You may have seen our earlier post about Farmville scams. Since then the in-game offers have been pulled and are no longer available for Farmville.
It is still unclear if they will ever return as many people were getting ripped off.
Zynga CEO admitted to knowing about the scams and doing “every horrible thing in the book” to gain revenue fast. They were aware of problems and that many people who were not computer/internet savvy were being taken advantage of, but clearly the revenue was too good. He has since vowed that he would remove the offers and clean up Zynga advertisers.

This situation is a double edged sword, so to speak. He used “every horrible trick in the book” to get the revenue into the company which is very unethical. However, he now has full control of his company which will allow him to make up for his wrong doings (if he so chooses).

*SIGH* Because of those idiots who willingly take on the offers, the people who know how to work the offers, taking advantage of the “free” offers, are at a lost.
