Zynga’s FarmVille Partners with MSN Games
Zynga recently partnered with MSN Games by letting its most popular game, FarmVille, be featured on the Microsoft website.
Users of MSN Games can now play FarmVille on the site. You will still have to be logged into your Facebook connect in order to play. FarmVille was originally only available on Facebook, then later through FarmVille.com and has added MSN as another option to connect to your farm.
This is an interesting step made by Zynga and could be a huge step towards life after “Beta”. Could partnering with Microsoft mean that FarmVille is closer to transitioning into a computer or video game console based platform and possible subscription services?

I’ve been preaching for ages that farmville would be much better if you had to have a copy of the game on your computer. It seems like an obvious MMO game. I think it could become a very popular World of Warcraft scale game…

Excuse me I work for Microsoft we aren’t the devil, money grubbing company you all think we are.
Anyhow the only reason we linked up with farmville was to help it in the future possible launch out on its own.
