FarmVille Extra Fertilizer for Dairy Farm

Farmville Freak,
I just received extra bags of fertilizer while harvesting my dairy farm! I’ve only gotten this message once before, but I thought I might share it with you if you didn’t already have it in your records. I’ve included a Screen Shot of the publishing window to show what the message looks like… I acted too slowly to include the official notice that pops up on farmville that allows one to share… But what my thought was to make this happen is: upon signing in today, I harvested my crops that were ready. Then before plowing them right away, I harvested my dairy farms. I don’t know if this is coincidence but I went through the same process the last time I received this message. So maybe Fallow Land helps provoke extra fertilizer from the dairy farms. Just a thought…

It was actually announced a long time ago–I’ve just never seen anyone with the popup until now. Got a popup myself yesterday, so I guess the feature’s officially released?

I think it’s released, I got it too… but I don’t know how exactly it works – whether the people visiting your farm will get 10 bags of fertilizer or just 5 as usual…

@ everybody above….i’ve already had the chance today to click on a neighbors 5 extra bags of fetilizer post and got to fertilize 10 crops instead of the usual 5.☺

I clicked on someone else’s post of extra fertilizer on my news feed, but it wouldn’t let me use it on her farm because I already had fertilized her yesterday. Does that make sense? In other words, how exactly does this work, can someone give a detailed explanation?

I tried this too and yes after harvesting my crop then doing my dairy farms before plowing my land i also got the pop up for 5 more extra bags woop woop

I like it but the notice looks too much like the other fertilizer notices, as a result most people miss it. I got one yesterday and nobody noticed or they had already fertilized my farm. So it kind of sucks.

I’ve heard about this before in the podcast, but never got a chance to see it! I will try harvesting crops then collecting from my dairy farm to get extra bags. Upon looking at my friends news feed, I did indeed see some posts for extra fertilizer, so when I visited their farm, I had exactly 10 bags to use for them! Now if I could only make this work for me!! >^_^<

I tried it, didnt work, I harvested my ready coop, then my dairy farm, and nothing. Ill try it again tomorrow.

I’ve gotten this a few times, but no one used it…I claimed it when one of my friends found it, but I fertilized his farm earlier, so it didn’t let me do it…kinda stupid…

Using the extra bags of fertilizer is complicated. First you have to know you have not fertilized the neighbors field for at least 24 hours. If not then you can click on extra fertilizer that your neighbor has on their facebook page and it will take you to their farm and you can then fertilize 10 of their plots instead of the usual 5. If however you have fertilized their plots within the last 24 hours and you click on the extra fertilizer that they found nothing will happen. However you will not be able to utilize that extra fertilizer again even though you really didn’t use it. Make sense? Botton line is unless there is exact coordination on times of neighbors fertilizing your fields and you finding extra fertilizer in your dairy barn the chances that your neighbors will use the extra fertilizer to actually fertilize your crops are very slim. It works for me because I have 10 neighbors who I work closely with and as a result everytime I find extra fertilizer I get 100 plots instead of 50 fertilized.

i logged on and both my chicken coop and my dairy farms were deleted AS WELL as every single thing in my gift box =(
has this happened to anyone else? its very upsetting i lost 20 golden chickens and tons of limited edition green cows =((((((

Have a frd who gets 3XP/crop when they fertilize their frds crops…so for 5crops she gets 15xp each frd!!! is it possible.. she is not even aware how and when it started to go that way… anybody else also has that???

I’ve gotten the xtra fertilizer 2 days in a row now. I have 5 full dairy farms and not sure exactly which farm it comes from. Both days I collected milk AFTER harvesting, plowing & planting. So I don’t think the order matters i.e. collecting milk right after harvesting. The first time there was a stampede of fertilizers to my farm lol, the second time, I just posted minutes ago , so I have no idea how many people have been able to fert. Does anyone know if there are limits on how many of your neighbors can use the extra bags?
