What do you think should be the next FarmVille Seeder vehicle? FarmVille is polling farmers on what they think the next seeder should be. The vehicle with the most votes will be the next FarmVille Seeder.
According to the official poll, you can chose from the following:
- Firetruck
- Semi Truck
- Pickup Truck
- Trolley
- Minivan
- Dump Truck
- Cement Truck
From FarmVille Community Manager, Grimwell:
“Howdy farmers!
The FarmVille team is looking at options on what our next seeder should look like and would like your assistance!
Please take a look at the following options for new seeders and vote for your favorite. The vehicle that gets the most votes will win and find it’s way into the game soon!” Source: Official FarmVille Forum

Posted on July 8th, 2010 at 4:37 pm
I’d agree with the pics, but I’d go with the firetruck- can see spraying the seeds out…
Posted on July 8th, 2010 at 4:42 pm
What will is do?
Will it seed more than the Hot Rod?
Doesn’t matter…I can seed my entire farm at one time on my iPod touch!!!!
I voted pick up truck
Posted on July 8th, 2010 at 4:42 pm
Should read ” what will this do?”
Posted on July 8th, 2010 at 5:44 pm
I would like a fire truck, I already have the school bus plower and a fire truck would make my farm look like a town. (theme I am going for)
Posted on July 8th, 2010 at 5:53 pm
i want the firetruck. it would look awesome..
or a ford pick-up truck, a blue one
Posted on July 8th, 2010 at 6:08 pm
It should be a solar powered pick up truck.
Posted on July 8th, 2010 at 6:08 pm
old chevy truck
Posted on July 8th, 2010 at 6:08 pm
Firetruck! And make it do 20 plots at a time!
Posted on July 8th, 2010 at 6:08 pm
every farm must have a pickup truck!
Posted on July 8th, 2010 at 6:09 pm
ian YOU GAYLORD
Posted on July 8th, 2010 at 6:09 pm
How about a seeder that fixes all of the out of sync messages ive been getting and making my giftbox stay at 200 items since i cant take my collectables out of there
Posted on July 8th, 2010 at 6:09 pm
Pick up. Something that doesn’t take up much space!!
Posted on July 8th, 2010 at 6:10 pm
why are they not keeping it to “farm” things….we own farms not cities etc.WTF has a fire engine got to do with a farm ??????????????? unless ya barns on fire pmsl
Posted on July 8th, 2010 at 6:10 pm
What is a farm.. without a pickem up truck ?? tell me… never saw a farm without one ! and I live out in the boonies all my life.. I KNOW ~!… who the he** has a fire truck on the farm ? thats just stupid !
Posted on July 8th, 2010 at 6:11 pm
F-150 Ford 4×4 Red or Blk Pickup !!!! Rocks
Posted on July 8th, 2010 at 6:12 pm
I think they should fix all the broken issues on the app before introducing ANY new things. I am on 14 days of no experience points for harvesting crops and 4 days of no experience points for harvesting trees, animals, barns & coop. I am still missing & gaining back stuff all day long. FIX it first….add more stuff later. But I did vote for the pick up
Posted on July 8th, 2010 at 6:12 pm
Why not a garbage truck, then it can haul away all the whithered crops. LOL I think the trolly or the firetruck would be nice
Posted on July 8th, 2010 at 6:13 pm
Give me a semi and I’ll call it rubber duck and start a convoy!
Posted on July 8th, 2010 at 6:14 pm
I just hope it’s going to be a 9 plot machine! (voted pickup)
Posted on July 8th, 2010 at 6:15 pm
Anyone knows if the wild mustang is still available? One of my friends never get it because of an out of sync error – even though she have had enough help from friends. And she’s a big horsefreak so can anyone confirm if it’s still available? Thanks!
Posted on July 8th, 2010 at 6:18 pm
I kind of wish they would turn the useless Mail truck from the co-op job into the seeder. I have some friends that believe that there had to be a reason for the mail truck. I myself have always and still do believe it is just a useless decoration.
Posted on July 8th, 2010 at 6:30 pm
black pick up after they get their crap together and fix the glitches
Posted on July 8th, 2010 at 6:30 pm
Pick-up truck. What farmer wouldn’t have one?
Posted on July 8th, 2010 at 6:32 pm
I voted for a pick up. but would really , really like to be able to expand my barns, i have 3 barns and 5 dairy barns that need expanding and all i can get is out of sync. why add more things when they can’t even fix what things they need to fix now ? i email them and all i ever get is they are working on it. well if not fix soon i will probably just leave the game. i’ve put way to much time and money that needed to go else where for all this WE ARE WORKING ON IT ! have a blessed day !
Posted on July 8th, 2010 at 6:36 pm
it’s gotta be an old truck..when you drive by a farm…what do u see? an old rundown truck…it would be awsome…thanxs for the land….!!!
Posted on July 8th, 2010 at 6:49 pm
pickup truck and put some kids in the back to throw out the seeds. LOL
a pick up truck would go with farming, but a firetruck. LOL.. semi, well that could help load those crops to take to the market… but would take up to much room..
Posted on July 8th, 2010 at 6:50 pm
Ah yes, but what about those of us out-there who are REAL RETRO buffs? I’d like a team of Percherons, please, one grey, one black, pulling a seeder. You can look in Small Farmers Stock Journal for pictures of what this should look like. :0)
If not, then the pickup truck….a 3/4 ton, 1968 Ford Ranger, king cab, long box. And yes…such a critter does exist. It belongs to my husband, and just one of the working pickups on our real farm (my hubbies favorite truck).
Nothin like doing farm work with a good team of real horses though.
~Garnet
Permaculture homesteading/farming over 20 years
8 working horses on our farm
3 pickups, 2 semi trucks, 2 John Deere (1938 & 1950), 1 Oliver, 1 bulldozer,1 schoolbus (if you see a school bus load of goats, wave at us!), and a whole lot of other vehicles (all running, by the way!).
Posted on July 8th, 2010 at 6:52 pm
vote for the trolley come on those things are epic and seriously I think the pickup is bullshivick
Posted on July 8th, 2010 at 6:53 pm
I don’t think you should have to add neighbors to enlarge your farm. . I live in the country and don’t want a lot of neighbors. than you end up being forgotten and replaced by new ones. But I do agree on the pick up and how about making it purple and have it plant more than just a few squares at a time and make it so it doesn’t take up a lot of space,
Posted on July 8th, 2010 at 7:12 pm
i can’t vote without a picture, and not knowing what they all do..
Posted on July 8th, 2010 at 7:14 pm
@ sallyanne, i know you were probably kidding, but that is actually a REALLY GOOD idea
Posted on July 8th, 2010 at 7:15 pm
I’m still waiting for a machine shed (thats a building that stores farm implements for you city-slickers) to store all the ones I already have. If you want one of each vehicle available it takes up quite a bit of space. I guess they could also allow us to store vehicles in the barns but thats not as cool.

How boring is a Pick up Truck ? Fire Truck!
Posted on July 8th, 2010 at 7:28 pm
I’m lining the bed of my pick-up with astro turf…chicks really dig it.
Posted on July 8th, 2010 at 7:34 pm
I personally would like the semi, only because my hubby drives a log truck and I have a lumber yard on my farm(thanks to all my wonderful neighbors who sent the tons of long logs!) but I agree that a pick up is the most realistic for a farm. As long as it seeds 9(or more!) plots, I’ll be happy! @Garnet #24
Now a schoolbus full of goats has gotta be quite the sight! I bet y’all get all kinds of “kid” jokes!
Posted on July 8th, 2010 at 8:03 pm
I already have a seeder that looks like, are you ready for this?, a seeder! I don’t want the farm impliments to look like other things. I wish the school bus plow didn’t look like a school bus because it’s silly.
Posted on July 8th, 2010 at 8:14 pm
Kara- You do know that you are the only one that see’s it plowing right?
Posted on July 8th, 2010 at 8:26 pm
I’d also choose the 1950 Red Ford Pick-up so sexy and masculine! makes 20 plots at a time!! wowoooh!
Posted on July 8th, 2010 at 8:31 pm
I was reading this list and immediately thought “wait, what will the fire truck look like… what will… where is the link for the pictures?”
Sad, but true. Can’t decide without some form of sketch of what they would look like beforehand.
Posted on July 8th, 2010 at 8:32 pm
PICKUP! I drive one. =) <3 them
Posted on July 8th, 2010 at 9:03 pm
um, how about we just keep the seeders we have and forget about it? i never did like the school bus tractor. seriously…wtf.
Posted on July 8th, 2010 at 9:35 pm
Useless mail truck, the school bus is kinda neat beside the school, but a farm with a fire truck? or a cement truck? its bad enuff we had surfboards geeez, I voted pickup. Happy Farming.
Posted on July 8th, 2010 at 9:57 pm
How about a low rider seeder?
Posted on July 8th, 2010 at 11:04 pm
Is anyone’s screen getting cut off on both side????
Posted on July 8th, 2010 at 11:31 pm
seriously..a cement truck? it’s supposed to be a farm. we need a pick-up.
Posted on July 9th, 2010 at 1:06 am
i like what jim, #4, said….if anything…the rest aren’t very farm-y…
Posted on July 9th, 2010 at 6:32 am
I want a Zamboni
Posted on July 9th, 2010 at 11:39 am
None of these choices make any sense. I agree with posters who suggest genuine farm vehicles and machinery. If you want to get loopy, forget the garbage truck (?) and go for a fairy waving a magic wand. Or Santa Claus.
Posted on July 9th, 2010 at 11:54 am
its not there, it needs to move with the times and be solar powered, no more fuel !!!
Posted on July 9th, 2010 at 12:34 pm
umm not sure which to vote one…I’d not sure without pics either :/ ohhh maybe there will be new co-ops also, that would be great!!
Posted on July 9th, 2010 at 12:40 pm
i think that a pick is more apropriate…
Posted on July 9th, 2010 at 4:53 pm
Personally I think ATV’S would be perfect also, Every farm I know of has A couple of them, And maybe optional lawn carts to put behind them. They are small & compact but very useful around the farm. Considering the amount of space we have I know I would buy A couple of them.
Posted on July 9th, 2010 at 5:14 pm
A 1939 Ford pick up truck!
LOL #55.
Posted on July 10th, 2010 at 8:18 pm
I honestly don’t like any of the choices offered …Why not something nifty like a hovercraft? Give your imaginations free range and see if you can come up with something less predictable than semi’s & dump trucks…
Also, given the large proportion of female players, why not a vehicle set that’s actually pretty for a change? Something more along the lines of the flower bedecked horse drawn carriage…
Posted on July 10th, 2010 at 10:35 pm
I would like to have an older bubble fender step-side truck on my farm. Would not care which model it is.
Posted on July 10th, 2010 at 11:58 pm
How about a 1947 Chevrolet Loadmaster Dumptruck!..them aree really cool
Posted on July 11th, 2010 at 10:07 am
C’mon people….. Got to be a pick up truck. It’s what’s missing from out farms. 50’s red Ford pick up with a wooden bed and a lot of rust!!!
Posted on July 28th, 2010 at 8:56 pm
@ Crowe,
As far as I can tell hovercrafts are not a normal staple of farms. Besides, we already know what the new seeder will be before this poll even came out. So where is the fun in that?
