FarmVille Freak Techie: Ribbon Glitches / Bugs
Although most people will be happy to see that Zynga has lowered the standards or requirements for some Ribbons which will make them easier to earn, a few people (more advanced farmers) may be temporarily losing out.
Looks like us FarmVille Freaks that were way ahead in the Cream of the Crop and Flower Power game now have a negative count. This affects mostly those that were trying to achieve the Blue Ribbon in these areas.
It seems that if you were beyond the limits of the current requirements for the Blue Ribbons before the change, then ironically you have not been awarded the Blue Ribbons even though you have technically met the numbers! Ouch.
I hope Zynga fixes this bug issue soon!

Hi!
I had the same “problem”. I was about to reach the amount for the Cream of the crop Blue ribbon and Today when I logged in I notice that I had negative values. As soon as I harvested some crops I got the ribbon! I’m glad to know that they have lowered the Flower Power Blue Ribbon Values… now it’s something real to do!

Harvest some crops and you will get blue ribbon, if you have negative value.

i believe they updated the count on how many you need to do, because i earned cream of the crop this morning and was not expecting it. so if your negative you should get the blue ribbon soon

i too can confirm that once harvesting one item you get the ribbon straight away it isnt like a bug that you wont get it until zynga fixes it. just do one more of what your meant to do and it fixes itself. also i dont know if you mentioned but they also reduced the “good samaritan” and “crop whisperer” ribbons

CropWhisperer went down too, but it didn’t give me the ribbon-and I’m 2,000+ over And can’t fertilize crops til tonight..

my game re- freshed after the update and 2 blue ribbons(as i was ahead of the new counts) popped up and froze my screen – i lost the related xp and coins – not happy Jan!

I had it too (-11 000) and at my first harvest i had the blue ribbon so ..
just harvest something and you get the ribon =)

Hi,,i having been waiting for my farmville cash..and now almost thinking that iy is a scam..i keep joining the farmville freak cash u know the ones that say free farmville cash for suggesting friends 75 the first time then this last one …whats going on…don.t promise then not give …its says 24hrs.also the this 500,farmcille cash i must not be doing the application right …please help. thks dawn matthews

I’ts nice for me I was suppose to harvest 20 000 flowers and now like 4000 and the crops 45 000 and now 13 000 because of the bog

@ Dawn and @ Nik: I just earned my Blue Ribbon in Crop Whisperer at 4,105 crops! Is that what the magic number is? Seems kind of off… What will happen to those who were over the Blue Ribbon amount before they lowered the standards?

I had about 15,000 left to harvest before I got the blue ribbon, but as soon as I harvested about 5 plants, they gave me the blue ribbon. Weird!

to fix this problem you just have to do the thing that requires you to earn the ribbon. and hopefully you will get it..

when you feritlise or harvest a crop it will adjust the ribbon is you have already reached the target but you have not been given the ribbon/prizes

They should’ve lowered the Knock on Wood ribbon and left the rest alone. 5,000 trees is way too many when the quickest one still takes 2 days to harvest. I have blue ribbons on everything now except for knock on wood and the 2 new ones. Blue ribbon should be 2,500 trees instead of 5,000.

I am -4500 on Flower Power, so at 440 plots per 1 day flower crop, I have wasted the last TEN days of growing flowers. Gee thanks.

I had the negative value as well.. jus harvest/fertilize one plot and you’ll get the blue ribbon. Its 24th 6.07am still cant open the presents thou

It’s not only those ribbons, I had the Crop Whisperer White Ribbon, and now it says “Fertilize 200 Neighbor Crops to earn the White Ribbon -, 286 to go”. I hope they fix this problem.

Just harvest/fertilize/help whatever it is and you will get the blue ribbon and not have to worry about the negative!!

My Garden Shed is gone I don’t know where it went and I know I didn’t delete it, but I’m glad I’m not the only one with this problem hopefully Zynga fix the problem soon.

my fenced in ribbon doesn’t work, I got the first ribbon, but everytime I log out the counter goes back to 0, I purchased enough fences to win the blue ribbon and nothing. I wrote Z an email and all I got was “were working on it” no refund, nothing….Im so ticked!

i have the same problem with the ribbons jennifer. i have been stuck at 11 for 5 ribbons now and i should be up to 16. my friend is stuck at 11 as well and should have 13. and another friend is not stuck but didnt have 2 ribbons counted towards her cash
