVille Market!

I’d rather has the XP point total displayed. One reason for playing farmville was to compete with your neighbors for the highest score. The correct level score isn’t correct for any of my neighbors, so it’s impossible to tell how your neighbors are doing or who needs help. Your farmville English Countryside crap is interferring with my game.

Ho hum. I had hoped it would be the beginning of Easter as there are a lot of items leaving the market tonight.

Currently no matter what game you play from Z, a day is pretty much a calendar day- very easy to remember and manage. With the pause you no longer have that concept which in itself will be very difficult to manage UNLESS you leave your game on one farm and one farm only.
So how does this help an average player manage?

I am hoping it comes on this Friday so we can see what it is like for once and for all. Not as excited as I was since we can’t use what we have on our original farm, but it will be nice to have another farm to work as long as it works well.

I’d rather see the experience points at the bottom. They could’ve put the little house in the top corners or something. FVEC would be ALOT better if we could have both farms active at the same time.

IT WONT WORK WELL, that’s the problem!!! one farm will ALWAYS be “PAUSED” and NOT GROWING OR ADVANCING AT ALL!!!! The one thing I am now looking forward to, is it looks like we might be able to grow the crops from the Market on the Original Farm on the English Countryside and vise versa. Kinda looking forward to that, and the sheep breeding, but still really not liking the whole pausing one farm.

Only 1 farm active and 1 on pause doesn’t make any sense why all the trees, animals and crops on 2 farms if 1 will be on pause at all times and the trees or anything else won’t grow it makes no sense at all. And the reason we wanted another farm is we have so much stuff in storage and no where to put it.

Marketing for English invasion has gone on for too long. Is the delay due to programming issues, but I really don’t care anymore.

wow great to bad I won’t be intrested becuase they will be pauseing the farm I have worked so hard on. This pause is a MAJOR dissapointment MAJOR!
If anybody out there is doing something aboutit let me know like a petition or something. Is there like a survey?

Can’t believe there are still people anxiously waiting for the English Countryside. For one thing they have carried on far too LONG with the teasing and “coming soon”…
I was kinda losing interest knowing that they would tease us for months with their “coming soon” crap.
And then when they announced their retarded “pause” feature I Lost all Interest in the English Countryside – I won’t even visit as long as they want me to abandon the farm I have worked so hard on for the last year and a half….
There is NOTHING cool enough about the English Countryside to make me want to put my regular game on “pause”. Wonder who thought of this ridiculous idea anyway.
I think the English Countryside will be a huge failure if they insist on the “pause” feature….

Zynga knows our wants and so why do they create the ‘pause’ feature.
This is not what we asked for. FVEC is a HUGE letdown.
They should introduce cargo trailers and animal trailers so we can transfer decorations and animals from farm to farm.

I’m with the others, I want to be able to see my neighbor’s XP. I have a half
dozen neighbors that are > level 100, so the stupid little house symbol is
useless!

I don’t understand why they don’t release English countryside as its own game
they’ve already changed the original Farmville so much since I started playing
and you can change the rules to the game in the middle of the game
should they have learned that as children

Glad to see the XP at bottom gone, one good thing FVEC has brought us. Don’t want to feel in competition with other people. We know what level everyone is, that is enough

Ya know I was suggesting a 2nd farm for a long time! using Fishville as a reference! The best part about Fishville other then all the tanks, is people can help on all of them!
SO, if i keep all my prize chickens on my normal farm but just got done working on my EC farm, people are out of luck tending to my chickens and getting a rare egg!!
kinda lame! I still say you should be able to choose a default farm people land on, kinda like your main theme farm, and the other for work! BUT both being accessible so you can show off that farm art and still get things done! or just double time the crops! any way, restricting the farms to the last being tended is not going to be meet with rave reviews!
so will this post stay in moderation forever, or get posted?… lol

Sooo unhappy with the pause that I took off my English hat, sold my English calf, and got rid of all the supplies I was saving for FVEC…Funny that they are coming out with a dorking chicken..Had to be based on the FV developers..dorks! Good timing there. Nope, not playing their silly little con game. They can keep their English Countryside and put it where the sun never shines.. “)

I would much prefer the XP count showing than the little houses to lead me to another farm…. One farm is enough!
