Got it and the first use is on Zynga. I had just planted a 4 day crop and use the Bi-plane and was able to harvest immediately. Got my mastery as a result. Cool

This is Just Fabulous, I bought it right away I have over 5 million coins so why not? I bet its gonna cost a TON of FC to use the crop duster too!! At least the first time is free.

I am disappointed that the prize for the co-op is the same as an item available in the market.
Co-ops are a pain to coordinate, but I am up for the challenge if it gives me something unique as a prize. Like how about the prize be one instant harvest to use with your biplane each time you get gold on the PB&J co-op. Or maybe an aviator gnome or something. Or a duck wearing aviator gear. Just something.

Al: I just bought it also and just now found out it is a gold prize.. why would I do the PB co op now.. I like the co ops that I can do over and over again for little “cute” prizes…

I would be interested to know if you get one free use per plane or its one and done.
Therefore you do the job. Get the plane, plant four days use the plane, sell the plane start the job again.
Peanuts only take 16 hours so should be able to complete the entire task in that time no problems.

The Biplane takes away the essence of FV: growing stuff!
It also means that we are going to be able to do a job by ourselves, and thus will take away the fun of team playing! I play with many friends and we launch co-ops twice a week, sometimes coordinating 3 teams…
I was dreaming of an instant plower or an instant harvester…

hate co-ops. every time neighbor start co-op that’ all I get from the game bar, and if I join it tells me I already joined a co-op.

The 3×3 vehicles can do a full size farm in 60 seconds already. To do the same farm by hand takes 9.5 minutes. That’s close enough to “instant plow” for me.

I play with an active group of 7. We launch at least 1 co-op a week. So, yes, I’ll wait and get the Bi-plane for free since we would do the co-op anyway.
Those who don’t want to co-op can pay coins. Be glad it’s coins and not FV$s.

I live the bi-plane but would have preferred it to mass harvest or seed. I too like the co-op concept and it does take some coordination to ensure gold success but, everyone derives their own pleasure from farmville. If you would like to instant harvest use the plane if you prefer the “old fashion” way thats what makes farmville unique.

the plane is permanent, not one time use. But the cost depends on the crop grow time AND how many plots you seeded!! My farm is roughly 400 plots – a full field of watermelon (4day) cost 37 FV to do with the duster. But a full field of an 8 hr crop only costs 3 FV. Also there some proportion going on, I checked the cost as I seeded – for the 8 hr crop, from 1 plot up to almost 250 plots cost only 1 FV cash, then it bumped to 2 FV for the next 20 or so, then quicker to 3 FV cash!! So it’s worth it to do 250 for 1 FV cash and do 250 again getting 500 crop for 2FV cash – rather than spend 3FV for the whole field of only 400.
Then when I played with a 10 hr crop the threshold dropped to 195 plots for 1 FV cash, and a 3 day crop the threshold was only 27 crops for 1 FV cash.
Please post as you discover what diff crops cost and for how many plots. I am working on the formula
Roughly for 1 FV cash you can plant 1900 divided by the # hours the crop takes to mature.
ex: a 10 hr crop, for 1 FV cash you can grow 1900/10 = 190 plots

Pineapple you are so right! Tried your formula for grapes which is a 24hr crop.
1900/24=79.167
The first time I planted 79 plots paid 1FV cash
The next time I planted 80 plots paid 1FV cash
So then I kept adding plots to see what the max would for 24hr crops. Well the answer is 83 ploys = 1FV cash because as so as I hit 84 plots it changes to 2 FV cash.
So from now on I’m sticking to your formula.

Just checked on my crop it changed back to 1FV after 1% grown so I will buy it now. Sorry But I don’t have enough FV cash to go the distance (ie to keep testing by adding more plots) so keep me posted.

I joined the coop for peanut butter jelly but I didn’t get the biplane nor the xp and coins. My other friends who joined didn’t get theirs, too. The one who started was the only one who got it. FV pls. give us our prizes, we work hard on it. So frustrating!

There needs to be a little more fairness in the co-ops.My friends and I Planted all the crops we needed and right before we were done harvessting them someone joined and got the plane without doing any of the work. This has happened to me several times on different jobs…Oh that and people not harvesting the crops they plant. You should be able to lock a job you start so only people you invite can help. Totaly UNFAIR!

thanks! now i’ll only fly for 1cash, since you get less hours per cash after the 2000 first. you can just plant more and get 2000hours for 1cash again after anyways.
lets say you grow 100 watermelons at the same time it cost 9cash, but if you grow 20 watermelons 5 times it only cost 5cash!
+ you get to se the plane in action more often

This formula can’t be right. I have 535 plots with 96 hours crop, and according to that formula it would cost me 51 cash to fly the plane. I have 69 cash, and FV tells me I don’t have enough cash…

I don’t get it…someone help me out here….bought the biplant..harvested the first crop free….planted more tulips for the co-op…over 100 tulip costed 1 FVC to harvest by biplane….tried it again with 184 newly planted watemelon….had 13 FVC in bank…tried to biplane for instant harvest…said i did not have enuff FMC to do..WTF ???

Serious question, does having 2 Biplanes cost double? I am not sure but after using the formula above, I feel the last time I used Biplane, it collected twice as many FV cash for the job. I am just suspecting it. Anyone else ?
Why two Biplanes? One I bought and the next was gold reward for co-op!! Besides that I love Biplanes.
