FarmVille Quest Changes “Coming Soon” with Difficulty Levels!

FarmVille Freak
FarmVille will be making some changes to upcoming FarmVille quests by adding Difficulty Levels!
In our recent post of a unreleased Summer Harvest Quest guide on FarmVille Freak, you’ll see some confusing numbers on the requirements and rewards of this still unreleased quest and that’s because FarmVille will soon be adding difficulty levels to quests!
You will be able to choose which level of difficulty for quests from three different levels:
- Easy
- Normal
- Hard
And what of quest rewards? Depending on which level you complete will reflect what quest rewards you receive. It’s safe to say that the harder level quest you complete, the better rewards you will receive. This means that there will be more prizes for harder quests completed and more XP and Farm Coin rewards than going the easy route.
How do you feel about these projected quest FarmVille Quest changes, FarmVille Freaks? Tell us what you think in the comments below and vote in our FarmVille Freak Poll!

This’ll be interesting. I personally like trees the most, so I’ll just go for the levels/quests with trees. I don’t mind quests, but having 4 at once (like now including the early Jade Falls one) is getting insane. I feel sorry for new players! Where would you even START?! I’ve known a couple of people that have tried to play and have gotten really frustrated and quit.

NO! It’s confusing enough the way it is…

Seems a lot like polishing a turd to me.

Some of the current ones are HARD to accomplish already.

Well looks like I’m giving up quests then.
I can hardly do them now, and if they add in difficulity levels with “Hard” and “normal” having the decent prizes, it just won’t be worth the effort for me to do them. I know I won’t be able to, unless they do something about 1. the amount of requests I have to post and 2. the blasted time limits!

The prize’s for the HARD level are not impressive at all. I will stay with the NORMAL.

Quest are already beginning to get next to impossible with the screwed up bushel counts. I can harvest 250 plots and get 2 bushels. I don’t have enough bushels to craft items to convert to fuel OR to do Quests.
The corporate leadership at Zynga is imcompetent and the Board of Directors and Stockholders should be after their heads.
For so many serious bugs to not get fixed is insane. And they are impacting our ability to do Quests.

Sounds kind of interesting. I will have to make a judgment call per each quest. If the needs from neighbors is less for the lower levels it would help some of my neighbors who just don’t get enough clicks.

I like the rewards on Hawaii quests but havent done any, with all the other quests and no space on that farm and no one wants to help give building stuff. Decided not to do it..and now with another farm on its way I’m about to say bye to it all.

I think the quests are hard enough, even when I know what crops are coming up & plant them in advance, I am often finishing hours before the quest ends or not finishing at all. NOT FUN. Also besides the darts, turbo boosts & decorations, many of the quest items can be acquired through playing the game regularly. the animals often come up in mystery babies and the trees in mystery seeds. They’re not really even exclusive so what’s the point? I’ve even seen people get animals (horses aside) that were from mystery games in mystery babies.

from me not more quests ,why not choose 4 not quests and set up the questicon one butter that can remove the icon from the game, from the games that love quests good lucky

NO! NO! NO! NO!!
The quests are frustrating enough without levels.
Instead of annoying players with updates like this, why don’t they fix the many, many, many bugs that are making playing this game so difficult?

Yea, What Daniele Said THEY ARE TOO HARD ALREADY!!!
Especially Jade Falls :/

Wait… Angelique… you get animals from mystery babies that you don’t already own???? If the Leaderboards has shown me ANYTHING it’s that Zynga refuses to give me ANY animal that i do not already own…. no matter HOW many babies i hatch from my neighbors’ mystery animals!

This will be so frustrating!!! Sometimes, often, more times than not actually….we need help from our friends to complete a quest. If everyone is going after a different prize it’ll be harder than ever to get that help. Also, what if you go after the most difficult and fall short? Does that mean you miss out entirely and don’t even get the medium difficulty prize? Way to make the most frustrating part of the game MORE FRUSTRATING, Zynga!!!!!!!!

It will be way harder to get the quest done because everyone will be on a different quest!

The only thing I absolutely HATE about doing quests is that they require the help of neighbors. What exactly is the point of receiving an unwither reward in a quest if I have to use it on the next segment of the quest because my crops died waiting for my neighbors to give me what I need to complete it?
This has happened many times for several reasons such as Facebook newsfeeds being changed so posts are not easily seen or they disappear altogether because of a glitch, or they are simply cluttered with so much other stuff the requests are not noticed. Also, with more and more players quitting the game because it is becoming so much more time-intensive with additional farms and quests, you never know when your neighbors will be there to help.
ANYTIME I SPEND WAITING FOR A NEIGHBOR TO FULFILL A REQUEST IS A WASTE OF MY TIME UNTIL THAT REQUEST IS FULFILLED.
Those of us who do want to play and do the quests should be able to do so more independently.
I think we can all admit that Farmville has come a long way from the day when it was a simple game of neighbor-helping-neighbor by fertilizing each other’s crops and that the requirement to get help from neighbors on something so much more intense like the quests should not be necessary.

I am tired of the quest and so many farms. I am thinking of not playing FarmVille .

Really?? You’ll put up a comment like “Seems a lot like polishing a turd to me.”, but not the one I submitted that might have actually expressed an opinion shared by many. May I inquire as to why?

Well, from what I have seen:
1. Difficulty dialog doesnt always popup, just like the repeat dialog.
2. Introducing difficulty levels means the quest is not repeatable anymore.
I hate it that way, I want the quests to be repeatable. Even if I get the double of rewards from hard difficulty, it wont compensate 10-14 sets of rewards I can get from repeating.
And if in addition I wont always be able to choose the difficulty level because of a bug in the dialog… that reduces it to a simple non-repeatable quest.

I want to play the hard levels for the prizes
