Farmville Freak Mystery Box Prizes!

Farmville released the Mystery Box on 10.20.09 and Farmville Freaks everywhere have taken the risk and forked over 15FV$ for an exclusive Mystery Prize.
Ok, so after being a little highly disappointed with a Red Bike, I also learned that it could be worse. Why so you may ask? Well, because at least I wasn’t awarded with a pile of Baby Circus Elephant dung. Some Farmville Freaks were rewarded with a blah Striped Rest Tent or a mediocre Lounge Chair for 15 FV$. Really Zynga gods? I’m not sure how the winner of some of these prizes can consider themselves a “winner” as promised by Farmville, when they have to be feeling much more like they just got ripped-off.
I rename this the Mystery Box Prize GAMBLE because remember, it’s not guaranteed that you will get a cool prize, even if it is exclusive.
I’m hopeful that there are better, more 15 FV$ worthy Mystery Prizes out there like the Golden Gnome for example- score!

I got a lounge chair, totally not worth it, but one friend got a really cute picnic table with the lunch out on a checkered tablecloth, another friend got a firepit, not something I would want. I’ll use the lounge chair but I would not have bought it for what I paid.

Got a striped tent (unhappy with) and a Fire Pit (happy with).
They should drop colour variants (bike, tent) as they are simply not worth it. Aaaand…the trade-in coin value is pretty poor should you be unlucky enough to get a bike.
Why not a sheepdog, rooster, bull, cat, pear tree, black stallion, hen house, stable, wrought-iron gate, stone wall……? It shouldn’t be too hard to think of things players really want :-s

What a clever waste of money…I got the Gold Gnome, which apparently is one of the best (ha!) prices, and I still hate it. Zynga is totally forcing this Farmville Recession on us.
I wish we could transfer items or sell items to other players. I’m sure there are people who’d like that Golden Gnome. I’d take a couple thousand for it, which is 99% off the $15 cash I paid.
FarmGoddess, is there any other prizes out there besides those listed?

This is a blatant ploy by zynga to get farmvillians to waste their FV$’s, so they buy more when they realise the prize is horse sh**.

I got the gold gnome (as seen here) and I was excited when I first started to open the box, but then I found, what I thought at the time, was a sucky prize. Now I feel a little ashamed. I got the best prize. I suggest not buying these boxes. They really aren’t worth junk.

Whew – so glad I checked this out before spending my precious FV Cash! Fire pit might be nice, but no big deal on the rest. If there was a dog, or a kid, or a pick-up truck….

I’m pretty happy! I got a golden gnome, a fire pit, a tree swing and 2 pic nic tables (chanced my arm 2nd time for a hot tub!). They all look really cute as they are all in keeping with my farm! the gnome went well in my hedge maze, the fire pit with benches round and the pic nic tables and tree swing don’t need much imagination.
Yeah I guess $15 is a fair bit, but hey ho! it’s fun!

I got the golden gnome but was disappointed as I didn’t really care for garden gnomes but knowing it’s one of the best prizes, I guess I lucked out? I got the fire pit next. And lastly the striped tent. No more mystery boxes for me.

I got 30, and then 20 fuel refills. Then I became obsessed with getting something better. I got a white owl and then last the manor. The manor made it all worth it!!

like the Carrosel, Silver Streak Trailer, Water Tower, Donkey, and my
favorite the Flower Float, I think they got it right this time, and spending
the farm dollars is now worth it cause you can’t buy these gifts in the

i bought a mystery box yesterday and got the Flower Float, i don’t like it, i wanted the SilverStreak Trailer which i find so cool, i’m very disappointed, i wasted my FV. i think they should sell us trailers in the market and FOR COINS not FVs (10 000 coins for example or higher) i find it cool to have trailers in the farm.

Like Nody I got the float. I bought it hoping for a hottub or tireswing (dreading the bike and the gnome) but I guess with their country fair thing they threw those in.
I think they should take a poll as to which items (stuff like the hottub and tireswing) people would most want to win in a Mystery Box, THEN limit the amount of prizes to the top voted items.

Mystery Boxes are a rip. You spend hard earned FV cash and get a platinum gnome. They should sell for coins. FV cash should be used for something good.

Yah. I’m a video game addict, lol! I quit Everquest a year ago, and thought I had my addiction beat. Then I innocently join FaceBook, and my friend turns me onto this game. I actually spent $20 on FarmVille Bucks, because I really wanted the Pink Barn, and was so intrigued by the Mystery Box, I bought one of them, too. OMG! All I got was a stupid Tinsel Tree. Who wants another x-mas tree??? Mystery Boxes Suck! LOL!

They are obviously not worth it, but you can get great new things in the newest mystery boxes, like a White Manor, which cost 56 FV $, therefore saving you 41 FV $, although it is very hard to get. You can also get white owls

I got my first mystery box when I opened a regular green present. Then, when i opened the mystery box, it gave me 1000xp and Santa’s Workshop, and the resale price for that is 10000 coins and if i use it i get 2000 xp points! I guess they made the mystery box prizes better! I’m not sure though, I started farmville 2 days ago so I’m still really new to all this.

I think that the Mystery Boxes are just a waste of money!
Like a donkey, animal float, firepit, etc.
All these stuff you can find in GOLDEN EGGS! And it’s free!
I’ve got a tree swing, animal float, fire pit, zen garden, donkeys, golden gnome,… all in those golden eggs!
Or maybe you can find it in the presents, I’ve got a gingerbread home in a present (Christmas tree) and a friend of me has got a Santa House in a present!
Just don’t waste your money at the Mystery Boxes!!!
Like now you can find a grey goose in the new Mystery Box… I don’t buy one because I think Farmville will give it in a golden egg or something…

Jan mistery box is not worth ……
I bought 5 it gives
1. animal statue (sheee not worth)
2. Giant bell (size is not giant just the name hight of a santa max)
3.Alpaca ( looks like a camel white colour looks gud not worth)
4. snow man half desolved

I was only disappointed on one of mine. I opened a mystery on my fiance’s acct and he got a hot tub. I was pretty excited with that. BUT…I saved enough fv cash to buy me one and I opened a sneaky scarecrow. I already had 3 so I wasn’t too excited. I just bought one last night though and I opened a waterfall. I was excited about that one. I guess, you have to take your chances.

I spent some money to expand my farm and with the left over I purchased 2 mystery boxes 1st one was a cottage and the second was a water fall. I got lucky. I am glad I found this sight because I had this urge to spend more money. I think I will keep my money and just be happy with what I got.

The contents of these mystery boxes is not worth the $80 it would cost me to get the blue ribbon! The gold gnomes turn up in the mystery eggs anyway, although no XP, I’d still rather spend 200,000 FV coin and get my 1000XP that way. Personally, looking at all the stuff that is turning up in the market, I think they’ve employed some Yoville programers

Hi all…. i opened so far 2 mystery boxes first one i found a nice fire pit and second one i found a gabana that was nice olso… i like to say something on what i read here about silly gifts found in mystery boxes … well i understand that finding a gnome it not worth it … myself i had about 6 for sure all where in gifts . i did lost a few fv cash when trading gifts last xmax but that is the game like any other game you win and you loose and beside that remember the game got many axpencis to keep going on so they must get real money from somewhere .. anyway they could try to improve in mystey boxex gifts..somthing much more intresting…

I am so disappointed in farmville mystery gifts, yes the world is in a recession but farmville gifts should not they are taking our cash we should get some good prizes. I think their cheap and we are getting cheated that’s not fair because I have spent a lot of money on my farm and this makes me just want to say the heck with it all.

I am so very upset with the collectibles because when we turn a collectible in farmville is so darn cheap the people who click on the collectible once its post they get stupid stuff that they can get off the free gifts. Farmville needs to stop being stingy and give out good gifts when it comes to the collectibles, why even play it discourages me and I don’t even want to spend one more cent on the game get with it farmville, and take some notes, and change your ways.
