FarmVille Freak Techie: Great Neighbors Glitch

Looks like Zynga has almost fixed whatever issue they were having yesterday. Most of the people that could not access their farms yesterday can now see their wonderful crops.
However, there seems to be some lingering glitches. Not sure what this one is all about, but looks like FarmVille Freaks Tom, Duygu, and BJ received this notice while on their farms.

guess what i got my 4 fuel refills and i wasnt even allowed to get on yesterday YAY!! but for real that problem really slowed down my progress also, if we fertilize or feed chicken will the same thing happen again?? im to scared to try lol

I think there’s still something wrong…. I just harvested, plowed and planted my farm and didn’t get ANY xp at all. I probably wouldn’t have noticed but I was like 100xp from leveling up and didn’t.

Definitely still issues, I haven’t gotten a fuel bonus since Tues and today when I go to fertilize my neighbors, my fertilizer dissappears after the prompt to fertilize but before I can fertilize any crops

I got this notice ALOT yesterday …. not today though
when i went onto farmville yesterday and i received my 2 fuel refills i did not get the proper message you are supposed to get with it and instead got this … quite a few notices popped up that were suppsed to tell me other stuff but instead they told me this!!!

i am still having problems and now am unable to fertilize or feed peoples chickens, i love doing this and hope it gets fixed soon, am a truely addicted farmville player and was gutted yesterday when i was unable to get on my farm all day!

Still no farmville refills!!!! And I noticed that after about 25 neighbors today, it wouldn’t let me fertalize any more crops or feed anymore chickens! Not sure what was goingf one here!

I’m only having trouble with gifts and it’s only Farmville (not Zoo, the other game I play). But things are OK overall.

I could not fertilize anymore then 20 (visited 25 though).. after that Out of fertilizer. I have been away for a couple of days so I know I’m not off by a couple of hours on the game’s clock.. Hopefully this is just a glitch and not another game limit.

I’m having the same issue with the fertilizing and feeding chickens. I guess it happened around 20 neighbors. I can still help neighbors after that. Then it asks you if you will fertilize their crops, I click yes but then FV tells me out of fertilizer. And at that point cannot feed anymore chickens. That would suck if they impose some kind of limit. I have way more neighbors than 20!!!!!

haven’t received that notice. hmm.
despite what happened to everyone yesterday, being unable to get into FarmVille.
they gave us yesterday’s missing fuel and todays! yay.
however, i don’t think i’ll be feeding any of my neighbors chicken coops for a while. lol.
i don’t want to be locked out again!
hopefully, they’ll fix the coop glitches and whatever other glitches remain.

I’m still having tons of issues with FV. And the weird thing is that today’s problems are different than yesterday’s problems. When I try to get into my farm from Facebook, all I get is a blank screen. I can’t get anything from the newsfeed either. Farmville.com is working for me, but I can’t fertilize anyone’s crops. All it will let me do is feed chickens. I really, really hope Zynga gets their act together soon.

WTF!!!! SINCE WAS IMPLEMENTED THE NEW WAY TO SEND GIFTS TO OUR NEIGHBORS, I’M HAVING PROBLEMS!!! THOSE GIFTS THAT MY NEIGHBORS RETURNED TO ME BY CLICKING ON THE BOTTON NEXT TO MY NAME WHEN THEY RECEIVE MY GIFT… THEY ARE NOT GOING TO MY GIFTBOX!!! IT SEEMS TO BE LIKE FALSE GIFTS!!! AND I’M LOSING LOTS OF FUELS COZ OF THAT! =’C IS ANYBODY ALSO HAVING THAT PROBLEM??? PLS, PUBLISH IT ON THE FARMVILLEFREAK PAGE TO SEE HOW MANY PPL ARE HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM!!! I’m having trouble getting gift and bonuses from my FB homepage ( a few golden eggs are just sitting there waiting to be taken!). And I can’t fertilize on neighbors’ farms. Otherwise, hunky dory.

Lots of eggs to adopt on the home screen, however, when you click to hatch the egg it does not allow you to get it, it just gives the white screen and does not load the farm. Maybe we should have some adoptable insects since it is starting to look more like BUGville!!

A really strange thing happened when i logged on to my farm to day. I had gotten 150,000 more coins then i had before. I was really suprised becauseI had problems getting on yesterday after i fed my friends chicken coops. everything is fine now on my farm but im really excited about the coins

There appears to be a limit on how many you can fertilize now– you need 50 neighbors to get the local celebrity blue ribbon, but you can only help 20 or so now? I could understand limiting the chickens but I liked getting the XP points helping neighbors. I find it ironic how the message box pops up begging me to help a neighbor & the game KNOWS I am out of fertilizer for the day!
Sometimes I can get stuff posted in my Facebook feed (found animals, bonuses, etc) as well as gifts, and sometimes the stuff disappears. Also I have had mixed luck getting into my farm both on Zynga and on Facebook. I want to buy a couple of mystery boxes but I don’t dare until they work out the bugs.

@ Carlos – Same here, but don’t get frustrated. I did not navigate away from the page but kept on reloading it until the gift appeared. Sometimes I hit the reload button on my web browser 10-15 times before the gift appeared and I could put into my FV gift Box.
Keep Farming and don’t forget to “RELOAD”

Anyone having trouble with trading gifts in the xmas trees, every gift i get regularly is a white chicken or those useless ornaments, i would really like a mystery box because of the xp points and i want to trade in 5 gifts for 5 fv since yesterday, it would take my cash and then when i say trade a blank popup screen appears and an out of sync message and I am where i started again, today is the last day and was really hoping for something cool and I can’t get the trade

I too am afraid to navigate to my neighbor’s farms. Yesterday 530am to 730pm, I was not able to get into FV. @ 730pm I finally made it back on, Plowed and Planted – and the fool I was started to visit my neighbors and fertilize (and yes, Feed the Chickens). What was I thinking?!!!!! About 15 people into my list, I hit my 3rd OoS farm and FV was again lost. So, I turned out the lights, the computer and watched stupid shows on the TV.
Right now, I very much afraid of going to anyone’s farm but my own. I would like a reassurance from Zynga that all is well before I tread into those shifty waters again.
Anyone else feel this way?

If the limit of feeding chickens is 20 start from your highest neighbours then go down the list

I have a glitch, with a picture, just don’t know how to post/send it.
also, halfway through helping my neighbours today I was unable to fertilize even if I hadn’t been to the farm in two days and I wasn’t able to feed chickens either. Now it’s asking me to help neighbours but isn’t allowing me to once I get there. Hence the screen cap of my glitch message.

I am absolutely amazed that Zynga hasn’t thought of the easy way to fix the glitch with the fertilizing and feeding of chickens. JUST DENY ACCESS TO THOSE FUNCTIONS FOR EVERYONE UNTIL IT IS FIXED. They seem able to disable withering on whim, why can’t they just block the feeding and fertilizing until their technicians are able to fix the glitch? I don’t see the sense of sending a notice out and hoping that everyone will stop and/or send the notice to their friends – ain’t gonna happen, people being human after all. Sure, they may get some complaints at first but I bet a lot fewer than if this continues indefinitely.
If anyone in Farmville Freak has any pull at Zynga, you might want to put this idea forward to them – what can it hurt? Thanks for letting me air my beef.

Having same issues with not being able to fertilize crops and coops. Yea!! to those who got their fuel credits while locked out…I DID NOT!!! No sign of any…guess I am back to square one and time is running out. Maybe tomorrow something will show up (fuel) and suprise me. I had returned , logged on and was playing before the site went down so you would think my fuel credits would have been logged. They need to hurry and FIX all these bugs!!!!

heres a strange glitch im having. there are plowed plots of land underneath my crops. I can plant on them and every so often they pop through and replace my existing crop. I’ll try to get a screenshot but its hard as they only show as my farm is loading.
anyone else have this happen?

I am getting the “Great neighbors” popup instead of the “Premium crops” one. I think this is the clue to it.
To Farmgoddess: please, is there a way to limit the rants or keep them to some posts, instead of having to scroll down pages and pages of complaints before getting an actual in-topic reply?

Hi,
I have been getting the ‘Great Neighbours’ box for a while now. It comes up to inform me that someone has fertilized my crops, I click accept and then their photo goes to the top left of my farm. I can then click on their photo to send a gift to say thank you for fertilizing. I no longer have the option to thank them with the old bonus system.
Think it must be a new way of doing it that they are testing on a few of us.
It hasn’t caused any problems for me.

I am having the same problems with the fertilizing. Farmville will prompt to to fertilize and there is no fertilizer to use. It doesn’t say that I am out…it just never shows up.

I just got this “Great Neighbors!” pop up but with different text, it says “Your friends fetilized your crops and feed your chickens”.

I Can accept all Gifts that people send however, Any Gift that has the “Thank you for sending me a gift” Just dissappears. I wonder if everyone is haveing this issue because I have been useing the “Send Thank You Gift” Button.
I was so excited to be able to send Gifts to people who have Sent me one First…rather than try to remember….who did what on which day. If they want you to have 50 neighbors….you should get more than 24 gifts….you end up hurting feelings!
But I am so upset if Everyone is not getting Thank you Gifts??????

My friend is new to Farmville and is not receiving any bonuses from her FV neighbors on the home page. She has to go to her wall to receive them…I’ve been playing for 6 months and I do not have to do this. Any suggestions. We believe we’ve checked all the settings. Thanks a bunch !!

Please help me… I’ve been unable to do any farming today….
I’ve rebooted my computer, emptied my cache, freed up space on my C drive, and updated adobe flash player… i can access facebook. When i go to load up my farm i just get a blank page… very frustrating… I have become hopelessly attached to my farm and want it to work… Please help me, My computer needs upgrading, but it’s not been much of a problem before, i have at times recently received the message that my virtual memory is low… and to wait, but it has always continued. I do have one glitchy item on my farm, being a plot of land that is outside the border of my farm, on the edge. Please please please help… reply to my email if you can, as i’m not that computer savvy, and may not find this comment again.. Please help.

I have some serious glitches in my game and would like some help, I emailed zanga and all they do is tell me check FAQ, which i have many times.
I’m level 23 and I have NO fuel tank, I have tons and tons of refills in my gift box, but when I use them they just wasted. There’s no Fuel symbol on the bottom left on my screen where it should be. Also any time i buy a vehicle it just says “the game is out of sync” and then it’s gone.
I want vehicles and fuel tank!!!!

This morning when I tried to access my farm on farmville —-half of my stuff is missing…no houses, no barns, a lot of trees, all my ponds and some other stuff is missing? I have emaild their support and haven’t heard from them yet. I don’t have an issure with any other game I play on facebook. I have tried refreshing the page..doesn’t work, tried restarting my computer, doesn’t work…Don’t know what else to do. I do know I didn’t delete anything.
