FarmVille Extra Presents! What should I do with them?
For those of you that have already obtained the maximum of 60 Presents for your Holiday Tree, you may be wondering what you should do with the extra Presents waiting for you to accept.
Since we do not know what the Presents will be and we have the time window of December 24th- January 7th to open them, just hold on to your extra Presents!
Then, on December 24th you can open your Presents and re-load your Holiday Tree with the extra Presents. Remember that your Giftbox can only hold 30 items.
Hopefully, this will be possible and if not it’s at least worth trying.

the presents probably won’t be all great…since zynga is cheap and all the cool stuffs can only be purchased with fv cash

so any ideas of what happens to the tree? will it just go away when empty or will we be able to store it after we empty it or will we have to let it sit on our farm all year if we want to keep it????

I am guessing fuel as well, and maybe some exclusive gifts.. but I have a feeling we are going to get doubles, and triples, and tons of the same stuff. Unless they are really gonna give us 60 different things?!
It would be cool if the different gifts and different amounts of farm cash in it!! That would be a miracle.

I already knew about this, before you even posted it. I kinda give out the idea, but instead it is ended up spreading everywhere. Well if it is not possible that we could do that, then farmville could’ve disabled it because of spreading out the stuffs and idea, which make other farmville player complain and all so yeah. best to keep everything secret and not spread everywhere on the net LOL (but here :p )

My friend rudy had a thing pop up dat said would u like to open one of your christmas gifts his responce yes and out of a blue presnt he got a tree swing like the one u got in the first mystery box

currently, my giftbox is holding 25/30 presents… (i need to leave some space open to accept new gifts/adopt animals/etc.) so i cant really go and accept anymore presents from my FV requests..
but yesterday i had 80-some presents in my FV requests, and today i have around 70… so either way im still losing presents and its driving me nuts!!! i wish FV just gave us more trees…. or made extra trees purchasable!!

I believe that whatever is in these boxes is going to repeated over and over if you have the 60 gifts in your box. There’s no way they’ll actually give us 60 different items. I believe they’re going to be junk and we’ll all be really frustrated for sending gifts to people everyday and having to click the “accept” button 70 times everyday.

They might be simple gifts of coins and XP which would be good enough I suppose, especially at lower levels, however I’d like gifts of FV$. That would make collecting 100s of presents worthwhile even if it was just 1 or 2 at a time.

Also, wouldn’t it be nice if you could sell items you bought with FV$ for FV$. Even if it was only 1/10 of what you paid for it.

I asked Zenga and they confirmed, leave the extras in your request list and you can reload the tree once you open the gifts. Hope it is worth it.

Sadly, I have a feeling the blue present might be something like a hay bale and then ranging to a little bit better items in the brown presents because pretty things can come in ugly packages. Its pretty much just everyone’s guess though. Maybe each color present (blue, pink, green, red, brown) will have a different item and then things like color will vary within that category. Sorry to bring anyone’s hopes down, but it is very VERY unlikely that Zynga would give it out FV$, at least widely spread. If they were too do that, they would probably raise all the prices when new FV$ items come out. I’m not complaining though, the objective of business is money. If I were Zynga I would do them same.

@ Lisa T You can leave the presents on the request page… Dont move them all over to your gift box or you tie your gift box up! Facebook restrict your requests to 100 But as you take some off it tops it back up all the time so it could show 100 gifts till you actually drop to 99

i think that in each present there will be a set of items so we dont keep getting duplicates like a set of 10 items for red and blue and so on and the game randomly chooses one for us at random

I’m new to Farmville, but doing quite well so far.
I have a question about the Ornament Trees that have been released today.
They are limited edition – does this mean they will disappear, or stop producing, after Christmas?
They look like a very good investment if we can keep harvesting them permenantly…

I hope that it is exclusive items and FV cash! It would really help the new farmers and the ones like me who almost have all their ribbons and still won’t have enough to buy the next farm extension!

Come on people lets be realistic. Its not going to be FV$…
We all play this game for free and the only way Zynga makes its money is from people (like us) who pay for the extra FV$, and through companies that offer “free” FV$ for using their services. No company in the right mind would give away their revenue stream.
My guess is that it will be a small amounts of XP, Coin, or be items we can regularly buy from the Market using Coin. Useless to anyone higher than level 20, but valuable to new players which keeps them interested in the game and increases their likelihood of eventually opening those revenue streams.
Regardless of what they turn out to be, you all have to admit its going to add a little bit of fun when you get to open them. A little like Christmas, but from the comfort of your computer…

well it is CHrismas ZYnga has to give us somthingit wiill be great if it is FV or like mystery box (i got one mysstery box i need 16 FV i byud it and got a Groovy barn plus 800 exp) evryone says fuel but maybe somthing else . It can be some other things !!!! (today 11.12.20009) they maked the three 100 presents Farmville it is a great game they have to give us somthing good and the fact that we sell um for 5 coins … Hay balles also sell for 5 coins.

Dancer Donkey, I could not have said it better. Farmville is a fun FREE game. The Christmas tree and presents are a creative addition for the holidays. I won’t be disappointed in any gift I open, they didn’t cost me anything. So yes, I feel everyone of them will be worth opening (again, they are free). I love to see all the new things that come out on farmville. I do buy (with FV’s) items that I want. I especially like to buy the Haiti seeds, it’s a great way to help less fortunate people.
Zynga is not cheap, it’s free!!! If you don’t like the game or don’t have the patience for the minor bugs they fix immediately, simply do not play it ooorrrr just keep complaining.

It’s just so much fun wondering and waiting to see what’s in the boxes!! So much like when I was a young child! I hope nobody will actually feel disappointed if it isn’t huge exclusive items or FV … it was an awesome, creative idea they came up with to give us a couple of weeks to be excited and curious about it. I would love to see some XP come from them – the higher level you get, the MORE you need to level up and it isn’t easy.
There are FAR too many people playing Farmville for them to give every single one of us 100 presents with FV in them. LoL – that would be a ton. I don’t have my hopes up for FV but am still hoping for some XP.
Might even be brand new items that haven’t been introduced yet … maybe extra bags of fertilizer to take to neighbor’s farms with us; that would be one way of “giving” us extra XP.
Maybe a bunch of ants! LoL Field mice! Spare tires for my harvester! Grass seed! Hedges that I can cut to fit how I need them to! ……the possibilities are endless!

I don’t think they will give out FV$, either.
But I don’t doubt that they will contain some items you either can only buy from the market with FV$, or some items you can’t buy at all. I mean, you get flamingos, coloured chickens, fuel refills, gnomes, firepits etc from chicken eggs – and they’re free.
I doubt every present will be like that though. Up to 100 exclusive items is a bit much to give out to each person.
Fuel refills is a definite.
Probably coin and exp aswell.

I think it will be a variety of things, like tree swings, gnomes, coins, chickens etc. The ones you get from friend’s trees (special gifts) might be something more valuable, like XP dollars or golden chickens, or something entirely new.

I personally think there will be some very big surprises.
For example, Zynga said in one of their latest FarmVille posts that the presents contain some “special surprises”. Will some of these presents contain the dog we’ve all been waiting for?
There is also a chance that we may get the penguin that was mentioned in the FarmVille podcast a few days ago? But I think we will most likely get small exclusive items and fuel refills.

i opened my presents and got a gingerbread house and lots things. but i mostly got animals and fuels. but the first thing you will get is the new year thingy and you will get a present on January 1-3rd.

I opened mine. I had 22 gifts. I got 3 black cats, 2 gray cats, 2 calves, 2 brown cows, 1 alien cow, 1 clumsy reindeer, 1 lamb, 1 black sheep, 1 baby turkey, and 1 brown chiclen, 2 gold Christmas ornaments, a lighted Christmas box, 2 gold nutcrackers, a New Year’s ball, and a gift for 4 free fuel refills. In my case, the blue gifts were all animals. I’m on level 36.
