It’s a Buggy day in FarmVille
With last night’s update, there has also been lots of technical issues causing it to be a very buggy day in FarmVille!
You may have noticed there’s several new buggish pop-ups like these:

-Some of you cannot access your FarmVille accounts. Do not worry about your crops, for the meantime Zynga has disabled the withering function, so your crops will not wither if you are unable to access your farm. Official word from Zynga:
- “Howdy farmers! We are resolving reported LOADING issues and have TURNED OFF WITHER, so your crops and farms are safe. Fix coming soon!”
-Others have lost various amounts of farm cash due to the Christmas Light glitch.
-There are reports of faulty Chicken Coops not working or causing access issues. If you are experiencing difficulty or problems with your Chicken Coop and feeding chickens, report your errors to Zynga here:

I have lost all of the items in my Gift box. I had a ton of special items obtained through mystery eggs and mystery boxes! I certainly hope Zynga fixes it and can restore my farm, along with the gift box items! Has anyone else experienced this?

I just tried to login to my Facebook account and it said that my account was temporarily unavailable due to site maintance, so maybe all of the bugs are getting fixed as we speak!?!

Everytime i start doing something it tells me ” Farmville has been enhanced. Please refresh the page to continue” !!!! and once it forces me to refresh the page it takes ages to reload the farm!!!!

What a lot of bugs … I know FV is in beta but I do wonder how much testing the developers actually do do.
Every time I help out at a neighbour’s farm I’m getting out of sync issues and very annoyingly I came back to my farm today (I suspose I’m lucky I could get in) all my damn neatly arranged animals had been set to roam around the farm urghhhhhhhhhhhhh
On top of that I I’ve lost so much free farm fuel that was gifted to me – just disapeared!!
Ho hum – looking foward to planting the new flower crop though.

I was finally able to login to my Facebook account and the little FV banner said that they are working on the loading issues and that our crops will unwithered when we are able to get back on so we can harvest them without penalty. I tried going to farmville.com, but I still get the same message. My sister is able to go on her FV on both the laptop and desktop, but when I try to login, I am still at the load screen! Weird!

Some are reporting their gifts gone. Only time will tell. I have a full gift box-many fuel refills, so hoping they will still be there.
FV will most likely always be in Beta. Beta is a bit of a joke, look how many things google has that have been in beta for years.

Have not been able to log on since the update..interestingly, my sister’s and mom’s farm and all my other friends seem okay and can log in . When I try to access my farm from my sister’s or mom’s account it says unable to load and then I get an “out of sync” message. Well..a day of lost revenue that I could earn (altho the crops will not wither), but the good thing is that I reaize I can LIVE without farmville!

Having access problems it is now 3 p.m. and since noon I have been unable to get in to Farmville. I took care of about 1/2 of my neighbors farms, feed some chickens, is that the problem? When will we be able to get on Farmville again I’m having withdrawal symptoms.

Same here …. I haven’t been able to get into Farmville all day long.
It loads almost … but then stops about 3/4 of the way.
I see a lot of postings my friends are doing, so I guess they are able to get in.

I’ve been having some problems today, and the same problems a few days before…the message saying Farmville has been enhanced appears occasionally, and even if I decide to continue, I leave my farm, and it’s like nothing happened…I thought the whole point of that option was that we could keep doing what we need to do.

this has been a really bad day for FV….1 cant log onto my farm….2 b/f has been getting days of fuel but i havent and i am the one who is on here all the time….3. day lost of collecting prizes i have been taking them off the wall and claiming then thought i dont know how much is in my gift box…so stopped cause will i loose them after 30 ….if they can suppend withering why dont they suppend 30 limit when we cant access our farms…so we dont loose out too….sorry guess i am just ranting
went back to and downloaded my games from another site incase this keeps up i can go do my farm frenzy 3 again….figures i find a game i really like and it does this almost weekly…..HAPPY FARMING …bah humbug….

Has anyone noticed that crop mastery points are not being added up? I planted loads of berries to take advantage of the free fuel but the status bar in the market place hasn’t moved. I should have stars for raspberries, blackberries and blueberries by now. In all the chaos recently, this bug hasn’t been mentioned. I’ve reported it to Zynga.

At a guess, the reason why some users are not experiencing any problems is because they are on a different server to the users who can’t get in. I am one of the latter, and today has taught me that I am unhealthily hooked on Farmville. Maybe FV’s screwups are a good thing in some ways.

@ Erica- Yeah, that’s really,really weird! Hopefully it will get fixed in a few hours! I hatched a lot of golden eggs today, one containing a donkey and I have adopted a few animals! Only time will tell if they will be in my giftbox!

Oh well, I can survive! I’m crossing my fingers that all the bugs get fixed!

I really don’t know why, but all the people around me are asking why they can’t reach to their farms or why they have lost cash… But I can’t answer them, because my farm is perfectly intact! NOTHING going wrong… Except that I can’t access my friends’ farms

Not only can I not get into farmville, I had problems yesterday with animals amuck. the animals were moving without any help. it was like a little lepracun had come and taken over the animals. Lets get things fixed so we can go back to farming.

Looks the feed chicken coop is screwing up FV. Ever since I tried feeding the coops I have been unable to logon. Same thing for several of my neighbors.

It’s official…. it’s been 13 Hours since I can’t load my farm hahaha I’m just going crazy!
I just hope I won’t loose my gifts, since today I have opened pretty nice ones!!

How many millions do zynga make from FarmVille? Can’t they afford to hire some coders WHO KNOW HOW TO RUN A PROPER RELEASE CYCLE?
I’m getting sick of this and “being in beta” is no excuse. When the codebase is updated, bloody TEST it before releasing it and if there are problems like these then make sure there is a proper rollback plan that was designed BEFORE the release.
Very unprofessional. Very unimpressed. Zynga grew mighty fast and maybe weren’t ready for it, time for management to take some time out to focus on getting the shop up to speed on professional software engineering standards.

This morning i was able to get in, but since then i cannot, I asked some neighbours to visit my farm but they told me that they cuoldn’t. :’(

Farmville freaks, has anyone figured out a way around this? The good thing is that my crops are not going to die, but we’re loosing out on our 3 fuel refills for today and also many mystery eggs and other animals. My gift box is full and it’s not letting me accept anything or try for gold eggs.
Very frustrated. If anyone has any answers, let me know!

To those of you who are complaining about your animals moving around…Zynga made an update Monday night/Tuesday morning that enhanced the animal movements. Before the update, animals set to allow walk wouldn’t always (if ever) move around. The update fixed this so now all animals will walk around unless specifically set to stay. Also, the default setting for animals it allow walk, and pulling animals out of the chicken coop or the dairy farm will revert their status to allow walk.
Hopefully that helps some of you folks. As far as the not loading issue, I am one of the casualties. I have not been able to get on today, but my wife has been able to just fine. I am getting frustrated, I just hope I don’t lose any of my stuff as others have mentioned.

Yeah this is getting crazy. It went out around 4:00 am for me and I have been trying all day to connect. I tried Farmville.com too. I sure hope all the animals and presents I got today will be in my gift box. I am trying to very hard to be patient. They should give us free FV Cash for the trouble.

Clearly this is a debacle.
The problem is Zynga probably doesn’t care since they are making so much money.
The most surprising thing is that there aren’t competitors with better products competing for the same market.
Why don’t the media companies make a better version?
FV is such a family franchise, where’s Disney, Lego, Viacom (thru nickelodeon)?
Point being, a real company would probably do a much more reliable job creating updates. And most likely would create a much more interesting game.
I think the silver lining is that it makes you stop and think how stupid the whole thing really is and forces you to break the habit of checking in on your farm.

Off topic – I went to see “Avatar” in 3D/IMAX. Great movie, it’s nice that FV isn’t working cuz I went out and did normal people things.
To the poster asking for FV gifts – really on a discussion board where “most” people are having problems signing into FV. You’re a HOOT!
I hope for my sanity, I wake up tomorrow without the urge to plant/fertilize/feed/harvest or plow and maybe I’ll go out again – anyone what to see “A Single Man” in Irvine, CA with me? Maybe dinner too.
Gotta have a sense of humor, otherwise….. what’s your option?

well I have had strange things happening to my farm….like my animals moving all around, lost gifts, crops I planted got erased and lost coins and xp too! I did what they said to add a second chicken coop and every time I go and try to put on my farm I get a message saying the game is out of sync and reloads and the chicken coop goes back into my gift box, and now have been waiting 2hrs to get on to fertilize friends crops!!!

man, I usually just have the game on and check it at the proper intervals (2 or 4 hours) and that’s it. But since this glitch and not being able to harvest my carrots after them growing all night I’m going crazy. I keep clicking “refresh” all the time and I think I might have carpel tunnel with how much I’ve been sitting here staring at a screen that refuses to load!
All my friends are getting eggs and I cannot remember how much is in my box. It says I’ve gotten at least six golden chickens this morning, I’ll be royally pissed if it doesn’t let me keep them!

I only have one coop, I was able to log on this morning, then after i fed some of my friends coops and foud one brown egg, my farm went “out of sinc” and i havent been able to log all day. this sucks specialy in free fuel week

Hi! I’m the old lady here…59 and totally addicted. I was able to log on this morning, but since then – nothing. So I cleaned my house instead! BTW, this was my last day of vacation. As for the walking animals: I LOVE that! Mine walked a few days ago for the very first time! I stayed up till 4 AM just watching the little darlings
Anyway, calm down everyone. Complaining won’t help.It’s a computer game, and take it for what it’s worth. I’m frustrated, too, but such is life. Things could always be worse. Your hard drive could blow up! RELAX……

No one seems to be concerned like I am of all the free fuel I am losing by not being able to get to my farm. It started with the coops. After visiting coops and feeding chickens I could not get on my farm. My wife did not visit neighbor coops and her farm works fine. We are also losing the possibility of visiting neighbors farms. What a way to run a site that makes lots of money.

From FV- Do not feed or fertilize and do not post for you neighbors to post feed/fertilize this is causing your neighbors trouble and they are not able to get on their farms.

FarmVille has not worked since very early this morning. Made the mistake of trying to fertilize neighbours chicken coops and it hasn’t worked since.
Can’t get into farm on Facebook/FarmVille or on FarmVille.com.
Can’t put anything in Gift Box as it is full.
Can’t put presents under Christmas Tree which runs out tomorrow.
Can’t retrieve waiting FarmVille Gift Requests.
Can’t get fuel.
Can’t get Mystery Eggs.
Can’t get Bonuses.
Can’t get Presents.
Can’t get wandering animals.
Can’t adopt animals.
No Free Fuel since Free Fuel Day One.
No bonus coins for playing every day for several weeks.
In other words, Zynga/FarmVille, I can do nothing with my farm except watch what most of my neighbours are doing. Not really fair.

Fed up to the back teeth no access for 16 hours…gifts I,ve claimed are probadly lost. In November and December I bought FV cash and still everytime they release new things we go throught all this hassle. Well if they don,t sort it out in the next 12/18 hours I,m gone. They encourage us to fertilise farms, invite friends and now buy more cash for another ribbon and they can,t test the programme before sending us all mad……

According to my wall, here’s the latest.
Do NOT fertilize or request fertilization to or from your neighbors as the “overload” is over-whelming for the technicians.
Seems this new chicken feeding has over taken the system.
Personally, all that sounds legit but if we can’t get on it, how can we be the problem. If this was actually true and it may well be, why not shut it down for everyone or “turn-off” feeding and fertilizing till the problem is resolved? I know why…it makes too much sense,

So many problem with farmville in recent days if this is because all those new feature they are trying to offer then I think all should agree to cut down some to make it fast. From yesterday I’m trying to log in but don’t have any clue about when the developers are going to fix it.
Some reported that they also restricted for multiple chicken coops in their farm but no correct explanation what so ever. I really can’t count on problems I want to report zynga to fix…….

Ok I finally got on (after 13 hours) but lost my starfruit tree i got (not a big deal, I can get another one) and I lost out on my third day of fuel. Anyone else?

I still can’t open my FARM as of today. I hope ZYNGA will fix the error as soon as possible they can coz’ it’s all waste of time.. T_T

Update: 10:43PM PDT: The FarmVille staff is close to resolving recent loading issues. In the meantime, crops are still safe from wither. Please stand by.

OK, i understand running a world wide known game isn’t that easy but me and my friends make a stardoll.com blog and never and i know what i say never happened stuff like this
1.can’t visit my lovely farm
2.neighbors’ can’t visit me
3. i am probably gonna lose my 3 free fuel that i need a lot these days
4. i am scared about my fuel refills in the gift box i accepted today morning without knowing that i won’t be able to get to my farm
5. this is all the feeding chicken fault, it is overloading the programm and i got an golden egg from a neighbors’ coop, i shared it and then bye bye farmville
6.nearly 24 hours has passed since i can’t get on my farm
7, god thanks the crops are safe from withering because i cant afford planting lilies again
hope this gets fixed today later because i want to see my farm now!

I can get on now too, but no fuel and cannot fertilize, can feed coops but don’t want to just in case. Also I think when people use the send gift back feature ( new feature after you accept gift) the receiver loses the gift-that’s happening a lot so I’ve lost a lot of gifts which are mainly fuel, which is what I need. So much for free fuel week.

Its been goin on for two days now, my animals are moving around on their own. Its really freaky, to see it. I set up all my animals neatly for the collecting 5,000 farm animals, and now they are going everywhere. A rabbit moved into my deers, my chickens are going into my bulls. Its crazy, while I try to re-organize them, they start up all over again. Glitches and updates go together. Tha lagg is awful. I hated to log on.

hey,
unable to get mystery eggs this morning. got two, and when i clicked on share, the screen froze, and i lost the eggs. i have firefox, and in the lower left hand corner it said stopped, and then went to done. no eggs, and no coins either.

Animals moving everywhere, gifts disappearing, sync problems. mastery points missing, chicken coop problems. ( please more coops..I am about to sell all my chickens)..just to name a few….. could name many more
Special Eggs..hardly see one and I see nothing special about getting more chickens all the time…The special eggs should have special gifts…not more chickens. I can only hope some of this can be recovered. It is very frustrating.

That is so not true. I have 3 neighbors that were unable to get onto FV and they only have 1 coop. I know of an entire group of people that have two coops or more ( not my neighbors) and they had no problems with FV yesterday.

I’ve lost so many gifts and new friends because of these problems this week. It just sucks. You can’t get them back. Most of them we will never know what they because they were gifts. How about giving us access to more chicken coops I must have a hundred or more chickens since all this egg stuff started I need coops to put them in and 20 to a coop just isn’t enough. HELP And I need more room on my farm. All these new item a big where are we suppose to put them? I keep have to sell things because I just don’t have the room. Please lets get bigger farms.

I had 50 valentine gifts accepted. When I went to farmville my giftbox and mailbox was empty and was back to where I started. Why does this keep happening. Very frustrated Zinga. I hope you can restore our gifts. Not pleasant to collect them then in a split second your website malfunction takes them all away.

I was able to get into Facebook & Farmville Thrus the 4th of Feb & again on the 6th & can get into it anymore have no clue as to what went wrong was suppose to take care of my farm Sunday so now I’m sure my crops are all dried up Don’t know how to report a problem or who can anyone help? thanks

I am having load issues with FV, cant get on to my farm to play since this morning.
Via Facebook.. I can see gift page, neighbours etc but when I click on play or accept gifts , my farm or neighbours farms won’t load. Via Farmville.com is even worst.,, the page won’t even load.
What’s happening!! Is anyone having similar issues?

I have spent a week now trying to get zynga customer service ti listen to my complaint about a farm upgrade that didnt go yet it took the fv cash. no upgrade. Missing coins that seems to happen after i harvested my crops and left that page. it had to reload the page twice to get no errors and then bingo. missing coins. even after a week of emails they only directed me to basically service my compuetr. ha. my computer is just fine, I used my grandsons and two other computers we have here and all the same. i lose 1of3 gifts sent to my gift box. So the last status of this is Farmville will do nothing. Gee i added the cash on my account with a credit card. Perhaps if i cared to waste 5,000.00 to chase it down i might get my $5 dollars back or they may get off their lazy rears and replace trhe fv dollars or give me the upgrade farm i paid for, But they know that nobody would do this since it would be more trouble than it’s worth, Nah i think just do what i am doing. Telling everybody i can about their shotty customer service untill they do what is right? hope they enjoyed the customer feedback they asked for last night. funny they sent me a email asking me how good their customer service was rotflmao…….

I finally got to get two gold eggs and hatchthem and was so excited because one was a black cottage and one was pink so i looked in my gifts and i didnt have either one of them….Now upset and would like to no what the hell happen

I have been playing FV since August last year. I would say that i am addicted to the game by all means. have crossed level 70 ages back. gained more than 1,000,000 (Yes!!! One Million) XPs and couple of millions of coins as well. Have spent hundreds of US dollars for purchasing virtual FV goods. But this thing keeps me worrying. Being unable to access to farm is keeping a drug addict from drugs
well.. i don’t know how they really feel.. but i think i feel the same way. Zynga surely have made dozens of millions of dollars out of the game. so, why can’t they keep it up? why do they always have problem. if you use the Harvester, Tractor or the harvester, you have to wait every now and then to see the Saving box. else, every 2 minutes it will go on out of sync.
Well.. crops may not wither. but what about the co-ops? what about the jobs that we have started or joined?
FV is a wonderful game Zynga brought for us.. especially to play for free
- though they made more money – than most others did. they should be able to do better than this.
Besides, we do not require updates twice a days. nor we want new stuff every week.

Farmville was going good with me but suddenly it wont load above 50%.. I can send recive gifts and adopt animals though the page doesnt appear I find the adopted animal in the gift box after hours of waiting to load farmville.
Pls help me… many of my friends are having the same problem… Too many upgrades at the same time is not nessesary… Every week a new thing and it doesnt work.. What the heck…Pls help farmville lovers to love it more… and play it well.. PLS

i have experiencing the loading issues too, the problem is not on the computer because my friend can open their farm on the same pc but me my farm wont load, now for 4 days, i dont know if my puppy would runaway and zynga keeps on email me that my puppy is hungry, how can i feed my puppy if i cant access on my farm, i already did the troubleshooting guide that mentioned in the zynga forum and even contacted the farmville support for help but nothing is going right, i dont know whats went wrong i am level 41 and if its gonna make me freak trying opening my farm, im quitting

I am not getting any of my gifts that people are sending me. I am a pretty new player am I not doing something right? I know they are being sent because I can see it in my comments that people are sending me stuff. I contacted Zynga but no response from them yet. Please help!!!

I have fought all morning trying to get on my farm. I get so disgusted I just get up and leave. I have several of my Grandchildren playing and I want to be able to get onto their farms and help them out. It is only for them they I keep on trying, But———!!??
