Valentines Day is booming in FarmVille.
Along with the other sendable Valentines Gifts used for your Valentine Box, there are also additional gifts that can be sent.
Whenever you receive Valentines requests from your neighbors you will have the option to “Send Love” free gifts. Notice that when you open these gifts they give you an instant prize and do not go into your Valentine Box or count as part of those Valentine gifts.

your friends have to ask for love in the window that pops up when you look inside the valentine mail box and you’ll receive a valentine request to send them love (love= those mystery gifts)

@Connor: It only works when you SEND a special Valentine gift in response to a specific Valentine request from your friend.
i.e. when your friend uses the Love Mail thing to request a gift, it appears as a gift notification in your FB acc like all other gift requests. When you click “Send Love” for that particular gift request, it brings up the various types of special gifts and you will have the option to send a flower valentine in exchange for a Mystery Gift.

its stuck for me:-( – i’ve ‘lost’ many requests when i click on my friends request for love – takes me straight to my farm where a pink window thanks me 4 sending love (which i havent been able to do) and tells me to check my gift box fore my reward – no pressie there in either gift box or valentine mailbox…..grrrr. will now stop sending love until it is fixed as all my love is going into ether….
i could send love and collect my reward gift easily about 1 hr ago..

I got the Heart Teddy. I love it! I thought it was just one of the other teddy bears, just with a heart shirt on. I went to put it on my farm and it’s HUGE! It’s cool! I also got 1 FV$.

I got a banana tree, a date tree, a heart teddy, and the last mystery box didn’t work at all. It gave me the purple flowers in a vase that went into my valentine’s box.

You can do multiple gifts to the one person, as the farmville screen opens click back & it will take you back to the give love screen & you can do it 10 times, (will keep giving to the same friend though) all 10 gifts will be in your gift box

I just started with this..I got fuel and a Mystery Gift (still have like 50 unopened ones from before)
BTW, has anyone noticed that your Gift Box can now hold more that 30 Items? o__o

I just sent a few Valentine Gifts, and together with the Items I already had in my Gift Box, I had in total 38 Items in it,lol.
Doesn’t work with normal Gifts, though.

Is it exactly the same box as the giftable one? If yes, then it shouldn’t matter if you get it as a gift from a friend or as a gift you get after sending a valentine, stuff inside should be exactly the same.

A STUPID MYSTERY BOX:
it is same as the box before but it includes this:

I found a glitch where you can get 2 mystery boxes from one send love thing. All you have to do is go to your history and click the link again and you will get another one. I found this out by accident and I have gotten like 5 extra mystery boxes just for clicking the link again.
NOTE: You can only get a max of 2 boxes per one link.

same thing happens to me, when i get a request for love, it takes me straight to my farm without going to that page and it gives me a thank you note for doing it without any sending or receiving, argh!!!!
It worked fine for the first few ones, but now it just goes straight to my farm, I am so angry

I got to send a few love yesterday.I got the gift (I sent XP) but the people I was sending love too never got theirs. It starting going to my farm so I stopped trying.It does like the return thank you gift.This morning I tryed 1 and it went to my farm so I stopped trying again. Plus some of my retuned by thank you gift dissappeared when accepting.I like the fact we get one of the gifts from getting the valentines as you don’t have to hover the home page to get one.But it does only give one.Homepage is so messed up with this new page that I miss alot of valentines,collections and bonuses.Stinks. Wish they get it fixed.

I can’t “send love” to people… I don’t get the option to pick a gift for myself, it just goes straight to my farm!?

A Glitch ( not really :p )!! You can have a person send you 10 love requests, and you can accept them all and claim 10 free fuel, mystery boxes or whatever per day!
