Additionally, you may receive free Unwithers by visiting your FarmVille neighbors when helping tend to their farms. Upon visiting a neighbor whose crop has withered, you may have the opportunity to restore their entire crop for free! Usually neighbors that have not been active for 30 days with withered crops will trigger the free Unwithers when you visit their farm.

    First

  2. WendyLady Says:

FYI gift box can hold more than 30 now – not sure how much more but my friend noticed it cause she was at 31.

  3. Mem Says:

You can also get free unwither! I went to a friends farm, which withered a long time ago, suddenly I had a pop up saying something like “Oh no! Your friends crops is withered! Why don’t you use some unwither on your friends crops for FREE?” I accepted, and my friend had a fully grown field again. :)

  4. Mr.Doni Says:

    What the…….. ??
    30 Farm Cash for this?
    hah…. NO WAY!

  5. Diddle Farmer Says:

The gift box can hold more than 30 if you have your gift box full and earn a mastery, they won’t allow the signs to disappear because your box is full.

  6. regor Says:

I think that Farmville is quite unjust in the value they set on the FV Bucks..
30 is way too much for this item…That’s around $5 in the FV Bucks purchase scam they have running…$20 is about average for a game to play and I can see paying that but the prices they ask for the items makes the game a pay to play game and most of those are cheaper than this one if you want nice things.

  7. Yaniv Sims Says:

WHO will be that DUMB to buy this stuff? if something withered on you – you just plant new one and that’s it….. it will cost you more coins but at you wont have to spend your FV cash on that…. now i can’t see who will want to spend real money instead of coins….

  8. ariella Says:

30 farm cash is outrageous for this. I think 5 would have been more than enough!!

  9. Dragonfyre Says:

This is the most useless thing ever…if you would be willing to pay Farm Cash, you are the type of player who plans ahead with their planting, so this would never be used…unless you mess up once, and you might as well replant.

  10. Sam Says:

This would be great for those who messed up limited crops which have a Mastery.
    But FV$30 is outrageous.

It should be more like FV$3.

Or it should just cost coins – say 15 coins per plot (the cost of plowing) + half the time of the original crop for it to ‘regenerate’

Therefore Farmer loses out on coins, but not as much as the would have, and for the discount are penalized by having to wait extra ‘x’ hours before it is harvestable again.

Farmville seriously need to open up options for FV$ maybe 10,000,000 coins = FV$10 would be good (can’t make it to easy)

Plus they should re-think there Villa – $1,000,000 coins for that. It’s ugly the Estate looks much better and is far more affordable.

Then there is the fact that Farmville keeps releasing more items but doesn’t allow us any where to put things – 100 max storage?! – 30 max gifts, and 24×24 just isn’t enough.

Maybe they should open up 26, 28 and 30 squares so that we have space then think of new items.

I can’t be the only person running out of space surely.

  11. Tony Says:

Sam the villa is not ugly just because YOU say so. I think it looks just fine.

  12. austin Says:

NO FLIPPIN WAY!! and who knows the date that zynga will release farmville themes?

  13. FarmerAlda Says:

i dont really like this but i guess its good for other people! :)

  14. Liam Whelan Says:

I was on a farm last nigth and managed to do a free unwither for the neighbour.

I know it is just a way of getting people who have stopped playing back in the same was as they suggest sending someone a gift when you visit their farm but it is the first time I saw that terminology used.

You know… it was lucky for him too… it was a full field of artichokes!

  15. Leslie Bair Says:

No. I will not purchase. The cost is much too high.
I had 33 in my gift box last night.
No mastery signs. All were gifts
I don’t care for the Villa either. Too sterile
I’m full in storage and unless I can find a place to put something it gets deleted.
Something has to be done. Those who buy FV$ buy things they want, but if they have nowhere to put things they will stop buying. My chickens are way out of control and take up too much space. Bring out the chicken coops now.

  16. JaKay Says:

I can’t understand why it needs to wither anyway? If I don’t harvest, I don’t get my coins or XP. If I plant/harvest more often I get more coins and I level up faster.. Isn’t that enough? It would be better if the crops just stayed in “ready to harvest” til I got the time to do it…

  17. Claudine Cochran Says:

I think it is a crock that the free unwither your neighbors crops only pops up if their crops have been withered for 30 days or more. If they haven’t done anything on their farm in 30 + days they don’t care if their crops withered or not. It makes more sense for neighbors to be able to unwither crops for free when visiting a farm that has only been withered maybe from 48 hours up to a week after they have withered.

Only getting to unwither someones crops if they have been withered 30 or more days is catering to the people who aren’t serious Farmville farmers. Uh…HELLO…..that’s like handing out free furniture polish to people who don’t care if there is an inch of dust on their furniture.

What?…..Zynga think they will make or save more money by dingin’ the serious folks who miss a harvest here and there? Most serious farmers who have crops that wither won’t spend their hard to come by FV cash on 3 uses of unwither…they will just cut there loss and re-plant.

  18. Matt Tallant Says:

Claudine hit the nail right on the head! i wonder if zynga is watching this forum and might actually make some improvements to their oputrageous prices and less than intelligent schema for get people back instead of keeping the loyal players they have? i quess we will just have to wait and see!

  19. Blake Says:

If you’re a regular player who harvests their crops, you are rewarded with quick progress in levels and ribbons. You also likely get more of the rewards, etc. from your friends’ feeds, and limited items that those casual players might miss.

Zynga’s business goal isn’t to keep people happy. It’s to encourage people to spend money. That means they need to get you hooked with the rewards which will eventually run out, and then you’ll want to spend money on other items. And they need as many people playing as possible, meaning they need rewards to entice people into the game, not to keep regular players.

The free unwithers are a perfect example of this. Sure, a regular player would be happy with free unwithers, but they’re not likely to leave the game because of it. A person who has left an entire farm for a month, however, may go back and feel like they’ve wasted time, and it’s too much trouble to plow and replant everything. If someone has magically brought all their crops back, however, it means their time wasted wasted, and that someone is encouraging them to keep playing, and they might get back to being a regular player… eventually leading to paying money.

It’s a beautiful system, which rewards new players, regular players, and long-time players who do have options to purchase unique items. I encourage you to look at why you play the game. If you’re enjoying it, why complain that everything isn’t exactly the way you want it to be… for free? Why not accept the benefits you do get… for free?

If an item is too much money, don’t buy it. That’s what the marketplace is all about. If it’s really worthless, people won’t spend money on it, and the price will come down. If it stays the price it is, you can assume that plenty of other people think it IS worth the price.

  20. Tanya Says:

I totally agree with this one and a few others…………………………………………………..

Yea, What about us dedicated farmers??????????????????

  21. djf863000 Says:

I can’t find it in the market. Where is it now?

  22. Mary Hauser Says:

Why not put in the factory that you build things and let us build unwithers? I have been trying to find out how to get unwithers but at this time I can not find any. Some of us get to busy and don’t get our crops harvest in time and loose all of the coins that we have paid to plant them. It really would be nice to be able to build some. Thank you!
