I totally agree with this one and a few others...........................................................

Yea, What about us dedicated farmers??????????????????

I think it is a crock that the free unwither your neighbors crops only pops up if their crops have been withered for 30 days or more. If they haven’t done anything on their farm in 30 + days they don’t care if their crops withered or not. It makes more sense for neighbors to be able to unwither crops for free when visiting a farm that has only been withered maybe from 48 hours up to a week after they have withered.

Only getting to unwither someones crops if they have been withered 30 or more days is catering to the people who aren’t serious Farmville farmers. Uh…HELLO…..that’s like handing out free furniture polish to people who don’t care if there is an inch of dust on their furniture.

What?…..Zynga think they will make or save more money by dingin’ the serious folks who miss a harvest here and there? Most serious farmers who have crops that wither won’t spend their hard to come by FV cash on 3 uses of unwither…they will just cut there loss and re-plant.

If you're a regular player who harvests their crops, you are rewarded with quick progress in levels and ribbons. You also likely get more of the rewards, etc. from your friends' feeds, and limited items that those casual players might miss.

Zynga's business goal isn't to keep people happy. It's to encourage people to spend money. That means they need to get you hooked with the rewards which will eventually run out, and then you'll want to spend money on other items. And they need as many people playing as possible, meaning they need rewards to entice people into the game, not to keep regular players.

The free unwithers are a perfect example of this. Sure, a regular player would be happy with free unwithers, but they're not likely to leave the game because of it. A person who has left an entire farm for a month, however, may go back and feel like they've wasted time, and it's too much trouble to plow and replant everything. If someone has magically brought all their crops back, however, it means their time wasted wasted, and that someone is encouraging them to keep playing, and they might get back to being a regular player... eventually leading to paying money.

It's a beautiful system, which rewards new players, regular players, and long-time players who do have options to purchase unique items. I encourage you to look at why you play the game. If you're enjoying it, why complain that everything isn't exactly the way you want it to be... for free? Why not accept the benefits you do get... for free?

If an item is too much money, don't buy it. That's what the marketplace is all about. If it's really worthless, people won't spend money on it, and the price will come down. If it stays the price it is, you can assume that plenty of other people think it IS worth the price.

I can't understand why it needs to wither anyway? If I don't harvest, I don't get my coins or XP. If I plant/harvest more often I get more coins and I level up faster.. Isn't that enough? It would be better if the crops just stayed in "ready to harvest" til I got the time to do it...

No. I will not purchase. The cost is much too high.
I had 33 in my gift box last night.
No mastery signs. All were gifts
I don't care for the Villa either. Too sterile
I'm full in storage and unless I can find a place to put something it gets deleted.
Something has to be done. Those who buy FV$ buy things they want, but if they have nowhere to put things they will stop buying. My chickens are way out of control and take up too much space. Bring out the chicken coops now.

I was on a farm last nigth and managed to do a free unwither for the neighbour.

I know it is just a way of getting people who have stopped playing back in the same was as they suggest sending someone a gift when you visit their farm but it is the first time I saw that terminology used.

You know... it was lucky for him too... it was a full field of artichokes!
