FarmVille French La Maison Building Information

FarmVille introduced a French La Maison building on 03.12.10.

The La Maison is part of the limited edition French Chateau collection. It can either be purchased completed for 50 FV$ farm cash or you can purchase the frame only for 5,000 coins along with utilizing the help of your FarmVille neighbors for free building supplies and materials.

The process of building will work similarly to other buildings that require neighbor help, such as the Barn Raising, Horse Stable and Chicken Coop expansion.
The La Maison is NOT a building with purpose, it is only a decorative building. According to Zynga via Lexilicious, you can only have one buildable La Maison, but may purchase as many as you want with farm cash. Once you complete building, it can be stored.

La Maison Building details from Zynga Community Manager, Lexilicious:
“The La Maison foundation can be purchased from the Buildings section of Market for 5,000 Coins.
Once you’ve placed the Foundation on your farm, you will be prompted with a message letting you know that you can post a feed to ask you friends for help building your Maison.
Clicking the “Share” button will give you the option to post a feed to your wall asking your Neighbors for help.In order to complete your La Maison, you’ll need to finish building it. Selecting ‘Look Inside’ from your foundation’s menu will show you what you need to complete your La Maison.
When you first place the foundation, you’ll have one Slate Tile already. In order to build a complete La Maison you’ll need 10 of each item. You can get these items one of two ways:1. From neighbors via the Free Gifts menu.
Neighbors can send you the components you need to build your La Maison. Your Neighbors will be able to send you two of the five types of building components to help you complete your La Maison.
Please note that the two components displayed on the Free Gifts Page are randomized. As such, the components displayed on the Free Gifts Page may be different for each user.When neighbors send you a building component, it works exactly like any other free gift. After you accept the gift it will appear in your gift box.
After clicking the “use” button under the gift it will automatically be added to your La Maison.
2. Purchasing components from the Market,
You can purchase components required to build your La Maison from the Market for 1 Farm Cash per item.
When you reach 25 items, you’ll receive pop-up that will allow you to post a feed to your wall. The first ten neighbors to click this feed will receive a random building component for their own La Maison construction.
When you complete your La Maison, you will receive a popup asking you if you’d like to share the news with your friends. Clicking the Share button on this popup will give you the option to post a feed to your wall that will give up to five neighbors who click on it a free Provencal Pot.
Please remember that the La Maison is only a decorative item. It does not have any additional functionality.
You will not be able to store the La Maison in storage. (Note: This information seems to be incorrect as you CAN store La Maison.)
You are only able to have ONE buildable La Maison on your Farm(even when it’s complete you will be unable to start building a new one).
The original information that was provided to you all about having multiple La Maisons is incorrect.Quote:
You are able to complete multiple La Maisons for Coins. Please note that you will only be able to have one frame at a time on your Farm, so you will not be able to build more than one Maison at a time.

wow! that would be awesome! I was trying to level up from a different account just to get a provencal barn house, and I gambled 3 times for a green farm house from a different account with no success, now when I gave up, this gives me inspiration, lol.

The stuff is only available for 17 days. That means I gotta get a move on in building it. It might be hard to get my friends to send supplies and not gold.

if you’re gonna buy this with farm cash, wouldn’t it make more sense to buy the frame and then all the pieces individually since it would only be 40 cash instead of 50…?

This looks beyond amazing, but I’m worried. My friends are notoriously terrible at sending me gifts despite my pleading, and the links are still down. How the hell am I going to build this in seventeen days? I only have 7 FV$ saved up.
I may be screwed.

It is not cheaper than buying it for FV. There are 10 sets of 5 items we need to get. The one missing from above is the clingy vines. So, its 49 FV dollars (since they give one for free) when you try to build instead of 40 if you can’t get friends to send. Ahhh.. need to get moving on this.

All these new houses and castles are great, but I don’t have any room on my farm. They need to come out with a 30×30 or larger and stop messing with this 2×2 plots at a time releases. Argh.

I’ve been waiting for this since the first french stuff came out! I love that it’s not fv$. But why is it sooooo small?? It’s smaller than the french barn, that makes me sad.

La Maison is lovely, but does anyone know if an actual chateau will be released?
I just bought FV cash for the first time so I could get a few of the French items and I would like to be able to get a nice chateau on the scale of the Estate or the Villa.

^Its a provencal pot. But I tried to get one on my neighbors completed houses, and it said “Sorry, you can’t receive a reward for your own celebration!”. Lame. =/

I’m also building a second one, just started. stupidly enough I deleted all materials I didn’t need for the first one because I didn’t know you could build a second. I don’t know whether it’s a glitch but I don’t think they would take it away like the excess chicken coops?!

I went to collect an item (Brick ) for my Maison,I just needed 2 or 3 things to finish it. and I looked away and must have deleted it accidently it was with that Red han dled plow ,,THe entire Maison Frame disappeared. IS THERE ANYWAY TO GET IT BACK WITHOUT PAYING FOR IT/PLEASE I AM A DAILY PLAYING OF SEVERAL OF THESE GAMES THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME.

How can I get another French La Maison as you sent me all the parts. I had one and could not get help so deleted it, how do I go about getting another one? I don’t want to sell these parts and then get one again…. please help would be greatly appreciated, ty.
