FarmVille Freak Ghost Catcher Master Quest Guide

This series of FarmVille “Ghost Catcher” quests arrived on Thursday, September 27th 2012. Use this guide to plan ahead and speed through your questing. Before you decide if you want to work on these quests, check out the quest rewards below and be sure to share this article with all your farmin’ friends!
On Licorice: Quest 1 requires you to harvest Licorice. Licorice Plant is a new crop that can now be found in the FarmVille Market. Try keyword searching “LICORICE” in the FarmVille Market.

FarmVille Ghost Catcher Quest 1: Catching Ghosts
Requirements: Get 6 Ghost Nets, Harvest 50 Licorice Plant & Harvest Unicorn Island Twice
Rewards: Sidekick Pig, 125 XP, & 2,500 Coins
FarmVille Ghost Catcher Quest 2: Reading Time
Requirements: Get 7 Ghost Manuals, Harvest 75 Wheat & Harvest Pig Sidekick Twice
Rewards: Ectoplasm Lake, 150 XP, & 3,000 Coins
FarmVille Ghost Catcher Quest 3: Catching Ghosts… Again…
Requirements: Get 8 Ghost Traps, Harvest 100 Licorice & Craft Strawberry Licorice Cupcake Twice
Rewards: Phantom Oak Tree, 175 XP, & 3,500 Coins
FarmVille Ghost Catcher Quest 4: Gearing Up!
Requirements: Get 9 Cardboard, Harvest 125 Rye & Harvest Phantom Oak Tree Twice
Rewards: Unwither, 225 XP, & 4,000 Coins

Requirements: Get 9 Ducttape, Harvest 150 Licorice & Craft Black Licorice Twice
Rewards: Ghost Mobile Seeder, 200 XP, & 4,500 Coins

Requirements: Get 9 Ghost Vision Goggles, Harvest 150 Pppermint & Master Pig Sidekick to One Star
Rewards: Mystery Game Dart, 275 XP & 5,000 Coins

Requirements: Get 10 Old Blankets, Harvest 150 Licorice & Craft Root Beer Twice
Rewards: Ghost Beagle, 250 XP & 5,500 Coins
FarmVille Ghost Catcher Quest 8: Ghost Incoming
Requirements: Get 11 Jars of Slime, Harvest 150 Pineapples & Harvest Ghost Beagle Twice
Rewards: Book of XP, 300 XP,& 6,000 Coins
FarmVille Ghost Catcher Quest 9: Ghostly Showdown
Requirements: Get 12 Ghost Marshmallows, Harvest 200 Licorice & Master Licorice to 1-Star

I have to go with JS – there is no licorice to be found in my seeds nor a place to craft the cupcakes – all the stuff in HH are more goulish than candyish

Doubt it’s for the halloween farm as we already have a mission going for that. Anyone have any other educated guesses where we might get the licorice and craft the stuff? =/

#1 is wrong, you have to harvest unicorn island twice.

The crafting is not on the Halloween farm. The licorice crop is available but it’s a 1 DAY crop. You need a total of 650 (plua a little extra in case you count wrong), so PLANT NOW!

The licorice just came available to plant on my home farm (I have been checking all day…) when this new quest came available, around 2PM EST 9/27. And yes, it requires unicorn island to be harvested twice. Thanks for the tips and good luck

ROOT BEER is in the Winery, BLACK LICORICE and STRAWBERRY LICORICE is in the Baakery. You need at least a level 2 in both!

The Licorice crop is now available it is actually called Licorice Plant in the FarmVille Market. Try keyword searching “LICORICE”.

Ok i have found two of the recipes that we need to make however still can’t find the black licorice to craft. We make the cupcake in the bakery. The root beer is made in the winery. If u don’t have the winery already u will need to get it to a one star first. The bakery lets u make the cupcake without upgrading. Hope this helps. Happy farming

I have a Spa only. I have the Licorice crop but where do I craft the Strawberry Licorice Cupcake, Black Licorice and Root Beer?

Ok, so this morning I they finally gave us the Licorice Plant, but I’ve checked every crafting building I own on every where.. Where do we craft the Strawberry Licorice Cupcakes and Black Licorice???

Please slow down on the quests. This is too much. I’m doing 3 at a time and still not finishing any of them. I appreciate that Zynga is providing new content for us, but come on. Some people actually like having nothing to do in this game other than grow their crops and relax. Still, I do enjoy the game and will continue to play it either way..

okay, so I was actually really looking forward to this and now they are forcing me to build stupid unicorn island if I want the spooky stuff! >=( why aren’t they using things on the new farm, like, build the storage cellar to 50 shovels etc…

I have never built the winery. Why do I have to have one now? This is ridiculous. I can’t build one fast enough to complete the quest. just blows
