FarmVille Freak Jade Falls Chapter 2 (Regular Access Start) Quest Master Guide

This series of quests kicks off FarmVille Jade Falls regular access storyline on June 11, 2012. The early access questline has ended, so all players should see this quest line starting today in Jade Falls. Not to confuse it with the prior Early Access quest line (Chapter 1) we are referring to it as Chapter 2.
Use this FarmVille Freak Guide to speed through your questing by planning accordingly. Remember to be a good neighbor and share it with your farmin’ friends! Requirements: Get 6 Tabi Shoes, Harvest 10 Azuki & Improve Mountain Palace to Stage 1
Rewards: Geisha Ewe, 5 Zen Points, Kimono Black, Kimono Pink & 425 Jade Currency
FarmVille Jade Falls Chapter 2 Quest 2: Many Jars
Requirements: Get 8 Water Jars, Harvest 8 Nori & Harvest Geisha Ewe 2 Times
Rewards: Dove Tree, 10 Zen Points & 850 Jade Currency
FarmVille Jade Falls Chapter 2 Quest 3: Spoon
Requirements: Get 8 Tea Spoons, Harvest 10 Bamboos & Make 2 Hamachi Maki
Rewards: Tori Gate, 15 Zen Points & 1,275 Jade Currency
FarmVille Jade Falls Chapter 2 Quest 4: With Certain Tea
Requirements: Get 8 Complete 1 Jade Paddock, Harvest 8 Sticky Rice & Make 2 Pho Soup

Requirements: Get 10 Tea Bowls, Master Geisha Ewe to 1-Star & Make 2 Milk Tea

On Quest 3 the one of the rewards says Tori Gate, but the image is of the Red Crowned Crane.

What’s with the lack of a Jade Zoo, Jade Wildlife Habitat, and Jade Livestock Pen? At first I thought the Jade Habitat was the Wildlife Habitat, but it’s like WW, there’s a separate, unique pen specifically for JF animals. Did Zynga outpace their own artists? I got early access, and it wasn’t until 3 days later that the Jade Pasture appeared in the market. I guess they’re too busy frantically deleting the Flea Market code and the Fast Farm Travel code to notice.

I have not gotten to step 3 yet, but I did the pre-release quests and the rewards had the right names, but all the pictures were of gongs. Weird. I guess Zynga’s marketing department and art departments are on two different planets.

I’m just looking at the quest guide now. Confused with Stage 5: Uncover 1 Small Bamboo Thicket. I have small and medium Bamboo around my farm. But then there are also Bamboo Treasures…of which I only have large and medium on my farm, no small. I’d have to expand to the 16×16 Jade Falls farm to get the next small Bamboo Treasure, as I have already uncovered the first one on the 12×12 farm during early release. Any thoughts…?

I imagine that the bamboo they are referring to in part 3 is the jade bamboo and not regular bamboo right

So the Ewe will have to be harvested and mastered on Jade Falls exclusively? or can I do that on the Livestocks I already have built on my other farms?…

…so many good questions…not any good answers…did anyone notice that you can buy land expansions for the first few with jade coins..but after that it;s only for farm cash?? what’s up with that?

So does the Geisha Ewe have to be harvested and mastered on Jade Falls exclusively? It does appear in the Livestock pens that I already have built on my other farms. Can it be harvested in the “old” Livestock pens?

Went to redo this quest and it put me back on the introductory quest when you first get into Jade. Another FV mess up!

Someone goofed on this one. It’s NOT Bamboo but JADE BAMBOO that ‘s needed for this quest. I did the bamboo ahead of time thinking I’d get a jump on it, yeah well, didn’t work out that way. Looks as though someone was in a real hurry to type up the Quest guidelines on this one, didn’t bother to cross their T’s and dot their i’s.

I guess I messed up then by putting the geisha sheep on Jade Falls? I can’t build a livestock pen, and there’s no way I can finish this in time without then. Should have put it on another farm and I’d have been done in an hour, LOL. Oh well …
And I would’ve liked to have had that gerbil. Doesn’t look like it’s going to happen, and I’m not spending much farm cash on anything since I refuse to buy it.

Unfortunately, I’m still on step two and will not be able to finish (or even get to step 3). I made the mistake of placing the ewe on the farm. It cannot be moved to another farm where it can be harvested. It’s at 44% after two days!!! There are 5 days to go for the whole quest. Nope, this one is a wash. ;(
I battle with thoughts of giving up on FV altogether — just too frustrating at times.

So very angry about the lack of a livestock pen. More evidence that this game is becoming geared to those who fork out real money for FarmCash! Place the Geisha Ewe on your Jade Falls farm, but wait 10 days to harvest it twice. Rip off! How can you possible finish this quest without using FarmCash. I prefer to keep my critters on the farm in which they are intended. I will not pay for a second one, nor will I pay to grow it instantly. I may be giving up Jade Falls altogether very soon! Who needs a sixth farm anyway?!?

The geisha ewe can be placed in the Jade habitat and harvested in 1 day but of course no one tells us this.

so how does a person get past harvesting the geisha ewe twice when it takes days to harvest just once? I just saw the Jade habitat now so dont know if I will have time to reach all the quests. And I wont pay money for the game.

You can harvest the sheep on other farms. Also, if you’ve already uncovered the Small Bamboo Fortune, it will check it off for you. These quests aren’t that hard, idk why everyone is complaining.

How does this work? I completed the quest but was never asked which level I wanted to try for. It just gave me the objectives that I needed like normal. I actually don’t like easy, medium or hard. Just tell me what I have to do and I will either make it or not plain and simple.

Couldn’t finish all of them, for the last week I don’t receive any of the quest requests that friends sent me. I have been stuck needing 3 spoons fpr the Jade quest, 1 squash bowl and 3 plane tickets, father’s day quests won’t get completed either by the looks of it.

i got as far a s quest 5 in chapter 2 and was making the milk teas to have ready for the next quest 6…and i never got a quest 6 to do..i got the little chinese boy back that had a different quest which i’m doing at the moment…what happened to my quest six ? this one doesn’t say what quest # it is..just have to get boat plans and jade bamboos and get to level 2 on the mountain palace which i did a while ago…whats the deal?

…and i also just realized that after i finished my quest 5..i never got the pyeon jong as a prize that i was supposed to…nor do i think i got the currency or points…wth fv..whats going on w/ this…??

I am not happy (at all) that you have to use farm cash to purchase land increase in Jade Falls when you get to a certain level. Some of us live on Social Security and don’t have loose change laying around all the time. I love Farmville but the Lands are getting greedier it seems all the time. Do I keep playing or NOT!! I do use FC once in a while but this is getting sad.
