FarmVille seems to be slowly rolling out a brand new feature to farmers this evening. There are 5 steps in order to unite the Baby Brown Lamb and the Brown Sheep:

- Become a fan of FarmVille
- Return to the FarmVille App 3 Days in a Row
- Get 5 friends to help by sending them a request to start playing the game

It is also possible to skip the last step paying some Farm Cash, I think it was around 15, but not sure. Just click “OK!” and you’ll get the option.

II sent out invites to people who play my other apps, but I not harrassing people that don’t already play apps. If I get the brown sheep, Awesome, if not, well that sucks, but I’ve managed to get all the rest of the sheep put out, so I’m not complaining much. I just think it sucks for those who can’t get this because they have to invite other people that don’t play FV.

VERY LAME-the friends that choose not to play probably do not want you to annoy them with your invites….so you can get an in-game item. “Geez you want me to join so I can help you get some virtual item for yourself….ummm no thanks”

Understand the manipulation being forced upon us….poor poor zynga developers..they were naughty last year and Santa gave them coal instead of the special items they really wanted. Oh that is such a shame..however we the players are being held hostage..either bug non players to play or na na na na na you will not be allowed to get your cute little brown lamb and sheep..oh but wait if you pay 15 FV guess you can get it after 3 days of waiting for it…oh ok…feel like see it all but this one is taking the cake.

Doesn’t zynga understand that sending requests to play to non playing friends is how you LOSE friends? Even when I accidentally send reward messages to non-playing friends I get nasty comments, like “do not send me that crap!”
I value my friends more than anything zynga would offer.

Well I wonder how many times Fran Cunnigham photocopied her butt before she came up with that terrible comment,lol………. For all of you out there that has nothing better to do than complain about every new idea that Zynga comes out with, I have an idea for ya, quit playing the game if it apparently sucks to you that bad. Now if you dont want to bother your non-playing farmville friends then dont bother your friends, I personally dont blame you cause I wont either, you are right if they wanted to play they would by now, and if they dont they have their reasons, so after that you have two choices, either pay the 15 farmcash or dont, if you dont you miss out on two rare animals, your loss, you are welcome to get on my farm and look at them if you want too cause honestly I love the sheep and I have been wanting them too come out with the lambs for awhile now, so there is no way im going too pass that up, I think its pretty awesome to have things on my farm that others dont have. Now for the ones that talk about spending their hard earned cash well that is a personal decision, but I bet for everybody that has made that comment they either have a playstation,64,WII, or some other kind of game system in their home, with a stock pile of games that go with the system, so honestly whats the difference? The last thing I got to say for all you whiny people out there, you cant expect everything in life to be handed to you, Zynga has to make money some how, cause in case you forgot the GAME is free, so in game purchases is how they make their money, and guess what it takes money in order to be able to give all of you demanding farm addicts a free game to play everyday. So quit the bickering and either send the requests, pay the farmcash, or do without, either way, stop with the childish comments cause personally its pretty pathetic.

Wait. If I won’t recruit new FV/Zynga users, *I* have to PAY *them* for the privelege of being a gamer? Seriously? Uh. No. Epic fail on every epic proportion. So not going to do this. It’ll never end after this. Between the snowman debacle of 2010 and the Lost Sheep of 2011… this game is going nowhere good. Same as #28 (Karen) I also had people on the list that already play FarmVille–so look at your lists people, you might be lucky. As far as paying your own money in order to have farm cash; every time you level up you are given a dollar, plus you can do surveys once a day in order to get 10 or 15 credits for just a little bit of your time. The credits can then be redeemed for farm cash.

I really hate it when they do this! I love to play, but will NOT bug friends or play other games just to get some item and I think it’s really unfair to ask us to!!!! Instead they should apply themselves to make things WORK… I can hardly visit the neighbors I have, cause everything is loading incredibly SLOW and half the time gifting doesn’t work properly and and and… so Farmville people: Please help us play BETTER instead of coming up with harebrained ideas! um… so I am all in favor of NOT pestering friends that don’t play FV with requests… but I when i clicked on ask 5 friends it brought up my entire FB friend list. I clicked like 8 people (better to have to many than not enough) and now it says its done.
So, I am not sure what everyone is freaking out about. I would go and see what it says before you flip out, but that is just me.

Honestly, if I hadn’t already played for so long, I would NOT accept an invite for this. This game is slowly spiraling down the tubes. With all the complaints about FV issues (loading, holiday tree, snowman, out of sync errors… just to name a few) I don’t see why new people would want to accept. I only play out of a little bit of hope that the Zynga people will fix this somehow.
Oh, and my holiday tree is STILL not letting me send gifts.

Kyra – same here, I couldn’t share presents.. didn’t mind so much with winter whimsys etc but I really wanted to share the kodiak bear and arctic fox but wasn’t able to. I also lost a lot of gifts recived via the message centre. They need to stop releasing new features and concerntrate on fixing the glitches. Better to have features that actually work instead of continually annoying longstanding players by releasing what amounts to shoddy workmanship.

@#74, Libby – I too could not send xmas gifts to my friends once I redeemed my fox and bear. I wrote to Zynga and they asked for the faceook IDs of the people I wanted to send them to and Zynga put those items in their giftboxes for me. I would try support and see if they ill do it for you too.

I’m not bugging my friends either… If people wanted to play, they would already be playing. You can however, do what I did and create 5 new emails to create 5 new facebooks, then add them all to your friends list and then send the request to play to those 5 accounts, and there ya go! =)

I had 5 of my friends that don’t play accept my invite and now the progress bar indicates I need to ask 6 more of my friends to help. WTF! are they crazy?
I believe we will see another 20$FV deposit in each of our accounts soon because Zygna fail again just like frosty the expensive snowman.

Well apparently I have offended a few people with my “overdramtic” comment as Jasonn puts it. Sorry their are some out there that can not handle being called out and the truth being spoken. As for what “Shehears” had to say, of course there are plenty of my awesome friends that have stuff that I dont have, honestly I love getting on their farms and looking at all of the cool stuff they have aquired, thats why every farm is so unique!! There are plenty of things that came out before I started playing, things that I could not afford, or just things that I didnt want, things that plenty of other people have, really cool and im glad. As for the comment I made wanting Zynga to come out with the baby lambs for awhile now, I was referring to a suggestion something like our horse stable, to where all of our different kinds of sheep could have that same kind of baby lamb, Love Ewe Lamb, Scared Ewe Lamb, Kick Ewe Lamb, etc.etc. Something more than the white lamb, which by the way I do have. Anyway, yes I agree with everybody on the fact that this idea was not Zyngas best idea, bothering our non-playing friends is not right. What I was getting at is the fact that everyone is so quick to complain about everything that Zynga comes out with, but yet you find their butts glued to their computer 24/7, playing the free game that Zynga created for them!!! Anyway this whole back and forth thing is childish, and yes even for me, although I cant help but to comment on peoples childish stupidity at times. Anyway ive got better things to do, I believe I will glue my “obsessed” butt here to my chair for awhile and do some farming, lmao. P.S. I personally think 7.50 farmcash a piece (15 farmcash) for the pair is a fair price to pay. Lord knows I have paid out alot more farmcash than that for an animal that I wanted….. I personally don’t think it’s such a big deal to get 5 friends to help you, I mean if they’re REALLY your friends they’d be happy to help. It’s not like they HAVE to play they can just add it and whatever, not play.
That said, I feel uncomfortable asking them and it’s pretty deceptive how zynga chooses to word things, “get 5 friends to help” instead of get 5 new people to start playing. I have 5 farmville friends that would gladly help, technically they’re my friends too yet I am not allowed to use them, but zynga said get 5 freinds to help. Duh :p
I couldn’t care less about getting this sheep and lamb anymore.

Myself either won’t bother my friends who don’t want to play..sorry fv…it’s like when you accept a new friends, fv puts him under your farmville friends so you won’t notice and keep bugging him when sending gifts to all friends. As for paying for it sorry again. They should give us more fv cash…not just one per level…my god we work hard to be rewarded with only 1 per level and then all the new stuff cost more than what we have in cash.

THIS IS SOOO UNFAIR! i have over 100 friends but i think ALL of them play fv and the ones tht don’t, i don’t really want to ask them to play cos the will probably ignore it… and anyway the buttons don’t work when i click on them!

Zynga is and never was INTENDED to be a free game! That is how Znga entices people to play, to begin with. Look at all these posts and actually see how many people PAY 15 FV cash to get something that doesn’t EXIST except on your pc. They are no different than the MILLIONS of people who PAY for games like xbox, playstation 3, WII. Just like cable, etc. do you get any REALLY good channels on BASIC. Zynga as with any other franchise out there is initial tactic is to MAKE MONEY! How do they do it? The players!
Now take another look at some of the complaints on this page! These complaints also have an IDEA that they want to express out of their frustration and anger about Zynga ripping them off or screwing up the game.
Reminds me of the time of sweet BLISS when they HAD the mystery boxes, you could send them to your friends! Thats how I got Alot of my rare items! BUT NO! Somebody had to open their yap and (bleep) about they got ripped off because they got duplicates. One when you bought something in the mystery boxes you should have kept it on your farm til you got the other five objects, animals, etc. THEN, sold the things you didn’t want. No you got upset and sold them and then you bought another box and got the same thing. DUH. Oh and Thank you for (bleepin’) it up for the rest of us! I was just chillin’ with my rare items sending all these to my MAIN FARM, since at the time you could send them to a friend. BUT NO! People had to (Bleep) because they got duplicates, because they weren’t smart enough in the first place to even play the game. Sorry, I recant that last statement, it’s not your fault… LOL.
As I was saying , What happened? Well instead of just buying six mystery boxes from before, Zynga gets the idea from all the complainers out there, DUPLICATES you say! Well lets make a game that we really could make some money off of and throw the same amount of items, but make them seem a lil more rare! Yes yes make a rare , an uncommon , and a common. Yes yes EEgore throw the switch!

And what did you get? Tell me what did all you complaining do! You got a MYSTERY GAME that you have to maybe pay 16 to 20 FV cash for from 1 to 25 x thats 1 time or 25 times to get what you want! AND PLUS you get what? DUPLICATES! Say it with me! I got a duplicate! No, I didnt get a duplicate because I don’t play, but YOU did! Not me! I don’t play, because you (bleepin’) losers screwed it up for everyone else who was enjoying playing the game and the challenge of getting things without PAYING FARM CASH! For once in your life stop being so negative and actually put your opinions to good use! Read your complaint out LOUD to yourself! If you don’t want to pay farmcash for an object or an item. Don’t! Just say that! That’s it! If you don’t want to bother your friends! Dont! That’s it! Zynga loves my ideas, I gave them the idea to make this new gift request Zynga center! That they were having a difficult time in designing! Thank me for the POSITIVE idea, that I gave Zynga! AND not a MONEY MAKING idea! And I applaud Loving Farmville for their opinion! Say what you have to say and be done with it! But Zynga relies on US for the Brain power! If we complain to much and say something that they can make money off of YOU have no one to BLAME but YOURSELF! NOT ZYNGA! Take the time to actually think about that! They are in it to make MONEY! Nothing more! Nothing Less! If you want basic, stick with Basic. If you want more! You have to PAY for MORE! Simple!

I don’t get it. It says get five friends to unlock. I invited two who accepted. NOW the progress says I need six more. Seriously? Wtf?
What kind of math grades did Zynga people get?
Can someone explain this?

@ Mark, You don’t have to make your friends who don’t want to play farmville, just try to find the ones who will and try to add them and boom… there you go. If that won’t work for you then just wait for a different event.

I still can’t get past the fan part of the lamb/sheep thing. I try to click on the button but nothing happens. I am a fan already but it shows that I am not. I would glady pay for the lamb and sheep but there is no place to click to do that. Does anyone have any suggestions?

my okay buttons do not work either. have tried several times. as far as getting friends to help, I have had request from my other friends that says they need me to play farmville so they can reunite them, I have been playing for months…dont know. wish my buttons worked though, oh well

I did it,,I asked 5 very close friends and they did it, but had to take some ribbing from them and I didn’t get the lamb,sheep or the $$$$..Rip off!

I invited 5 friends all accepted. It keeps saying I need one more friend to unlock, so I invited 3 more they accepted. It still says I need one more friend. SERIOUSLY?

This might of worked the first time it came out, but the email updates button doesn’t work, the screen just goes grey and freezes-they need to remove this as its annoying.
