Want to turn your farm into a Winter Wonderland!?
You can now add SNOW to blanket your farm!
The Snow Blanket will cover your farm and replace the Green land.
For only 1000 coins Snow can be yours!

Some information to know about the new Snow Blanket and Lights feature:
“The new Snow Blanket Feature allows you to change the Landscape of your farm.To place a blanket of snow on your farm, simply click on the “Upgrade Farm” Tab in the Market and select the “Snow Blanket” option. Please note that to change your farm back to the default “Green Pastures”, you will have to pay 1000 Coins. “

Doesn’t look so good when you have a ton of crops.. oh well. I want to know about the lights. The unlimited option says through the end of the year… does that mean you can put them on stuff through the end of the year, or the lights you have up come down at the end of the year? Please let us leave them up all year! lol..

I have always been an advocate of the the FV cash, but this crap is getting ridiculous!!! Who the hell wants giant snowflakes!! I mean seriously!! The only thing for coins worth buying in this release in the snow blanket, and the lodge(800k)! Weak Zynga, weak!!

There is some texture if you look close, and you can get the green back by purchasing for another 1000 coins lol Get ya coming and going

okay… these new decorations seem really half assed.
the snow looks dumb… and the raindeer topiary cant even be rotated!!! all of the NORMAL topiaries can be rotated…

lol. sorry im complaining so much. but… geeze. i get so irritated when im trying to make my farm look nice but nothing is symmetrical because i cant rotate certain items…

Can someone please tell me how we buy the “Green Pastures”? I went back to the decorations tab in the market place but I can’t seem to find it. Where do we go to purchase it back for another 1000 coins (I’m willing to pay the 1000 to get my farm back to the way it was lol. Thanks

*I found it. In order to get the Green Pastures back, go to the market place. Click on Upgrade farm. Then click on Landscape. From there, you can alternate between snow and green pastures. $1000 either way though!

I just added the snow blanket and it doesn’t look so great right now.
My neighbour has the same, except all her trees, hedges, fenches and buildings are now covered with snow. It’s very festive. Does this happen overnight once you have the snow blanket? Or do you need the buy something else (like the lights) to get almost everthing covered with snow?

it does not snow over night, you need to buy single light (2 FV cash) or unlimited lights (30 cash i think) an then click on the building(s) or tree(s) and they will be covered with snow.

I originally saw an UNUSUAL SNOWFLAKE icon – near the top of my farmville thing. This – when I clicked on it – was something so that you could dust your entire farm with snow. Well – it costs $1,000.00 coins – and I didn’t have 1,000 coins at the time so after I clicked on it – and it took me to the store section to purchase it – I couldn’t afford it – so I closed it. But NOW – I can afford it – and I cannot find it anywhere in the Decorations portion of the store. How do I get the snow now?

I really do enjoy playing farmville..my only issue is this snow..i think it’s a little ridiculous that we have to pay $1000 to get the green pasture back..we never payed for it before, it was a given..so why do we have to pay to get it back???
for that reason my farm is staying green..all tho i do think it looks very festive..i still enjoy farmville
but i will not fold…lol

I bought the snow blanket… I think it is very cheap. And I have no problem paying 1,000 to get the green pasture back. That is extremely cheap to get your entire farm decorated. I mean some of the decorations, like a little snowman or ornament, are muchhhh more expensive, and they are so much smaller.

The snow blanket was good for christmas, so now I turned it off and the sky is green now, Shouldn’t it be blue?,The snow blanket should have a night sky with stars.

bought a lodge, but how do i get the snow off??!! paid 800,00 for it and have turned the rest of my farm green again for spring but lodge has snow still, thought it was just a winter thing, and it looks stupid lol?
