New FarmVille in Game Activity Feed and Gift Option
Today a new in game FarmVille activity feed menu was added. This menu consolidates posts from Facebook homefeed, but you can not collect bonuses, just view activity & send gifts. This new option is not the Gift Message Center we previously had, gifting must be done through Facebook at this time.
To access it you can click the ‘note’ icon in the upper right hand corner of your game screen. This will scroll your page down autimactically, to view the new FarmVille feed below your game screen.

There are two options to choose from:
Friend Activity
FarmVille in Game Feed Friend Activity Tab
This portion of the feed allows you to see things such as:
- When a friend receives a ribbon or levels up
- When a neighbor plants “Joe Smith just planted a field full of Soybeans.”
- When a neighbor puts out a wish list, giving you an option to send them the gift they are looking for
For all posts there is an option to send a congratulations gift, mystery gift or wish list gift.
My Activity
FarmVille Freak Game Feed My Activity
This portion of the feed keeps a history of almost anything you do while farming such joining Co-ops, planting, wish lists or achievements.
UPDATE: On FarmVille.com there is a third menu tab that has a ‘true’ FarmVille feed, allowing you to collect bonuses from Neighbors Facebook posts such as Mystery Eggs, Collections etc.

it sucks big time,slow as **** and takes forever just to help one person,they lied to us again,with saying that the new way of accenting request was disabled(remember the little envelope on top of the farm about a month ago?worked great)they disabled it and said they would bring it back after they fixed it,well there was nothing wrong with it … except it actually worked and saved a ton of time,so they “fixed it “so its slow ere than any other way of sending ,why does zynga lie so much all the time?and why is 99% of the items you can buy has to be purchased with farmcash in stead of coins?then they wast half a million coins for the belted calf!ok it cost 25$real dollars to get 115 farm cash,you do the math on whaT they really trying to do they get away with discrimination all the time to,they discriminate against poor people,and anyone that does not own an iphone!I think a class action law suit should be brought up against them,they ADVERTISE A FREE GAME!

no Anissa has a good point, so many folks can’t afford to pay memberships for games and this one was a truely free game, until now, it is another way to encourage people to spend fc for items they really would love to own, i agree , we don’t have to play but i also agree that more and more items are becoming un reachable for probably the majority of players, i am lever 83 and am becoming very unhappy with a FREE GAME that is now really geared to the ones who can afford to buy fc. Yes i have bought fc but i can also afford to, get back to letting everyone have equal opportunity and pitch the stupid iphone crap, i will not buy one just to have the items i would really like to have.

I certainly would have liked it if the Game Feed option was brought over to Facebook. I also miss the old messaging center, where you could accept all your gifts within a few seconds. I know it is sort of redundant, but having Facebook chat, my farm, accepting posts, and accepting my gifts all in the same window would be AWESOME.

I want to turn it off as well for many reasons, one of them is my game play privacy is being published, the second reason is even I removed some of my neighbors, they still showed up on that list.

I liked this, at least the feed part. they used to have a feed on farmville.com before this, but not everything showed up there. now it seems to work
hope it goes over to facebook too though.
+ don’t understand why everybody’s so angry all the time! instead of demanding stuff and complaining, just relax! i’m sure we get more land and whatever eventually. i think they are doing great adding so much new stuff all the time.
the only thing that i think is stupid is that they’re telling us about all the stuff to come waay to early. everything gets hyped up, and you might get disappointed when you get it. i liked it better when this just showed up out of the blue, instead of them telling us about it a month ago..

Mulan! Exactly my point! There are people showing up on the list that I removed, even blocked from facebook. I still see what those people do on their farm, that somebody I do not know joined them in a co-op job. And what more, which is annoying the heck out of me: somebody I removed from my neighbors and friends list still could join my co-op and it is visible on the news thread :S Fiy that Zynga!

No, we aren’t cry babies, we just would like to put our hard work on our farm to good use. They advertise a “free game” and that’s the way it should be.

Anyone having problems posting to the feed?
When my crops needed to be fertilized I went to post it,but the little pop up screen faded to black and then it opened to an entirely different widow and posted a blank message on my feed.I notice too that I’m getting double pop ups.
Example : I mastered cucumbers level 1…that popped up along w/ a neighbor request too.and neither one posted to my feed.

I don’t like the activity feed at all, it slows down the game BIG time,
takes way to much to load
I don’t want to know who joined what coop, or when anybody gets or does anything
nor do I want what I am doing out there
there is no way to turn it off or delete the 100 + (so far) activities

I think it has slowed down my gameplay significantly, therefore I’m not pleased with the change. What is good, however, is now I can see when my employees at work are actually on their farms harvesting when they should be doing their jobs!! Be careful when you’re neighbors with the boss.

I love farmvillefreaks and check everyday to get the straight scoop on FarmVille. I am not a complainer just a frustrated farmer. I maxed out my farm the day they opened 24×24. They are releasing new things at least 2 to 3 times a week and I am on overload. Everytime they release something new FV has issues. I have not been able to post a Cow barn raising and it is very frustrating. This new feed is worthless and takes up space. I agree the little envelope we had was great. Why do they have to fix things that aren’t broken and the give us worthless junk and new stuff that we have no place to put. I have lost numerous good FV neighbors because farming isn’t fun anymore.

I had the three-tabbed data below the fold earlier today on Farmville.com. It has since reverted back to just the game feed.
The data on my gameplay was quite incomplete, perhaps that is one reason why it is gone. Could also be negative feedback.
I would like to see the Message Center returned so that Gift Management does not require using Facebook.

I have also been having the feed problem…it also keeps freezing after “posting” and changing the size of my browser window. I have to close out the tab and re-maximize my FF window… Very annoying! More annoying than bugging me to send gifts when I open up my gift box. ><

Before they add a new “feechur” they ought to consider the possibility that some user somewhere might want to shut it off.

ok, so since this came out I can no longer go on facebook ON THE IPHONE and click the game feed updates and get items that way anymore why is this? It use to be fun to (steal) items on the iphone through facebook game feed updates!

I’ve always used the farmville.com game feed over FB to keep track of ribbons, gifts, samples from neighbors, etc. In my setup, the game feed is the LAST tab and I can’t seem to change that. This means each time I click, I have to scroll down, click the game feed tab and wait for it to reload. In the world of snag bars, every second counts. This process makes things too slow. Can we delete the friend and my game activity or reposition things so the game feed comes FIRST?

My neighbors are looking to me to find away to clear this up, because I have some development experience.
Takes too much time to load and work with. Must at least have an option to delete existing messages once dealt with. ‘Allow my Facebook…’ checkbox does not appear to work.
An option to delete messages older than (specified date or number of days old) would be great. Once most messages are too old they are useless anyway.
Good idea, poor implementation.
Please respond to the above email ASAP. I put off emailing because I thought this would be fixed. should have complained earlier.

I can not get the game feeds of what people have to offer and what they need sent to them. I have tried to change my settings, but it is not working. please fix it. I have a slow computer and have to go back and forth on the home page and it takes me forever. Other people have the game feeds and I would like it too.
