In an update made on Zynga’s official Twitter page, they simply tweeted a link to an image of 26 x 26 Land Expansion!
Is it possible that farmers could be upgrading their farms to the latest land expansion as soon as tonight?

I can’t tell you how glad I am that I planted 2 day crops today. Coming tomorrow: colossal crash day on Farmville! I love having more land, but I hate the day it comes out.

I think there will be. because when i was farming, “farmville was enhanced” came and when I refreshed all of my stacked fences was far apart lol i think this has something to do with the expansions.

I can’t believe this! YAYY! I planted way too many crops, and literally couldn’t place a single cow. But now , I can make my carnival and village again! No more cute items in storage great (; I love you farmville.. not you zynga!

I figure that the way they do things, it will be allowed on Friday night. This way. it’s a holiday weekend, everyone’s farm gets screwed up and Zynga has no one there because of the holiday….With all the new stuff they are putting out, 26 x 26 is nothing at all…Have more land levels…

Oh my god… it already takes me so long to harvest, plow, and plant my entire farm. My whole 24×24 is used for crops – the edges are trees, and i have a little corner for my stable and chicken coop, but that’s it. It takes me a good 15 minutes to to get through the whole thing, and I refuse to pay farm cash for extra fuel. It’s probably going to become 20 minutes with this newest expansion. And I can’t just not get it, because then someone else will master everything before I do. I just want more permanent crops!

Good to know that I wasn’t so off the mark when I mentioned in the previous topic (GIFT BOX GLITCH-POST 144) that a land expansion might be coming since I noticed that you are able to make your farm at least 3x’s smaller than normal when you zoom out.

It just has to happen NOW. I love the 24 day for fertilizing neighboring farms but couldn’t they put feeding the chickens on the same schedule?? It would make life a lot easier and less time spent “working”. I just wish it was going to 30 x 30. lol

Actually now that you can move planted plots around with the move tool, it doesn’t really matter if you’ve just planted. It takes less effort to move a plot than it does to delete it and then plow and seed.

Honestly, It would be cool to get some nicer things out of storage and onto the farm.

Yeah if we get a too big farm it will take hours to load. When we get 30×30 they should not give us more, but make a second farm available instead. And we should be able to move items between the farms, otherwise it wouldn’t make sense.
But I’m happy that it finally seems like we get some more space even though it’s not much. Won’t complain, more space is always welcome.

I’ve had a land expansion placeholder thingy show up in the market for a couple of weeks now…it shows up while the market loads and then disappears…I’m surprised that no body else had mentioned this happening to them too, unless I’m the only one??? I’m happy for the new land, but it’s probably going to cost at least 1 million coins…and I just spent all my saved money on those expensive new animals (dammit)…I wonder how long it will take to save up again.
On another note, I wonder if they plan on releasing more land expansions, because I was thinking, eventually more and more land expansions are going to cause problems with loading, especially when fertilizing neighbors farms…So I think at this point it does make sense having an “extra” farm, that way we can choose to load either the 1st or 2nd farm instead of trying to have everything load all at once and possibly crashing the computer.

It’s unbelievable.. People are already complaining about the expansion before its release! A 24×24 farm filled with things takes a while to load.. can you imagine a 30×30? Not to mention that from 24×24 to 26×26 we get 100 extra plots.. but if it was 30×30 that would be 384 new plots!! I also can see zynga releasing it only for high level players.. more complaining on the way!

I think its a good thing but 26×26 is not enough I have reached the max in my storage 200 I have like 7 barns and all my buildings are in storage my farm is literally crops and barns =( Im glad theyre doing it but they waiting so long to do so that most of us wont even notice

My issue with the 26×26 is that somehow Farmville tends to lag more the bigger the farm. Why? I’m not sure. I look at other games and feel that it shouldn’t be like that. If it is “normal”, perhaps they could try and put in other things that would help it not lag so much, such as the no animation setting.
There sure has been a lot of talk, but the list of things coming soon just gets thrown into the ‘todo’ pile. I don’t even know if they are still working on some of the things they have told us. Funny, I would love to see a podcast just filled with technical updates. Isn’t that what you usually see in patch updates?

you people that complain need to stop. It’s rediculous. bigger farms reguires more processing power on zyngas servers, which means they have to upgrade or replace them with new ones. This costs time and money. So before you complain about not having enough space, why don’t you try to remember this game is free for you to play (no one requires you to spend FV$ on anything to play, so don’t go there). Complain about not having enough storage over not enough land. Storage upgrade would be minimual in cost in comparison to the load put on the servers by more land, since storage is just an extra line in a database that isn’t accessed as much as items on your farm…

I’m thinking – I’ll have to rearrange my farm again. How about expansion x3…
27×27, 30×30, 33×33…… althought another 100 plots will help, I will just have to plow, seed and harvest with one row missing.
With the invention of Hot Rod vehicles and the School Bus Plow, I need divisables of 3. Maybe even have Co-Ops for other 9-plot FV vehicles (or convert the mail truck to a 9-plot harvester)!

Let’s hope they release it before the weekend. I’ve been waiting for this ever since the last expansion came out in early January. My guess is for eligability to purchase you’ll be required to have at least 45 neighbors and it will cost 1,000,000 coins and now that I think about it perhaps you’ll need to attain a certain level of advancement as well.

I sure hope that this is true! I first saw this notice yesterday – but we are still waiting !! Just where are we expected to put all of the new buildings that are supposed to be coming out??? Most of the buildings that I now have are in storage – and what is the point of getting more if we cannot place them on our farms ??????

I see that the expansion is here and I am so exited but it isn’t in the market, just the little information box at the bottom so i can’t buy it or anything. Can anyone tell me how i can get it and/ or how much it costs and the requirements to buy it (# of friends and things like that)

It came out tonight. Finally, Costs 80 FARMVILLE CASH!! If you have 120 neighbor’s you can buy it for COINS, but I don’t have 120, my question is, if anyone who has 120 and can see it for purchase can you please post how much it cost in coins?

too many buildings, not enough crops. there needs to be some kind of harmony in equalizing these two….but if the expansion is true then maybe Zynga is on to something (and our voices have been heard)

The new expansion requirements are a JOKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not everyone has 35 neighbors or 2 Million Coins and the purchase price of 80 FV Cash is ROBBING SOMEONE WITHOUT A GUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, I am done moving things around on my farm and I still had to delete plots in order to get the things out that I wanted out of storage, which was already full with the limit of 200 items, so I just held on to whatever I could in my gift box. Honestly, $80FV cash was not worth it to me, now if they had of given out half of what your farm already is and added it in then awesome, but Zynga will do anything to make a buck! Between expanding and finally getting a hold to that pony in the scam mystery box I put a pretty good dent into our checking account…my husbands and mine.
They will come out with a 28×28 and then a 30×30 as slowly as they can go, so people will buy them like they did last night. I opted to pay cash because I have gotten a hold of a lot of lousy neighbors here lately, but have some really wonderful ones as well and I knew with the flood of request it was for that reason. Eh, the game is really starting to get boring and just repetitive. Met some great gals on there, but I probably will not be breeding near as much.

How about a chicken coop unlock from time to time once a month for example as you do with the Nursery Barns ?
Come on zynga! be reasonable !
So many farmers have at least 5 Dairy Barns on their farms…….. and nothing to say of the Nursery Barns…

Not true…. the bigger the farm is the more farmers need new chicken coops….
Taking in account the reached level and the size of the farm… a farm with 26×26 need a least a second 2 chicken coop or a higher expansion until 80 or 100 ….
So Zynga, think of it …..
