Farmville Yellow Maple Tree & Maple Tree
Farmville introduces 2 new trees as part of their Thanksgiving themed special items.
The Yellow Maple Tree costs 300 coins and the regular Maple tree costs 5 FV$. They look pretty similar except the FV$ only Maple tree is rendered a different color (more orange) so maybe it will yield more coins when harvested?
Both are ready to harvest in 2 days and can be purchased in the Farmville Market for the next 20 days.

It would really be nice to get everything,,, but since the stupid game gives me “Out of sync” on the loading screen i can’t get anything done, i hate when they do that… i have to harvest my sunflowers

I’m unable to accept the giftable maple tree. Friends keep sending it to me, but each time i get an error and it disappear. It’s not fare…and i don’t have no FV$ left.

I have been gifted all of the “new” gifts today. Flag, trees, hay stacks etc. All have been lost except for the haystack. What’s up with that??

When it gives you the error, click the back button once, so that it goes back to where you’d see the page where it asks you have any more gifts. You most probably won’t see that page anyway, but it’ll register that you’re receiving a gift and toss it in your gift box. That’s what I did when I got the error, and my trees are sitting in my gift box right now. Hope you get more gifts to cover up the losses!
Or maybe put off accepting your gift requests for several hours, and I’m sure these problems will be fixed by the programmers.

I just replaced all of my Lime Trees for Yellow Maples, and I’m trying to get my friend list of 13 get a little more active in gifting so I can get more Red Maples. The Red Maples are better then every other tree in FV aside from the Acai, which also costs 22 more FV Cash for only an 8 coin profit over Red Maple. I suggest you don’t BUY the Red Maple, as it can be gifted to you at level 1. Love the trees, looks just like my backyard! (British Columbia, Canada)

Huge difference between Jonty & Jeffery – Jonty is right.
Red Maple and Yellow Maple are both 2 days and 25 coins, whereas Maple is 2 days at 150 coins, but it’s 5FV. If you can either afford or get the Maple it’s something to hold onto.

I bought a few yellow maples when they came out, but I mostly got reds as gifts…I didn’t bother buying the good maples, since I didn’t want to use my Farm Cash…and now that the Ornament Trees are out, they are identical to the good maples, but cost coins instead of cash. BONUS

My yellow and red maple trees are still on my farm. But the (orange) one I bought with Farmcash last year just disappeared! I checked the space it was and it seems like virtually it’s still there. I can not place another object on the same spot where I once planted my maple tree… Hopefully we’ll get it back. I loved my maple tree!

My maple trees disappeared a month ago, but They are all back today, I still don’t know why.
