    these are the worst ideas for ribbons they couldve come up with. seriously cat lady?? the egg one is bull too. these all seem too complicating or way too easy to get.

    the only one that makes sense is the fruit one. BAHHHH

    Go figure i just did my blueberries all week and got the ribbon. And for animal i hade around 500 combined cows and chicken and about a week later after i got the animal ribbon the coops an cow stations came out.

    Also for the Foremost Fruit Farmer, the blue ribbon requires 10,000, not 1000

    dunno exactly what each ribbon requires but from the sound of them there might be eggs involved, fuel involved…so they’re basically trying to get us to purchase farm cash to get some of these things. I hope everything except the fruit ribbon is just a rumor.

    I like the last two they added, they’re doable and challenging all at once. These seem sketchy.

    i’m confused, why would you ever NOT want more chances for ribbons? if you’ve finished all of them that means no more chances for free coins and xp bonuses. i say bring on as many as possible, silly sounding or not! there should be a ribbon for winning a bunch of ribbons. :)

    Even me was closer to get all the ribbon if zynga is going to produce any of new ribbon better the take count of whatever players have done till date. its not fair in the middle they introduce ribbons and we have to start from scratch. Everybody convey this to zynga

    I definitely need the challenge. Excited to see what these bring to the table. But I killed off most of my animals after i got the one ribbon, hoping that wasn’t a mistake :(

    What the ribbons are (from another XML file, which has all the strings presented to the user in the game)

    Hoarder: Have X items in storage
    They of Mystery: Open X mystery boxes
    Fenced In: Place X fences
    Baled Out: Place X hay bales
    Gas Guzzler: Use X fuel refills
    Need for Seed: Use the seeder to seed X plots
    Seasoned Decorator: Own X limited edition decorations
    Cracked: Open X Mystery Eggs
    Cat Lady: Brush X cats
    Foremost Fruit Farmer: Harvest X fruit crops
    Egg-celent Discovery: Discover X Mystery Eggs in your Chicken Coop

    Hoarder and They of Mystery look like marketing ploys by Zynga. Gas Guzzler looks somewhat like a marketing ploy, although with all the recent fuel refills in Holiday Gifts and the upcoming release of giftable fuel it might not be, as long as they release it soon. (Note that Hoarder, like Architect, is perfectly possible to get without spending a single FC as long as you temporarily set aside an area of your farm for barns/sheds. They of Mystery requires FC as things stand, though).

    Oh, and another leak, you heard it here first: Chicken feed coming December 29. A string in the localization XML file says it best:

    “Feeding the chickens in your friends’ coops increases their chance of getting Mystery Eggs! You might find some Mystery Eggs yourself!”

    This will be one of the random popups that will appear on January 29th. The others will have to do with the New Years Present. (still no word on what that will be)

    I like new ribbons, only have 2 blue left right now, the new ones.

    But ribbons that you have to buy farmcash? I only have 75 fuel refills, need 100 for the blue one. And 480 farmcash for the last mystery box!!!!! (30×16) My goal was to get all the ribbons, but not any more.

    I sold all mine also when I got the Zoologist ribbon lol, as for buying stuff with farmville cash to get a ribbon I will give that one a miss unless they make it eaiser for us to earn, I refuse to spend real money on a virtal game. And I have not produced a mystery eggs since coops came out so that ribbon will be off my list. I lost 2 of my 4 golden chicks when I harvested them soooooooooo gutted

    I like the idea because there’s no point in playing a game once all possible goals have been reached. We need new goals! But when is this all supposed to be happening? I don’t want to hold onto all my stuff for months and months.

    I agree about the mystery boxes though, you can’t do that without farmcash, which you technically earn for free- albeit very slowly- but the point of that has to be to spend money. Ditto on the Gas Guzzler. Not gonna happen.

    2 Free Gold Presents.

    Make a fake email and a new face book page. Add your regular profile. Go to your regular profile, accept your friend request and make 10 special presents by filling your holiday tree up, opening a present, putting one back in and posting the special present ten times. Go to your new face book page and click an FV post from your news feed to start a new farm. You will start with 5 FV cash and it is relatively easy to level up to a total of 10 FV cash if you get the ‘gifted not spoiled’ ribbon and use this method to level up. Plow a field and plant a soy bean. This will earn you 3 EX point for 30 coins. Now put the 10 presents in your tree and use the 10 FV cash to post a present. Remember only one person can ‘adopt’ the gold present. Now go to your regular farm and collect the prizes. A lot of times it’s just a stupid chicken but you can also find silver and purple mystery boxes, lambs, grey tabbys, 20 fuel…

    I sure hope they plan on giving us more land if they want us to put all these things on our land! I also dumped all my animals when I got the ribbon. Maybe I will do more barns so I can get 20 at one click ;o) Bring on the ribbons! The only one I won’t get is the mystery boxes cuz I won’t pay them for a pixel. Silly.

    forcing “farmers” to spend real money will just make people stop playing. there’s no motivation to try to get all of the ribbons when i KNOW i can’t get the stupid mystery box ribbon.
