On 04.22.10 FarmVille added a new collection of Modern themed limited edition items. You may recognize many of the decorations as they were recently featured on FarmVille Freak as unreleased items.

They look great! Also they made an improvment: you can collect your animals with just one click, which could help when you don’t have a farmhands.

Ohhhh, new crops too! There are white grapes and purple poppies now in the market. I don’t know if the polar bear and gazelle have been posted yet, so if not… they’re new!

yup, all that is fine and nice, but the LE Indian stuff is gonna go a week too early. You think it’s a glitch, or are they moving too fast?

This means goodbye to forced breeding, you can’t move an animal now without harvesting it first.
Also, Cow for 50k coin is in.

Just found out that FV enhanced harvesting trees/animal feature, you can now harvest trees/animal with a click (not click, choose harvest). Like this new feature!

Jason, why would this stop forced horse breeding? Since they only need to be at 33%, this wouldn’t effect it, would it?

I really like the modern fence they put out—- but being at level 63, i’m not sure i like it enough to gain 5940 XP from buying all the fence I’d need to redo my farm. Having a hard time deciding lol

I’m really digging the modern fence. I have my whole farm fenced in and I’m thinking about replacing the regular fencing I have with these modern fences. The problem is that I’d have to buy easily over 200 fences at $1,200 each and I’m supposed to be saving for the Villa but then again this modern fence will only be available for 14 days ugh. I wish they made cool items like this permanent. I’ve been wanting my Villa since like forever but I think that’s gonna have to wait a bit more and I might end up replacing all the fencing of my farm with this modern fence.

very happy they r coins!! but i don’t think i will buy a fan cow… not much money at the moment… and besides a cow that will just be locked away in a dairy farm where no one will see her is kind of a waste
i will wait for it to go down a bit

@11 yea personally i would wait for the villa… modern fences probably won’t come out again and if they do it will be a loooong wait, and besides after a certain level you make so much money you have nothing to do with it all– thats when i got my villa… but i blew all my money on giving my farm a complete makeover so… i’m broke, i would refence my farm if i could though lol modern fences look great!! i’m gonna go count my fences and see if i have under 60- if i do i can replace

Forced breeding, well I don’t like the term but anyways.
A ready animal can no longer be moved. If you click on it, it will harvest, no option to move so no refilling the building.
The only way around I see is to set it up so the animals to be used for refilling come due in a staggered fashion.
i.e. Building is 100%, Next refill animal at 98%, the next 97/ 96%, the next at 96/95%, etc.
Haven’t tested it yet, but at least in theory that gives one time to refill the building and harvest before the next animal comes due. Unfortunately though this process will take more time than the old process.

Jen – I only tried it once, with cows.. and I didn’t realize horses could be moved in at 33%. (I’m still kinda new to this whole farmin’ thing!)

I personally dont like the scroll over the tools/ribbons thing and it pops up without clicking. It stays up even after i am not scrolled over it anymore. so maybe they will fix that with time.

Here is the info on the horse rotation from a previous post. I haven’t done it yet (waiting for the nursery to grow some foals), but it looks like there shouldn’t be any problems.

THE GAZELLE IS GORGEOUS!!! i was going to buy the kangaroo but just as i was placing it on my farm i realised how weird it looked…so i tried the gazelle and fell in love
polar bear is cute but… i don’t buy any animals over 20 cash… not worth it

@eduardo, the palm tree is a date tree you get from neighbors via gifting.
@ Lynn, the butterflies were part of the winged animals mystery box about a month or so back.

The wood planter looks nice, goes nicely with my provençal buildings, and the new bench is great to build walkboards!!

I wish that would bring those decorations or the whole edition back…that was the best of all of them….
